Ash sat on the edge of his bed. his elbows rested on his knees and his head laid in his hands.
I wonder what Gary is doing, he thought to himself. He lifted his head and searched the room for his mouse friend.
"Hey Pikachu? Wanna go play with Umbreon?" he asked the mouse, who was sitting at the foot of his bed.
"Pika!" the mouse shouted. He jumped off of the bed and ran towards the door.
Ash and Pikachu wandered down the stairs towards the room Gary was staying in. when he got to the foot of the stairs, he saw Gary rush out of the room and break into a run. Ash noticed he had tears running down his face, and none of his Pokémon were on his belt.
"Gary!" Ash yelled as he started to chase him. This just caused Gary to run faster.
Before- with Gary
He sat silently on his temporary bed, alone. His Pokémon were all playing outside, whilst he sat there, thinking about his childhood. There came a knock at his door.
"Come in," he whispered, hoping it wasn't Serena. To his luck, it was. "What?" He groaned. His face was red, eyes puffy and tear marks stained his face.
"I'm just coming to tell you something that Ash told me," she replied. Her eyes showed no traced of dishonesty.
"Go on," He mumbled.
"He said that you are a jerk, he hates you and he never wants to see you again. He also said that the only reason he's still in this building is so that Bonnie can see the Pokémon here." She said with a smile.
"No he didn't!" Gary yelled, jumping up onto his feet. His eyes started to tear again.
"Believe what you want. Everyone here thinks you're worthless. Who cares who you are? No one! That's who! All you care about is yourself! 'Hi, I'm Gary Oak! I'm a Dickhead who uses his status as Professor Oaks grandson to get what he wants!' No one wants you here Gary! You're just a waist of space!" she yelled at him.
"Shut up, shut up, shut up! He yelled back. His face was covered in fresh tears. Serena on the other hand, was smiling with the widest smile possible. They stood in silence for a few seconds. She walked over to him, and he walked back towards the wall. He stepped back until he was against the wall, and she was in front of him.
"You should've died instead of your parents," she whispered into his ear, right before kissing him. He tried to push her off, but she pinned his arms to the wall. More tears than before were now running down his face. Once she pulled away, he broke down. She released his arms and he collapsed to the floor.
"The 'Gary Oak', on the floor, broken, because of me, such an achievement if I do say so," she giggled. He got to his feet as fast as he could and ran out the door. That.. that was my first kiss.
"Gary!" He heard someone yell from behind him.
Hope you enjoyed, sorry it took so long.
