A few weeks after the meeting with Headmaster Grimm and Queen Snow White, Apple and Raven were playing a game they had invented using that rubberized apple against Briar and Cerise.
"Phew, I think appleball is going to be the next big sport," said Briar as they took a break. They were all wearing tank tops and shorts.
"You can say that again," said Faybelle as she approached them along with Cedar.
"Hey, what are you two doing here?" asked Briar before kissing Faybelle. Cerise kissed Cedar after the wooden girl had reached her.
"Figured we would come and see how things are going, and it looked like you were having fun," said Cedar.
"Would you two want to join?" asked Raven while spinning the appleball on the tip of her finger.
"Sure," said the two.
