Author's note: This story is just for fun, but part of the reason I did it was because of the LoliRock season 2 cliffhanger, and nobody knew what had happened to Mephisto, or what Praxina was going to do to Earth

Chapter 1

Mephisto

Pit

Pit groaned and rose to his feet, with no clue about where he was

He stood in a dark cavern, with no light. He grabbed his bow, which was sitting beside him.

"Lady Palutena?" he called. But nobody called back. Pit was alone.

Just then, he heard a voice. A familiar voice….

"Pit, are you okay?" asked Palutena.

"Sort of." Pit tried to run towards the exit, but he almost fell over.

"Whoa there!" said Palutena. "Don't make yourself fall over like that! You'll hurt yourself!"

Pit took a moment to relax, and then looked around.

"The exit is blocked off," said Palutena.

"Are you serious?" asked Pit. "I don't know where it is, but I'm pretty sure it isn't closed off. And why do you sound closer?"

"Oh Pit!" said Palutena, giving a little giggle. "Relax! I'll use an arrow to guide you."

An arrow appeared in the cavern, and zipped off. Pit followed it, dodging rocks that blocked his path.

"Almost there!" said Palutena.

Pit suddenly skidded to a stop. A man was there-with some sort of item. It vanished, and the arrow did too.

"Trickery!" complained Pit. "The exit wasn't blocked off. Who are you, and why are you using Lady Palutena's voice?"

Instead of anger, the man chuckled. "I learned this spell to use other voices!" he said. "Now, shall we get into proper introductions? I am Mephisto!"

Pit wasn't sure what was going on, but he had heard enough tales. "Weren't you that Black Spell Caster that died trying to save his sister."

"I DIDN'T DIE!" shouted Mephisto.

"Ow! Sheesh! Watch your volume please!" said Pit, covering his ears.

Mephisto only grinned. "Anyways, I didn't die, I was just lost for a long time. Now, shall we battle?"

Pit held the Palutena Bow in front of him. "Of course!"

Mephisto nodded. "ATTACK!" he yelled.

Pit sent an arrow, but the Black Spell Caster somehow caught the arrow.

"How?" the angel asked.

"Practice!" said Mephisto, smirking.

"That's not cool!" said Pit. "You're going down!"

"Maybe not," Mephisto said.

Pit rolled out of the way to avoid a crystal. "If you ask me, I'd say you are! Tell me, Mephisto, why did you trick me?"

"I just like a little fun!"

Pit was pretty sure that was a lie. "There's got to be more to the story than you said."

"Nope!" Mephisto said. "True. Besides, it's no fun if you have nobody to battle."

"True, but that's for a bad person. And in the name of Palutena, the goddess of light, I will defeat you!" said Pit. "You've never met me, so you don't know what's going to happen." To prove his point, he rolled under Mephisto's legs, and sent an arrow. That stunned the Black Crystal Caster, so Pit turned the Palutena bow into two blades, and knocked Mephisto down.

"YEEOWWCH!" said Mephisto. "I think it's time you've learned your lesson."

"Never!" said Pit, running around. "Try to catch me! See if you do, Mephisto. This is what you get for trying to attack a servant of Palutena." In the process, he attached his blades, to get his bow back.

Mephisto sood up, and a single crystal hit Pit. The crystal vanished, but the Palutena Bow clattered to the ground.

Pit started to feel dizzy. He gave one last cry-a sign of help-then blacked out.
