A/N: This is it. The final battle.
I won't be doing any more disclaimers, since that's going to get boring, but the Phirium and Crystal Phirus are my only two things I own.
Chapter 23
Reset Bomb
Viridi
The final battle began when the twins showed up.
"Get ready!" growled Viridi.
They were all on a special platform that Viridi had conjured up. It would protect the group of ten from getting wiped out by the Reset Bomb she planned to hurl, but not the twins. It was her platform after all. She got to make the rules and things like that.
Mephisto started with a simple, "Explodium!"
"Crystal Colidum!" yelled Iris, which stopped the spell.
"Crystal Oblitero!" yelled Izira.
"Crystal Retrosum!" yelled Talia.
The two spells blasted the twins.
"Ow!" yelled Mephisto, standing up. Praxina glared.
Pit and Dark Pit had sneaked behind, and stunned the twins, then knocked them down. Viridi took advantage and sent a blast of magic that tangled the twins easily.
Palutena put a hand over her mouth, probably to avoid laughing. "Nice work there, you five!"
"Thank you!"
The twins started attacking.
"Crysta-Tectis!" said Auriana.
Carissa brought the Phirium out. "Crystal Phirus!" she yelled.
The Phirium set a blast of magic, which combined with Carissa's magic, sending the twins flying.
"Time?" asked Viridi.
Dark Pit nodded. "It's time."
Everyone had been ready for this, so Viridi yelled, "Reset Bomb!"
For a moment, nothing happened. Then….
A seed-like item shot down, and landed on the battle platform.
Thankfully, a shield appeared around the ten, but Viridi could hear the twins screaming.
"No!" yelled Mephisto.
When the explosion ended, everyone was back on Earth.
They were back to normal, the twins were gone, and the Phirium was still in Carissa's hands.
"We did it!" said Viridi.
Talia smiled. "Now, it's concert time!"
"Concert time?" asked Palutena.
"We're going to have to leave you afterwards," said Talia. "You've been like best friends."
"Then I know what song to do!" said Auriana.
They all smiled, and headed for the concert hall.
A/N: I think I put a spoiler in but whatever. It's second to last chapter. Can't a story writer have a little fun once in a while?
