A New Power For Breeze
Breeze looked as if he was frozen in place.
"Breeze! No!" Jade called.
"Breeze! Dodge that attack!" Slam called.
Breeze just stood where he was.
"Must... protect... Dame... Skyla..." Breeze yawned.
Slam looked at Jade, "What are we going to do about Breeze?" he asked.
"Well, he's frozen in place, but he can still see and hear us." Jade told Slam.
Slam looked uncertain.
"And what good is that going to do?" Slam asked Jade skeptically.
Jade pulled out a pocket watch with a silver chain, "Trust me, Slam." she said.
"Okay." Slam said to Jade.
Slam watched on as Jade started swinging the watch back and forth like a pendulum, hypnotizing Breeze in the process.
"I know you are exhausted," Jade said to Breeze in a calm voice. "but you need to channel your exhaustion positively so you can battle Sky Clone and get stronger."
"I... must... channel... my... exhaustion... positively... so... I... can... battle... Sky... Clone... and... get... stronger..." Breeze said in a breathless tone of voice.
Jade snapped her fingers causing Breeze to forget all about how exhausted he was feeling.
"Wow! I've never felt this alive! Thank you, Jade!" Breeze exclaimed.
"You're welcome, Breeze." Jade said shyly.
Slam saw Sky Clone's horrorcanes heading straight for Breeze.
"Watch out! You have horrorcanes' coming in." Slam called to Breeze.
"Thanks, Slam, I've got this!" Breeze called back.
Breeze then used his mind to manipulate the emotion of fear and instill it in the horrorcanes, causing them to flee.
"Get back here!" Sky Clone shouted at his horrorcanes.
"I wouldn't upset Breeze if I were you!" Slam threatened Sky Clone.
"What's he going to do? Throw a tantrum?" Sky Clone mocked.
Slam turned to Breeze, "Show these losers to the door!" he shouted.
"With pleasure." Breeze said to Slam.
Breeze used his mind to turn his heartache and worry into enough determination to defeat Sky Clone and his horrorcane.
"No way! I'm not going out like this," Sky Clone vowed seriously. "you haven't seen the last of me!"
