Chapter 12: No One Saw That Coming
3rd POV
Sebastian jumped down before anyone else could. Edward was about to jump after Sebastian, but Sebastian stopped him. "Wait till I get rid of the flames." Sebastian said before he started to put out the fire. Once all the flames were gone Edward and his family jumped down. Sebastian saw Kala's body laying a few feet from DW. Sebastian move towards her; Kala is laying on her side. Slowly turning her over Sebastian can see that she wasn't burn but she looked hurt. Kala whimpered in pain as Sebastian held her. "Let me take a look at her." Carlisle said as he knelt down next to them.
"Ok." Sebastian said as he held Kala still. Carlisle check Kala out and found out she had a few broken bones. "She has a few broken bones, but she will heal and be fine." Carlisle said with a small smile. Edward and Sebastian felt relief when he spoke those words. "I can still race." Kala spoke softly from Sebastian's arms. "The race has been postponed till tomorrow night." came Lizzy's voice from behind the Cullen family. Everyone turned to look at the crimson Magic Lord. Lizzy is in all red even her hair is crimson. "Why?" Kala said in confusion. The others besides Sebastian are confused by why Kala said that.
"I know it's not part of the race. Yes, you should have been out of this race, but what happened to you wasn't part of the race." Lizzy said with a blood rage in her voice. "Someone outside the race did this?!" roared Sebastian scaring the vampires. Kala looked pissed off as she stood up. The pain she felt was nothing to the rage she felt. "Do we know who did this?" Kala said in a murderess voice making her family look at her with worry. Kala's body shook and some blood spilled from her lips with the effort to just sand. "Not yet. I give you my word Princess Kala that we will find who did this." Lizzy said as she bowed to Kala. "I told you not to call me princess Lizzy. I invoke the World Race payback." Kala said and the Cullen's looks at her confused at what she said.
"I will make sure you will get your payback on whoever did this. No one messes with the World Race not even the Lords. I got a feeling that a Lord is behind this. I can't wait to see what you will do to them." Lizzy said as she waved her hand to DW and it was fixed. "Thanks Lizzy bear." Kala said and that made Lizzy blush. "You know I don't like being called that, but since you are my best friend, I will let it slide this time." Lizzy said with a smile. Then the two of them started laugh, but Kala had to stop cause the vibrations of laughing made her body hurt more. Then blood came out of Kala's mouth. "Let's get you to the healing wing." Lizzy said. "Kala's mate picks her up and follow me." Lizzy said to Edward.
Edward nodded and slowly picked up Kala so he wouldn't hurt anymore. Once they were ready Lizzy lifted everyone and DW back up. "I take DW back to the garage so when you are healed you back fix it up." Sebastian said to Kala. "Thanks, Bassy." Kala said in a tired voice. Sebastian kissed the top of her head before he took off. Edward had to run to keep up with Lizzy. It didn't take them long to get back to Lizzy's huge home.
Lizzy lead them to the healing wing, Edward laid Kala down on a nice soft bed. Once Kala was on the bed Lizzy started to heal Kala. Edward held Kala's hand as Lizzy healed Kala. "Kala, I got my coven looking into everyone. We will find out who did this and then you will get your payback on them." Lizzy said still pissed off that someone thinks they can really get away with this. No one messes with the World Race. "I'm going to make them pay dearly." Kala growled as she closed her eyes as Lizzy fixed her ribs.
Lizzy looked at Edward. "So, you are Kala's mate." Lizzy said to Edward. "Yes, I am." Edward said back to Lizzy. "Kala is like my own sister and she is my best friend. You hurt her again I will make you feel a lot of pain." Lizzy growled at Edward. "Lizzy I can handle myself." Kala said as she opened her eyes again. Lizzy and Edward looked at Kala. "I won't hurt her." Edward said. Kala looked up at Edward. "Things will happen, but I still love him Lizzy." Kala said as she smiled at Edward. Edward bent down and kissed Kala.
"No sex till Kala is fully healed." Lizzy said. Kala chuckled softly. "No worries about that Lizzy. Edward wants to get married before we have sex." Kala said and Lizzy looked at Edward. "Really? You want to get married first? You are mates and you don't have to be married first. Kala needs some sexy time." Lizzy said to Edward. Lizzy knows how Kala is and Kala loves to have sexy time. Edward could hear all of Lizzy's thoughts. "I'm just old fashioned. I want to be married before I claim Kala." Edward said and Kala smiled funny.
"What's wrong with her?" Edward said. "It's the pain numbing spell I used on her. It's like morphine, but stronger. When are you two going to get married?" Lizzy asked because Kala hasn't talked to her back it. "I haven't asked her yet, but she said she wants to get married." Edward said. "Ask her when she wakes up and we can have the wedding here. Then you can clam her, but there is something you should know." Lizzy said.
"What do I need to know?" Edward said. "I know Kala hasn't told what she is, but she doesn't even know about this. I think you should know this." Lizzy said softly as Kala fell asleep. Edward waited for Lizzy to go on. "You are Kala's mate, but she also has one more mate. I know who he is, but I want you know. I will let you decide if you want to let Kala know about this or not. The other mate knows her happiness is more important then his own. He would do anything to make sure she is happy, even letting her have one mate and he has to watch." Lizzy said softly.
Edward looked at Kala, he didn't know how he should feel. Kala has two mate and he is one of them. He has an idea of who the others one is, he has the chose of not telling Kala and he can keep her all to himself. "Thank you, Lizzy for telling me. Can you watch Kala I need to go and think about what you said." Edward said and Lizzy nodded.
After Edward left the room he walked through the forest. "How is Kal doing?" Sebastian said from behind Edward. Edward turned around and saw Sebastian not looking like himself. "She is passed out, but she will be fine." Edward said. Sebastian smiled a little at hearing that his gem is going to be fine. Edward would have kept what Lizzy told him to himself, but he couldn't do that to Kala. "Why do I have the feeling you want to tell me something." Sebastian said to Edward.
Edward rubbed the back of his head before he spoke. "Lizzy told me something and I wasn't sure if I wanted to say anything about it. But I love Kala and I know you love her like I do. I know you are her other mate and I know you know it too. You never want to hurt her and with all the stories she has told me about you, not once have you hurt her. Unlike me I hurt her more then I wanted to. You want to see her happy even if its not with you. I'm not that kind of man that will keep a mate from their mate. I might not like the idea of sharing her, but I won't stop her from going to you." Edward said.
Sebastian looked at this vampire with shock. He never thought he would share Kala with him. Yes, he has known Kala was his mate, but she has to be the one that says she wants him for hers before the bond is formed. "You really sure about this? I am fine with her being with you, as long as she is happy." Sebastian said softly. "Sebastian, I know you love her, and I can't keep this to myself. She would be so pissed off if she very found out. Besides having you around will keep me at ease when I have to go hunting. Knowing you are there to protect her." Edward said.
"You know she don't need to be protect right?" Sebastian said to him. "I know, but it puts my mind at ease when I'm out. Beside that I can't give her want she wants right now." Edward said. "What do you mean?" Sebastian asked him. "She wants to have sex, but I want to wait till we get married first." Edward said and Sebastian smirked at him. "I get you, you're from that time. I will help her with that itch, but you should hurry and ask her to marry you before I ask her." Sebastian said. "What was that?" Edward said when he heard his thoughts. "Before Kala left, I was planning on asking her to marry me and when she came back, I was going to ask her. Then you came back, and I couldn't do that. Her happiness means more to me then having her more myself." Sebastian said to Edward.
"So, will we try and make this work for Kala?" Edward said to Sebastian. "Yes, I want to be there for her and you." Sebastian said and Edward looked at him. Sebastian smirked as he moved closer to Edward. Then Sebastian leaned down and kissed Edward on the lips softly. Edward was in shock, but it didn't feel wrong. He closed his eyes and kissed Sebastian back. When Sebastian pulled back Edward growled a little. "I thought so." Sebastian said with a smile. "What are you talking about?" Edward said feeling a little warm you could say. "I know many tri couples, also known as a three-mating tri. Mostly one female and two males, but there are others as while. My own parents were a tri, one female and two males. Mostly the two males are bi, so all three can feel comfortable. That means we all have sex together." Sebastian said as he pushed Edward up against a tree.
Edward couldn't help himself; he was starting to get turned on. "Since we three aren't really humans there is a tri ceremony that we can do. Basically, means we all three get married as one, most of them takes the females last name, but knowing sexy ass she will take one of ours. I'm hoping you and Kala will take mine last name this first go around. Then the next yours. I just want to have a few offspring to have the DarkMoon name to pass on the family businesses to." Sebastian said softly as he pressed his body up against Edwards who moaned softly. "That will be fine with me." Edward said breathlessly as he pulled Sebastian down for another kiss.
No one saw this coming at all. Alice was the first to find out and she had her mouth opened when she saw this. Alice couldn't wait for him to tell the others so she wouldn't have this on her chest.
Sebastian pulled around from one of his mates. "Let's go and wait till our little mate wakes up to tell her the good news babe." Sebastian said and Edward smiled at him. He felt like Sebastian is going to be the top male in this relationship and for some reason Edward was ok with this.
