Chapter 11

The Underworld Army

Viridi

After the mess of Carissa's backfired spell, the friends were out on a walk-but they saw something.

"Who's that?" asked Dark Pit, pointing towards a figure in the distance.

Palutena and Viridi both squinted, then…..

"Hades?!" said Palutena.

"Who's Hades?" the Princesses chorused.

"The true leader of the Underworld," explained Palutena.

Viridi was annoyed. "Doesn't he ever get tired of stalking us?"

"Doesn't look like it," said Dark Pit.

"Hello, Pitty Pat! You too, pretty Palutena," Hades called.

"And he doesn't call me or Dark Pit? That's just mean. How dare he," grumbled Viridi.

"Actually, I think you should be glad. Hades could call Dark Pit Pittooey, and trust me, you wouldn't want that," replied Palutena. Then, in an imitation of Dark Pit's voice, she said, "Don't call me that. That's even worse than Pittoo."

"I don't think I'll be saying that," said Dark Pit.

"Have Hades call you Pittooey then, and see what happens!" said Palutena.

"I'd rather not," said Dark Pit.

"Guys, look!" said Viridi.

Monoeyes flew straight at the group.

"Let's go!" the friends yelled.

Dark Pit and Pit attacked the Monoeyes pretty easily.

Viridi cleared off a row of Shenums before they hurt anybody.

"I have no love for those awful snake creatures," she said.

"Are they poisonous or something?" asked Talia. "I mean, they're kinda cute!"

Viridi smirked. "That's what Pit would say. Anyways, yes, they are poisonous."

"I take the cute part back, then."

"No worries!"

The two launched at rows of Shenums.

Talia barely avoided a bit. "Whoa! They're fast!" she said.

"Don't let them bite you, though!" Viridi warned.

*Time skip to Hades' defeat*

All right! Viridi thought. "Finishing blow!" she yelled.

They all charged-and at that point, Hades was done for.

"OWWW!" he yelled, as he faded away, with the Underworld Army vanishing too. Soon, all that was left of the Lord of the Underworld was a few ashes that vanished from sight.

"That was a relief," said Viridi.

Everyone nodded, then headed out to the path, to do some more fun things.
