The Newest Rainbow
Forrest watched as the humans unboxed the two appliances. A very familiar orange Rainbow and a Kirby Classic Omega sat in the living room.
The vacuum shook. "Where am I?" She spotted Forrest sitting a few feet away. "Dad?"
"Olivia?" Forrest asked. Olivia nodded. The two hugged.
"Never thought I'd see you again!" Citrus laughed. He looked at the TV. "Hmm, great home theater set up."
Olivia laughed. "We've spent decades at a movie theater, so that kinda rubbed off on him."
Citrus was looking at the DVD collection. "Hmm, what's this?" He pulled out an unopened DVD. Forrest's eyes widened.
"No!"
Olivia stared at the DVD, then at Forrest. "One of your old Master's favorite shows got an unnecessary reboot?"
"Yes," Forrest groaned.
Citrus stared at the cover. "I remember making fun of this with one of the computers in the office," Citrus said. "This is funny."
Forrest paused. "Bad?"
Olivia chuckled. "Oh, he loves bad movies. Making fun of them, to be honest."
Mint watched as the first Rainbow to be shipped back was packed. Marine and Keith were ready to go.
Mint waved as the boxes were taken to the truck.
"Will you keep in touch?" Twilight asked.
Mint nodded. "I gave him my e-mail address, so, yes."
Lief and Scylla, Candy and Emily, Papaya and Samael. All of them had to return home.
Mint pulled out a notepad full of e-mail addresses.
"They won't be forgotten," Mint said. "They'll tell me when they arrive home."
