Getting closer to the arrival of the ninja :)
Andrew and Noah watched their parents with interest as they forged the platinum weapons. Andrew added some of his powers to the raw platinum and watched as a bo staff of earth, kunai knives of fire, Kusarigama of lightning, and the bow of ice. Soon the intricate weapons were complete and Zane set them on the floor in front of his two sons.
"It's time to see who the Green Ninja of the Never realm is," said Zane with a smile. Andrew went first. The weapons didn't react. Noah took a deep breath and walked forward. The weapons glowed a dark green and circled around him.
"Noah, you are the green ninja," smiled Zane
"Nice, now you have two powers like me, good one bro," said Andrew as he ruffled his brother's hair
"We will do our best to train you to use your new powers but much of the learning will be on your own," said Zane
"So do I get a new gi or keep this one?" asked Noah. Cole smiled and pulled a neatly folded green gi from the cabinet. Noah took it and used spinjitzu to change into his new outfit. The green fabric was accented with light blue dragons snaking up the sleeves and there was titanium thread woven into the fabric for extra strength and durability.
"We made two green gis, one for in case you were the green ninja and another in case it was your brother," said Zane, looking at his son with pride.
"I love it," said Noah, hugging his parents.
"Your training begins tomorrow," said Cole
"I need to tell Akita!" said Noah running out of the castle and mounting his power dragon
"I have a date, I'll be home later," said Andrew
"Oh? Who's the lucky someone?" asked Cole, raising his eyebrow and smirking
"Her name is Alice," said Andrew
"Wait? Grimfax's daughter?" asked Zane
"Yeah, I've been dating her for the past two weeks," said Andrew
"Oh boy, here we go," sighed Cole
"What?" asked Andrew
"Grimfax has frequently sent betrothal offers, he has been determined to set one of you boys up with his daughter, now that you are dating her I suspect he's already planning the wedding," sighed Zane
"Well she is really nice, it could be worse, she could be a pampered entitled spoiled brat, but she's not. And that would explain why her dad keeps bursting in asking how things are going, I suspect that's why we are going shopping in the village of the great lake," said Andrew
"Well if the relationship succeeds then you'll be the first ninja to pull off a relationship with royalty, in hindsight Lloyd was so naive and way too trusting when it came to Harumi," said Zane thoughtfully
"Idiot deserved it," muttered Cole under his breath
"I so hope they do come here, I want to see Noah beat the crap out of Lloyd," grinned Andrew
"Once they realize that the balance is screwed up without your father and me, they'll come, hopefully long after we're dead, I never want to see their faces again," said Cole, obvious malice in his voice
"But darling if they come after we are gone we will never get to see our boys kick the ever-loving crap out of the ninja, or Lloyd's face when he realizes destiny dissed him," said Zane
"You're right, I definitely want to see the pouty look on Lloyd's face when he realizes he's been replaced and is no longer the special little snowflake he thinks he is," said Cole
"Can I send a fireball at Jay?" asked Andrew excitedly
"Boy, we'd be mad if you didn't," said Cole, ruffling his son's hair. Andrew grinned before heading out to meet Alice.
