March.16.1997

I'd never thought I would see him again. His tall well sculpted body covered in the burns from his home. His black majestic demonic wings gracefully covering his broad shoulders. His black shaggy hair still seemed to fit his face perfectly. He was one of the most beautiful monsters I had ever seen. I knew it was wrong but it just felt so right. My breath hitched once he got closer to me. I was supposed to be scared of him…in fact he was there to kill me. I couldn't read him and that's what worried me the most. Both of us stood in silence. Every step he took forward I took a step back. He growled,

"Don't make this harder than this needs to be Sandra." My eyes filled with tears and my heart began to pound uncontrollably. My hands started to glow and my love soon started to dissipate.

"Do what you must John…but I will not go down without a fight. I will do whatever is necessary to protect us." Indistinctively I put my hand over my stomach, and he gasped.

"Us?" His eyes filled with sadness as he dropped to his knees. I didn't leave my spot but my heart yearned for him. Our eyes met and in an instant, he knew what I meant. A monster of the royal blood had created life with a mutant…

Blossom sighed as she closed the journal that once belonged to her mother. She missed her more and more everyday since the day she disappeared 11 years ago. She quickly slipped the book back into her small satchel, bringing it closer to her body as she stood in the small corner of the bus. She lifted up her black hoodie as she hid her bright auburn hair underneath it. Taking the human bus was the only way she could fit in without being spotted. The bus itself was worn down and hobbled, but you couldn't expect anything less from the lowest class. Human kind was under the rule of Monsters and Mutants all over the world. Monsters ruled the Northern Hemisphere while Mutants ruled the Southern hemisphere. To this day monsters and mutants hated each other, always trying to invade the others territory but alas they always ended in deadlock resulting in the division of the earth. In this world Humans were the lowest of the totem pole. They became only good for one of three things, manual labor, pets or food. Those who did not comply were basically left to die in concentration camp prisons. She sighed as the bus halted to her stop, quickly running off the bus, she headed down to the dirt road leading towards the small building that she called her home for the past 5 years. Making sure she wasn't followed; she took the long route to her front door. Finally reaching her destination, she turned the key in and walked up the broken steps as she was careful not to twist her ankle. She reached at her apartment door and walked inside making sure to lock the door behind her. She sighed a breath of relief upon seeing her two younger sisters inside. Blossom walked to the small couch they shared as her sisters were cuddled up in one another. She almost didn't want to wake them up. She slowly touched Buttercup's shoulders; her eyes fluttered open.

"Blossom?" The auburn hair beauty pulled down her hoodie and nodded as she sat next to her sister as she leaned up. Her emerald eyes meeting her sisters bright pink ones.

"How was work?" Blossom shrugged as she leaned back.

"It's getting harder and harder these days to stay out of trouble. They keep taking more and more humans...more to the prisons than anything else...I feel compelled to help, but if I use my powers…" She slowly drifted into silence. Blossom and her sisters took up residency in the Southern Hemisphere where she was able to mask herself on the streets each day by taking up a simple cleaning job for The Factory. A place where no human ever wants to end up, where Mutants come to find their servants or their prisoners. Bubbles began to stir in her sleep, her baby blue eyes fluttering open as she heard her older sisters voice.

"Well why don't you just quit? I mean Blossom your so worried about getting exposed you wont even let Bubbles and I get jobs." Blossom pinched the bridge of her nose; she was tired of having the same argument.

"Buttercup…I can barely mask myself. I can not worry about you and Bubbles as well. This job is the only thing that keeps us from being completely on the streets and into the gutters." Buttercup huffed

"I know…it's just… I don't know. I feel like we should be doing more." Blossom stared at her stubborn strong headed sister. Her ebony bob styled hair gently caressing her face.

"You know are kind is forbidden…I don't know what I'd do if they found out that we had both mutant and monster blood running through our veins…we don't know how they would react. They might even separate us…or worse…" Bubbles yawned as she sat up listening to the same conversation, they had almost every night.

"It's just safer this way…" Bubbles looked at her older siblings.

"As long as were together…I don't mind living in the gutter." Both her sisters looked at her and smiled. All three sat on the couch just enjoying each other's embrace. Blossom was the first to break the silence

"Listen here…don't forget you guys are coming with me to the factory tomorrow." Bubbles raised a brow,

"First she doesn't want us leaving, now she wants us at the one place that she doesn't want us to work at." Buttercup snickered,

"Bubbles totally ponned you." Blossom rolled her eyes,

"Listen the employees are supposed to bring in any family members that might live with them, in order to get the year ends bonus." Buttercup huffed,

"Lord knows we need the money." Blossom rolled her eyes,

"Just remember to get up on time…no way I can be late for work." Bubbles shrugged her shoulders

"It's not me you have to worry about…" Buttercup stuck her tongue out at her annoying sister. Blossom smiled as she watched her sister's bicker. They were truly one of a kind.

He tapped his hands impatiently. His patience wearing thin. Here he was…sitting in the War room, waiting EVER so patiently for this meeting to start. He growled and slammed his fist on the table. He was a man…correction a monkey that shouldn't be tried. His giant brain growing a larger headache as he felt his presence wasn't being taken serious enough.

"IF that over grown crab doesn't show his face SOON! I swear to…" The monkey was calmed by a touch on his shoulder. He looked up to see his eldest daughter looking down at him. Her magenta eyes looking into his black ones.

"Dad please…your starting to make the chairs shake." The primate turned his head to see the metal chairs in the room indeed started to shake. He took a deep breath and settled back into the chair. The girl slowly walked back to her place behind her father and next to her other two sisters. Her messy apricot colored hair swinging back and forth until she put it into a low ponytail.

"What the hell Berserk?" Berserk rose a brow at her youngest sister Brat, who seemed to be inheriting her father's attitude. The bleach blonde crossed her arms in front of her well-developed chest as her artic blue eyes started to turn a darker shade.

"Dad has every right to be annoyed. I mean come on the least they can do is show up on time. I've got better places to be." As habit, she started to twist at her pigtails. She growled once she heard her older sister Brute snort.

"Oh puh-lease, I bet Boyfriend number 7 just doesn't know what to do without you." Brat growled at her sister Brute. The raven-haired beauty chuckled as her lime green eyes shone with anticipation…itching for a fight. Irritated by his children's bickering he snapped,

"Girls please! You are giving me much more of a headache then needed!" All three huffed but stood in compliance with their father. The three of them turn their heads as they watched their father's security team in the back. Brat was the first to break the silence

"Remind me why we brought them in here daddy?" He groaned,

"Because I don't trust that Snake of a monster…" Before he could finish his sentence the doors to the war room burst open, and he immediately jumped up and growled, his daughters right behind him. In walked a demon like man. His red skin and sinister smile lurked as his once crab claws turned into hands. His abnormally tall and welt-built figure draped with a black cape over his shoulders. Behind him was a beautiful woman with pale skin and curly orange hair that covered only a majority of her face, but not enough to cover the gills on her neck. Her well sculpted hour glass figure was high lighted by her red suit. The skirt stopping right under her ass, making any man drool. She strode in confidently as she held a clipboard tightly to her chest. Walking in behind her closer to the shadows are what looked to be three young men. All three were welt built, with eight packs and a height of 6'1". In the middle stood a young man with tiger orange hair placed messily under his red cap. His ruby red eyes scanning the room they were in, his attentive demeanor lingering over him as he folded his arms across his chest, causing his plain red v neck shirt to look even tighter on his body then it already was. Next to him stood another young man who looked exactly like him, granted he was a little more defined. He had emerald green eyes and black shaggy hair. He blew a huff of air once he stepped into the room, he didn't really wanna be here but he knew it was important so he had to suck it up. To be honest he would rather be going and causing some trouble, banging some broads or even cruising out on the town. His eyes wandered over to Brute and he let a smirk hang on his lips, it didn't go unnoticed that she smiled back. On the other side of the redhead was another young man with a blue fitted sweater. His blonde hair neatly but carelessly placed to frame his face. He was slightly more handsome then the others, and that might have been because of his mesmerizing blue oceanic eyes. He gave no reaction once he walked in, all he did was place his hands in his sweater pockets and dead panned the entire room. The man in front of the entire parade handed his cape to the woman and sat down in the seat across from the monkey. The Cheshire smiled never leaving his face,

"Mojo I'm so glad you can make it!" Mojo snarled,

"You're lucky I even have the decency to show up on time…HIM." The demonic man known as HIM chuckled,

"Oh, you absolutely must forgive my tardiness! Being Lord of all Monsters AND the King of the Vampires does make my schedule a bit hectic… I mean you understand, don't you? Being the Lord of the Mutants and all…" HIM smile grew larger as he could see he was getting under Mojo's skin. The primate snarled,

"Why am I here." HIM sighed,

"It's always business with you isn't it but very well…we have a problem with containment. It has come to my attention that you are holding some monsters in your mutant prisons." Mojo huffed,

"Once ANY monster crosses the southern hemisphere border all bets are off…if they are caught breaking any of our laws then they end up in prison." HIM tilted his head,

"Well yes that is very true…but there is a disturbing large number of deaths in those said prisons…" Now it was Mojo's turn to smile,

"What happens in those prisons are none of my concern." HIM's smile dropped

"You do not want to start up this war again Mojo." Mojo snarled,

"You have some NERVE calling this meeting just to tell me how I should run my kingdom!" Both parties looked like they were going to rip each other's throats out. HIM bearing his fangs while the metal around Mojo began to move. The woman behind HIM promptly stepped forward and touched HIM's shoulder.

"If I may…we called this meeting to see if we could come to a solution. Something that could please both sides." Her mere touch seemed to calm HIM down.

"Yes…she's right…thank you Ms. Bellum. Mojo is there no compromise we can come to?" Mojo relaxed back in his chair,

"What exactly are you proposing?" HIM leaned back into his chair as well.

"Well maybe there is an alliance that we can work out…both sides can have the police force built with monsters and mutants." Mojo raised a brow,

"How will they be supervised?" HIM's smile returned as he motioned to his sons.

"I have three fine young men who are willing to watch over the different sectors if need be…" Mojo chuckled,

"My daughters are probably more trained and better equipped to handle that then they are…" He smirked once he saw the three young men growl and step forward. HIM held up his hand,

"Brick…Butch…Boomer…no need. In due time…" All three stood still, eyes not leaving Mojo.

"Then what would you like us to do Mojo?!" The primate scratched his chin.

"One of my daughters and one of your sons…each will pair up and will take control of a sector and make sure the police forces are run fairly for both Monsters and Mutants." Brick snorted,

"What if we don't want to?" Berserk raised a brow,

"Awe what's the matter Monster's aren't civilized enough to work with a Mutant?" Butch snarled, almost lunging at the redhead for speaking to his brother like that. Brick caught his brother,

"Don't even waste your breath." Brute and Brat growled. Him nodded,

"We can deal with that. Next manner of business…the Humans." The primate rolled his eyes at the mere mention of the species.

"What about them?" HIM moved his chair back,

"Our human population is depleting. They aren't producing fast enough. My people use them for more then just pets…" He hissed. Mojo raised his brow but he motioned for HIM to continue,

"We need more humans. And I know you have majority of them rotting away in your prisons. Give them to me…you don't need them as much as we do." Mojo bit the insides of his jaw, he finally had an advantage over the Lord of the Monsters. He was waiting for the day that HIM decided to just take the world for himself. Mojo knew in the back of his mind that their Monster army greatly out numbered the Mutant one. He just needed a way to even out the playing field…and this right here was his opportunity. What came next out his mouth shocked even his daughters,

"Fine. You may have more humans." HIM snarled,

"What's it gonna cost me?" Mojo smirked,

"We can come to those terms at a later date…but for now. You can come by the concentration camps and The Factory tomorrow and take which ones you like." HIM settled back in his chair a little uneasy that Mojo had come to an agreement this fast.

"Very well then…have you dealt with that little issue of the human uprising?" Mojo laughed

"My daughters have already taken care of that…let's just say it wont ever happen again." Brat smiled at the mere memory of the bloodshed that took place that day. HIM raised his hands,

"Perfect then! The feud between our two worlds remains in the dark and from public record…we don't need an uprising…" Mojo sternly looked at HIM as if signing him to be quiet. The look however didn't go unnoticed by Brick…or Berserk for that matter.

"Yes, well anyways, be at The Factory by 9 am tomorrow…and try not to be late this time." HIM giggled,

"Gladly." He watched as Mojo got up from his chair. His feet didn't touch the floor as he began to levitate towards the door, his daughters and the security detail following behind. While she was walking out Brat looked at Boomer and gave him a wink.

"Don't be a stranger." Boomer raised a brow as he and his brothers watched the backsides of each female that walked out of the war room.

"No, we won't." Butch whistled, as Brick rolled his eyes at his brother's behavior. It didn't mean he didn't steal a glance for himself. Once they left the room HIM got up and Ms. Bellum handed him his cape.

"Well thank god that is over…I can't wait to get back to the Northern hemisphere…the south is just barbaric." Brick chuckled at his father,

"Dad they have the same structure as we do." HIM shivered,

"Brick this place is barbaric…absolutely barbaric." Boomer shrugged,

"Well they are Mutants…" HIM smirked,

"Speaking of…Mojo's got a set of good-looking children there. Don't cha think?" Butch grinned at his father,

"Shame on you old man...but you ain't lying there." HIM began walking with his entourage right behind him as they started walking towards the car.

"Seriously my sons…when are you going to find your mates." All three groaned as they piled into the car with their father and his assistant. Dreading the conversation that happened countless of times before.

"Dad we aren't having this conversation again, when we find them, we'll let you know." HIM looked at each of his boys

"You guys are coming of age…" Butch sighed,

"Yes, dad we are soon to be 23 but every girl I've been with hasn't made my heart beat yet." HIM sighed, the dreaded curse of the vampire. They only way to find a vampire's mate is if their undead heart comes back to life and produces a heartbeat.

"Well soon enough I will drag every monster to our front door just to give you a heartbeat so figure it out…and fast. The royal family legacy has to be continued." Boomer chuckled at his dad. He indeed was a character in his own way.

"Well what we need now is to get back to that hotel, and get through tomorrow and get home. Your mother is going to have a fit if we stay in here any longer then needed." Brick chuckled at the mere mention of his mother Sedusa. She really wasn't one to be trifled with. Ms. Bellum cleared her throat,

"Well before I forget, besides the human pick up tomorrow. You also might want to visit those prisons Mojo has those Monsters in…you could always demand an early release. You also have a meeting with your generals once we cross back over into our borders at 4…" HIM raised his hands

"Ms. Bellum though I admire your work ethic, its needless to say I rely on it. We can discuss this in the morning." Ms. Bellum nodded as she sat silently for the rest of the ride. Butch yawned,

"Well hopefully tomorrow is better then today. Cause it was a real snooze fest if you ask me." Brick snickered,

"Luckily we didn't." Butch growled at his brother. HIM shook his head,

"Now boys I brought you with me so you can see firsthand how this meeting is run. Mojo is one annoying son of a bitch." Boomer snorted,

"Fucking hate that monkey." HIM chuckled evilly,

"Don't worry my sons…that primate won't know what hit him. When I'm through Monster kind will prevail…AND this world will be ours."
