~Chapter 7~
James
I wandered into the enchanted forest trying to find those elemental creatures. Passing by the tribe of the Northuldra people who had settled just outside the forest. I kept moving until I came across a familiar sight I might have missed if it was dark. A treehouse. It was vague, but I remembered coming here with my brother Zane and his wife Lucia along with the two from Arendelle. I climbed the ladder and my hands shook as I looked over all the drawings and memories flooded my head. In a fit of anger, I tore the drawings off the wall, but something stopped me from ripping anything up. I couldn't do it. I shouted in anguish cursing the day I ever made a deal with that woman.
I left the treehouse and wanted to confront that woman in her kingdom. Maybe all I had to do was make another deal and everything would return to normal. Though as I passed by the Northuldra camp again, I heard whisperings of that woman running away from her home. How fortuitous for me. I made my way to the kingdom resting on the fjord, but now it was in shambles. Water had overtaken this place. As I tried to find clues to that woman's whereabouts, I eventually spotted a trail of ice leading toward the docks of the place. Surely this woman didn't go running across the fjord. This just made finding her a lot harder.
