lastly, I own nothing at all not the hunger games and i can't say i own the ideas because some of it was probably inspired by stories i've read so now that that is covered enjoy the story (hopefully)

"What?" Cato asked.

"I don't know what it is but every time that girl gets closed to anybody they disappear and then they show up dead a few days later."

"It has to be a coincidence" Cato mumbles.

"No that girl is dangerous." The nurse stated matter of factly.

"I know that but can you prove that she's the one killing the people?"

"No but who else would be? That girl is psycho"

"I agree with you there" Cato chuckled.

"Oh and poor Jonathan, I thought she might actually of decided to have a friend in that one, but not he's gone like the others."

"Who's Jonathan?" Cato asked. The nurse paused giving Cato a timid look, appearing to be contemplating whether or not to tell him. Finally she sighed heavily, nodded once and motioned to the patient chair which Cato proceeded to sit but in, waiting for the story. The nurse sighed again.

"Jonathan was a nice boy, very talented, one of the only people in this centre that came even remotely close to being able to keep up with Clove. He was nowhere near as good as her and she could have killed him in a heartbeat mind you but he was talented none the less. But Jonathan was a foolish boy, unfocused on his path, he liked to joke around and play much more than is acceptable here, he was much more suited for district one I think, you know? A career but not a serious as everyone here. But he was such a sweet boy and oh the affect he had on that girl, you see the time that they knew each other was the only time I've ever seen that girl genuinely smile not that 'I'm going to kill you' smirk. He used to joke around with her and they'd scrimmage and not even really try to beat each other they would just have fun. Mind you Clove was still terrifying and they only ever spoke to each other about 30 minutes a day, the rest of the time Clove was focused on her knifes, much how she is right now. Then one day they both disappeared, five days later Clove came back, and Jonathan never did. His body was discovered a week later, nearly unrecognisable, knife marks everywhere. That was the worst kill yet. But don't mention him, he's still a sore subject with everyone around here." The nurse finished.

Cato nodded dumb founded. Was that true? Clove could get that close to someone, then mercilessly kill them? Of course she could, she was clove after all, it was probably all an act anyway, he thought to himself. Cato nodded to the nurse and stood up, he offered her a small nod then made his way out of the room. He felt like he was missing something. There had to be another part of the story, Clove had spared his life and he had disrespected her, belittled her and attacked her and still she let him go without even a second thought. That Jonathan kid had to of stood in front of her dummy of said something really bad or something to get her to kill him right? But then again it was Clove, her temper was bad, her blood lust was high and her mood swings were many, quite frankly that girl was capable of anything. Besides what's another kill to her kill list anyway, the last he heard the estimated number was between 16 and 26. He thought 26 was an exaggerated number but then the images of her killing the trainer without even blinking an eye flashed through his head and her words bounced around his skull, "Technically I've had five, they keep having to replace the ones who don't make it" and he shudders. It is definitely possible that she is at 26, it is also very possible that Johnathan was just another number on her list and that she had indeed disappeared for 5 days with him and in that five days had cut up every visible piece of flesh on the body. Come to think of it torture did sound like a Clove thing, but for some reason Cato wanted to hear it from the girl herself so he marched back over to Clove, grabbing her arm and beginning to drag her again and ignoring the whispers of "does he have a death wish?" and various other things coming from the other trainees. Clove is hissing profanities at him and trying to yank her arm away. She's just reaching for her knife when Cato decides to speak up.

"Who's Jonathan?" Clove whips her head around apparently finding some inner strength and surprising the hell out of Cato as she pins him to the wall, knife pointed at his throat and pure un adulterer fury, hatred and blood lust in her eyes, she hisses

"Who told you about him?!"
