Chapter 14
Magical Moments
Iris
Iris looked out the window of her bedroom, remembering her fun moments, with Pit, Palutena, Dark Pit, and Viridi. Like when they first met, saving Dark Pit, having some fierce battles-things like that.
There was a gentle tap on her shoulder.
"What is it?" asked Iris.
"Izira and Pit returned," said Talia. "Also, we fixed the argument problem."
"Seriously?"
Talia nodded.
*Skip to the nighttime*
Iris heard a voice.
It was tempting, and she fell into a magical world. A voice spoke to her.
"Princess of Ephedia, you have to listen. You have duties ahead of you! You must-"
"Iris!" somebody said.
Iris glanced over. There stood Palutena.
"Sorry," said the goddess. "I didn't get what was going on. Try again."
Iris concentrated, and the world came back.
"Princess of Ephedia, you have to listen!" said the voice. "You have duties ahead of you. You must protect the goddess of light. There is a Chaos Kin replica, made by the twins. Palutena doesn't want this. I beg you, protect her!"
"Is this a trick?" Iris asked.
"No, it is not, and you have to listen closely. The twins are serving up many bad attacks. You must defeat them before the attacks get worse!"
"What? Did you just say…"
"I cannot say any more," said the voice.
Iris was alone. She crawled into bed.
She would tell Izira, alone, about what the voice had said.
The thought comforted her, and she fell asleep. Peace for the night!
