I would just like to say that this is probably one of the hardest stories I've ever had to write. So please bear with me. I hope you guys continue to review because like I said before I thrive on reviews! Hope you enjoy!
Buttercup's POV
My eyes slowly began to flutter open. I groaned as my brain started to process where I was. My face was against something cold…I was on the floor. Precisely on what felt like a cellar floor.
What even happened?
I slowly sat up as I tried to wrap my brain around my current surroundings. I reached up to grab my head when I looked at the shackles. My eyes widened in realization.
You're a prisoner.
I tried to fix my eyes to view my surroundings. It looked to be a dink cell, a lightbulb at the top twitching away, giving me a headache.
Your sisters.
My eyes frantically went wide as my thoughts began to take on a personality of its own. I looked deeper into the cell and sighed a breath of relief as I crawled over to Blossom. She was still asleep in the corner.
"Blossom…BLOSSOM! Wake up!" She groaned. I rolled my eyes, I grabbed her shirt and started to shake her as hard as I could. She groaned and pushed my hands away.
"Buttercup…leave me alone." I narrowed my eyes,
"Yeah gee Blossom, I'll leave you alone…in a cell…to ROT!" Her eyes shot open. As she frantically looked around,
"W-where are…we?!" I groaned. As I lifted up my shackles and shook them in her face.
"I don't know?! Maybe a dungeon." Blossom started to breathe heavy, she was slowly starting to realize the predicament we were in.
"B-but we are…and they…but this...how?!...YOU!" My eyes went wide as she lunged at me.
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Thank god for the shackles on her wrist, because I'm pretty sure my sister would have killed me, granted she wasn't wrong. It doesn't mean she had the right to end my life. I wriggled free from her grip as she seemed to calm down,
"I mean what were you thinking Buttercup! Do you know how long we've been EVADING a place like this!" I groaned,
"Alright I get it! It's my fault I know! I don't know what came over me!" Blossom growled,
"That's the problem Buttercup!" I growled,
"Well sorry for having a heart Blossom! There was no way in hell I was just going to stand by and watch that woman be brutalized by the likes… of…of that sad excuse for a vampire!" Blossom glared at me,
"So, let me get this straight Buttercup…OUT of everyone you've EVER picked a fight with. YOU pick to aggravate one of the most powerful monsters on this planet. Let ALONE he's ROYALTY!" I scoffed,
"Well when you put it like that…" Blossom groaned,
"Buttercup there is no other way to put it! You let your mouth get the best of you! You put our lives in DANGER! We're trying to HIDE NOT get caught!" Blossom started to pace back and force as she was ripping me a new one. I didn't even think she had that type of lung capacity in her.
"…Not to mention you stirred some type of courage in Bubbles!? I mean…" My eyes went wide. I stood up and stopped Blossom from pacing. She glared at me; she hates when I interrupt her.
"Bubbles…Blossom where is Bubbles?" Her eyes widen in realization, as our younger sister didn't seem to be in the same room as us. She swirled her head around trying to make sense of it. I grabbed a hold of her.
"Blossom cut it out, your going to make me dizzy!" She growled as she snatched herself out of my embrace,
"I am going to end you Buttercup." I huffed,
"Yes, I know this is my fault, your going to kick my ass…can we focus on the important factor here? BUBBLES isn't here!" Blossom began to pull at her hair, ever since we were little, she's had this nervous habit of chewing on her hair. It was disgusting, but it was how she coped with stressful situations.
"Blossom please stop with the hair…it's rather disgusting." She growled at me,
"I wouldn't have to if I knew where our little sister was! FOR god sakes Buttercup grasp the situation! We are GOD knows where and our little sister might be…" I cut her off,
"Don't you say it! She's a lot stronger than we give her credit for…it's impossible…she can't be…I won't believe it…" Blossom sighed,
"I-I'm sorry Buttercup. I didn't mean to scare you…" I held back the tears that were threatening to fall down my face. Blossom and I managed to sit back down, both of us silent. Her breathing heavier than mine, I already knew what she was thinking.
"Buttercup I…" She was interrupted by the sound of the cell door opening. Both our eyes darted straight towards the door. In walked the same woman I noticed back at The Factory. She looked directly at Blossom and I, her eyes shooting daggers at us in the process.
"You will refer to me at Ms. Bellum…I am not your maid; I am not your friend, you do not speak to me unless you are spoken to, I am your boss, but more importantly…I am your warden. No human has ever pulled a stunt like the one you two did…so you will, and I mean YOU WILL make this your last mistake. Or you won't like the outcome." Blossom and I remained silent as Ms. Bellum looked us over. She scoffed,
"Humans." She then grabbed us by our shackles and pulled us towards the door, leading us down a dark hallway, we passed other doors that looked just like ours. I felt like a dog being pulled on a leash by her master. It was despicable, but I decided against the outburst since it was my outburst that got us into this mess. Ms. Bellum walked us into an elevator. So many questions going through my head as she hit a button marked level 4 on the elevator, it closed and started to move up. I noticed my sister pacing her breathing as she was just as curious as I. The doors opened and she led us to what looked to be a Judge's panel room. Red carpeting on the floor, passing a bunch of brown benches…I swear it was like being in a courtroom. Ms. Bellum led us up to a little podium and chained us to it. I growled once the door opened and in walked the three morons from the factory. Blossom glared at me and mumbled,
"Don't do it." I pressed my lips together, Ms. Bellum stood in front of us as she spoke to the boys.
"Now boys I highly think that you should reconsider…" Brick's hand went up signaling her to stop. The room went absolutely quiet no one breathing a word. Butch was the first one to speak, looking directly at me
"Do you understand where you are?" I growled not knowing whether to answer or not, I looked at both Ms. Bellum and Blossom, both their eyes giving me permission to speak
"No." Butch seemed to raise a brow. I don't know why and I didn't really care.
"A little out of character today aren't we." I growled,
"I was told to be on my best behavior." The minute I spoke Ms. Bellum snapped a look in my direction. Butch smirked,
"And here I thought they had already crushed your spirit." Before I could retort, Ms. Bellum interrupted me,
"Boys…" Brick darted his eyes towards her and she immediately shut up. Talk about intimidation. Boomer cleared his throat,
"What are your names?" Both my sister and I remained silent, Brick growled,
"It would be in your best interest to answer." I noticed Blossom tense up, her eyes narrowing a little.
"Why would you want to bother with learning two human's names?" Brick snarled, his brothers placing a hand on his chest as if to hold him back. Every time Blossom talked it seemed to cause a reaction from him, Ms. Bellum broke the silence
"For a couple of humans, you two don't seem to understand when to keep your mouth shut and when not to." Brick glared,
"Names." Blossom and I looked at each other, she nodded. I rolled my eyes.
"My name is Buttercup."
"My name is Blossom." Boomer tilted his head,
"What is your relation to Bubbles?" At the mere mention of our sister's name, indistinctively Blossom and I began to fight against the shackles
"Where is she?" I growled, Butch smirked
"I love it when you get feisty Butters." I scoffed, Blossom however didn't take her eyes off of Brick,
"Where is she." She repeated with emphasis, Brick squinted his eyes at her, saying nothing he glanced over at Ms. Bellum and nodded. Ms. Bellum walked out of the door we came in, she walked back in a few seconds later with Bubbles trailing behind her. My sister looking like she hasn't had a moment to sleep but she was ok. The breath I didn't even realize I was holding was suddenly released, Bubbles looked up and smiled as she seen us. I noticed that she had a bandage wrap around her left arm, right above her elbow. She tried to make her way over to us, but Ms. Bellum held her chains and walked past us straight to Boomer, she handed him Bubbles chains. Blossom and I stood in disbelief; Boomer cleared his throat once more.
"Now please don't make this more difficult then it needs to be…what is your relation? And don't lie…we will know." Bubbles looked at us eyes her eyes pleading, what did they do to her?
"She is our younger sister..." I turned my head as Blossom began to speak.
"I am the oldest…which means I am responsible for my sister's actions…that does not mean I won't protect them with my last breath." The room got deadly quiet, and it remained that way for the next two minutes. Brick was the first to break silence,
"This is the imperial palace, the head government for all monsters. You are now in the northern hemisphere…you are now in monster territory. You now live here." My eyes went wide
"Um sorry…is it your highness, your lord ship…sir? Yes, whatever you go by what do you mean we live here?" Blossom pinched the bridge of her nose,
"Buttercup I SWEAR sometimes it's like you don't learn." I looked at her,
"Blossom I'm very sorry for the confusion, but I believe we were just kidnapped and transported…" Blossom growled,
"Buttercup you are dangerously close to…"
"SHUT UP OR YOU WILL BE PUT BACK INTO THE DUNGEON HANGING BY YOUR TOES!" Blossom and I looked over at Ms. Bellum, whose face had turned red from anger. Blossom and I immediately shut up. Ms. Bellum huffed and looked back at Brick signaling for him to continue, he sighed
"Well like I was saying. You are in monster territory, whether or not you survive is up to you. You work for my brothers and I. You get the chance to work off your insubordination, your sister was assigned to my brother Boomer…" I shook my head,
"I don't like where this is going." Blossom growled,
"What kind of work are we talking about…" Brick matched her tone,
"You and your sisters work for me and my brothers. Around the clock day and night no matter what. Your job is whatever we say it is. Ms. Bellum will be watching over you, but ultimately your fate relies in our hands." Blossom and I stood shocked, both of us to stunned to retort, Butch smiled
"I own you Butters." I snapped back into reality
"I work for you?! No…No…NO!" Butch smile only went wider,
"Technically you work for all of us, but you're my personal property." My eyes went wide, Blossom growled looking directly at Brick,
"I'm guessing that means I work for you then." Brick smirked,
"You did seem like the brightest out of the two." Blossom narrowed her eyes,
"Where do you get off…" Brick snarled
"You should count yourself LUCKY that you and your sisters are even ALIVE after the stunt you pulled back in that factory. No human has ever dared, and here you three go running your mouths off. Don't even think for a second we won't repurpose you as monster food." Blossom closed her mouth. Brick smirked,
"Now that we've gotten through to you, you can meet your sister in your new living corridors. Ms. Bellum is going to take you to the infirmary, where you will be checked out and branded." My eyes went wide,
"Branded?!"
I groaned as my arm continued to throb. Blossom and I were pulled and prodded at in the infirmary. Giving us a thorough workup as well as drawing blood, even worse I was branded…worse than that I had a permanent burn mark with Butch's name on it. My arm still stung from the hot metal meeting my flesh. Blossom and I were taken to what seemed to be level one of this ginormous place. Basically, dragging us to a secluded wing, we were practically thrown into the room, they removed our shackles and my wrists were finally able to move around. The room itself wasn't a bad set up. It had three different beds all twin sized just for each of us, a medium sized closet, a bathroom, and a small fireplace with two chairs, the entire floor was carpeted. I took off the little scrap of sandals that I have on my feet, and was grateful to feel the softness between my toes, I didn't yet realize it but my feet were killing me. My thoughts were interrupted by Bubbles popping out of the closet,
"You guys are ok!" She squealed as she crushed Blossom and I into a hug, which was gladly returned. Blossom cupped her face,
"Are you alright? Why weren't you in the cell when we woke up?" Bubbles shrugged,
"I woke up in a different cell then you guys, they took me upstairs with no explanation…actually Boomer was the one who personally took me aside, and ran me through everything that was going on. Through the branding process and all. He didn't explain much else and that's all I know so far." I scoffed,
"So how do we escape?" Bubbles and Blossom looked at me as if I had lost my mind, I looked at them confused,
"Did I say something wrong?" Blossom shook her head,
"Buttercup just exactly HOW do you think we're escaping?! FOR CHRIST sakes we are BRANDED!" I scoffed,
"I never agreed to this…" Blossom growled,
"You didn't have to AGREE! It's not our choice anymore! This is our new life!" I crossed my arms,
"Why are you giving up so quickly?" Blossom sighed,
"Because there's nothing we can do! Buttercup…we were lucky enough to be placed together! If you have forgotten we wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't done what you did back over in the southern hemisphere!" I growled and walked past her as I sat in one of the chairs, Bubbles sighed,
"Listen Buttercup we have to make the best of this situation…it may not be one that we pictured. But all that matters is that we weren't separated." Blossom scoffed,
"Now all we have to do is survive this damn place, and hope to god they don't figure out that we aren't human." I scoffed,
"While trying not to bash their faces in." Blossom growled,
"You better not! You need to remember that you are playing human…which means you act human. Which means you are vulnerable…you have weaknesses. We aren't the superior race, we are the inferior ones. The only way we stay safe is if we stay under the radar, which means we lie about who we are…" Bubbles sighed,
"We don't even know what we are…" I huffed,
"We're different. Point, blank, period. That's what makes us special." Blossom squinted her eyes at me,
"That's what makes us targets Buttercup." The three of us stood in silence. Bubbles was the first to break silence,
"On the plus side…we've got an entire new wardrobe! I mean look at these…" I shook my head,
"Only you would be concerned about the clothes…Bubbles most of those look the same!" Bubbles pulled out what looked to be one of the uniforms. Looked like an air hostess outfit but in blue. I shook my head,
"I refuse to wear that." Bubbles duck back into the closet. You could hear her squealing,
"Well there's a magenta colored one…and a lime green one…there's also other options in here." I groaned as Blossom snickered at me. I glared at her,
"Nothing about this is funny." She crossed her arms,
"Everything about this is funny…this is your Karma." I growled at her. I suddenly felt arms wrap around me in an embrace. I looked up see her pink orbs staring into me, she kissed the top of my head and it was the most calming sensation I had felt since this mess started. Usually not a fan of the hugging, but once in a while I need it. Blossom smiled,
"And we're going to go through it together." I smiled back; Bubbles ran back out the closet
"We get to wear sneakers?!... wait what did I miss?"
Blossom's POV
My sisters and I were in the room for no more than 2 hours, before we heard Ms. Bellum's voice over the intercom, that lady was a real bitch. My sisters and I changed into our uniforms. I changed into a pair of black leggings with a regular black skin T-shirt and a small red apron that stopped right around my pelvic area. I would barely even consider it an apron. My sisters changed into the same thing except Buttercup with a green apron and Bubbles with a blue. Buttercup began to groan,
"Ugh you can see EVERYTHING in this!" I rolled my eyes. Buttercup, Bubbles and I were one of the lucky few that were blessed with what you say a supermodel body. Buttercup hates it, especially since she used to work out more then Bubbles and I, she was more defined.
"Buttercup this is better then anything we own." Buttercup stuck out her tongue. I scoffed,
"You are such a child." As if on cue Ms. Bellum walked into the room. She looked us over,
"Well looks like you aren't incompetent after all." I growled; this lady had serious issues. She motioned for us to follow her as she began to walk towards the elevator.
"You will need to have this place memorized in a week so pay attention." We hopped in the elevators she clicked the third floor. Elevator opened and we walked down a long hallway and made a hard right, there was one of the biggest kitchen's I had ever seen. It was really a kitchen for royalty. In the kitchen was Boomer sitting on the counter like a kid at a candy store, he was watching the staff members who were made up mostly of goblins and a few humans, work away in the kitchen.
"Boomer...she's here." He turned his head when Ms. Bellum shrieked his name and signaled for Bubbles to go towards him. She looked back at us and then walked towards Boomer.
"Well let's not idle." Ms. Bellum started walking as Buttercup and I followed. I glanced back at my younger sister as she was immediately surrounded by goblins as they idolized her. Boomer waved them away as he led Bubbles to the middle of the chaos in the kitchen. I faced front again as we made another right from the kitchen, we walked down a pair of stairs that led to another room. She opened the double door to reveal what looked to be a game room. A giant wrap around sofa facing away from the door with a giant flat screen TV, looked like Mario Kart on the screen. They had an extensive collection of arcade games lined up. They had a few pinball machines, an air hockey table, a foosball table…It was literally a mini Dave and Busters. On the other side of the TV was a small miniature kitchen. I'm guessing it was the snack area…figures they would stuff more shit into the room. On the couch was Butch and a guy around his age. He was well defined. He had on a purple muscle shirt and brown cargo pants. He has shady brown hair, and a purple hat that he placed backwards on his head. His eyes glued to the screen as was Butch's. Suddenly the young man jumped up from the sofa,
"ARH-WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Yeah baby!" Butch growled,
"Fucking hate werewolves." The boy grinned,
"We're the best kind of monster baby! Beat your ass, pay up." Butch rolled his eyes,
"Whatever Mitch." The young man named Mitch cocked his head and began to sniff the air, he slowly turned around. His eyes setting on the three of us, I slightly gasped when I saw his face. I was absolutely mesmerized by his eyes. They were a hypnotizing purple; it was like you can melt in his lavender colored orbs. They were just breath taking. They were just shimmering with light and excitement, he smiled.
"Butch we got company." Butch turned his head and smiled from ear to ear once he saw Buttercup.
"Butters! Yay you're here!" Buttercup growled. Ms. Bellum squinted at her,
"One mistake…" Butch waved his hand at Ms. Bellum,
"She works for me not you." Mitch walked straight up to us, he took one sniff and smirked as he looked at me. He smiled and you could see some of his fangs poking out.
"Hi." I could feel my face heat up. Butch chuckled as he grabbed Mitch by the shoulders,
"Down boy…that's Brick's new chew toy. Can't have it." Mitch's smile not leaving his face, pouted.
"Awe you guys are no fun." His eyes wandered to Ms. Bellum,
"But don't worry Sara…my heart still belongs to you." My mouth opened a little because I swear, she smiled.
"Mitch you're such a dog." He winked,
"The best kind baby." Butch rolled his eyes, his head tilted back towards Buttercup
"Well this should be fun." Buttercup growled,
"In your dreams." Ms. Bellum looked at Buttercup,
"Mind your manners girl." Buttercup rolled her eyes. Butch clapped his hands together,
"WELL, if you'll excuse us…Buttercup has some work to do." With that he grabbed her hand and pulled her into the room. I stood there shocked,
"Should I be concerned for my sister?" Ms. Bellum scoffed,
"You should be worried about not screwing up, Master Brick isn't an easy one to please." I silently followed her as we walked back down the hallway and back to the elevator, she then pushed the top floor. We got out and I was astonished at the sight before me. It was a library…one of the biggest one's I've seen so far. People were dusting off the various books that were on the shelves. I was still in awe as I blindly followed Ms. Bellum to the back of it. Her heels echoing throughout the library, she stopped abruptly as we came upon the view of Brick. His eyes not leaving from whatever book he was reading. The light above his head capturing his rather unique features, chewing away at the bottom of his lip as his brows furrowed from whatever he was reading. Ms. Bellum cleared her throat,
"Master Brick?" He looked up his expression not changing.
"You can go thank you Ms. Bellum." She nodded but glared at me but not before mouthing the words 'behave'. I scoffed; this woman has serious issues. As she left, I remained in the same spot she left me, not really knowing what to do with myself. He didn't even look me in my eyes as he continued to bang his pencil on his books, I grew rather frustrated.
"Is there anything you'd like me to do?" He stopped tapping, his eyes matching mine. His red eyes capturing my pink ones.
"Sit." I raised a brow, but hesitantly obeyed. He closed his book and sat back in his chair, my gaze matching his. He folded his arms across his chest as he just examined me. In times like this I become tempted to use my powers, but I held myself together. I didn't want to give him anymore suspicion that I suspect he already had. He tilted his head,
"I can't read your mind." My eyes widened,
"E-excuse me?" He leaned forward coming back into the light, his muscles popping out of the shirt he was wearing.
"You heard me…I can't read your mind. You know I'm a vampire, it's my ability…" I scoffed,
"It's an invasion of privacy." He smirked,
"Your avoiding my question." I remained calm,
"It wasn't a question. It was a statement. Simple. You can't read what's not there. I'm not thinking of anything." He growled,
"So, think of something," I squinted my eyes,
"No." He seem shocked that I even disobeyed him.
"What did you say to me?" I growled,
"What is it going to prove? I'm still not going to think on command that is in humane." He shook his head,
"Where do you get off thinking you can speak to me like this?" I sighed and pressed my lips together
"Granted I owe you for the compassion you showed me and my sisters, does NOT give you the right to treat me as property! Let alone change myself and my values to please you." His lips pursed as he stared at me.
"You are my property. Your values and morals go right out the window the moment you were branded." I growled,
"That doesn't give you the right to treat me like a lesser species. I show respect once it's given." At that moment in time I really believed I had over played my hand. His breath tightened and his eyes went blood red again. He got up and yanked me up with him, I yelped in the process. My face remained firm as before,
"What makes you think I won't hesitate to kill you?" I gulped,
"You would have done it already…" He bore his eyes into mine, our nose almost touching. He then released me and sat back down; he pushed a pile of books in front of me. I wasn't able to sit, my legs still trying to unfreeze themselves.
"You do know how to read right?" I huffed,
"Yes." He raised a brow,
"How?" I glared at him
"Humans aren't as incompetent as you think…I was taught at a young age." He just looked at me, I knew he didn't believe me. I knew nothing was going to stop him from finding out the truth. No matter how hard I tried to stall him.
"Well now your going to help me with a project." My brows arched, I took a look at one of the covers of the book.
"Physiology of a Monster? Mutant History? The love of a creature..." I didn't realize I was speaking out loud. Brick groaned,
"I didn't ask you to tell me what I picked, I TOLD you what your doing." I looked at him,
"What exactly am I doing then?" Brick scoffed,
"For a girl with a lot of lip you sure do pick your moments." I held my tongue
"So, research?" He smiled he showed off his toothy grim that was shining a lot brighter than before, his fangs poked out. It was rather flattering.
"I knew you were smart." I growled,
"You're going to stop insulting my intelligence." He chuckled,
"No, I'm not." I crossed my arms causing my chest to lift a little bit, didn't go unnoticed by Brick. I felt his eyes linger around my chest, my eyebrows rose
"Fine. Guess I'll just show you." He snorted,
"What do you mean?" I shrugged,
"I'll prove I'm just as smart as you Master Brick." Brick didn't say anything but he chuckled. He suddenly groaned and clutched his chest, his eyes turning its nest darkest shade. He slowly caught his breath as he sat back and looked at me. He just looked at me his face with a blank expression,
"Um…Just start with re organizing those last three shelves by authors last name…I'll tell you what to do next when I come back." He suddenly got up and walked away from the table back to the front. I huffed and groaned as I seen how large the shelves where and how much books I would have to reorganize. I looked back at where he sat and shook my head,
"Men."
No One's POV
Him strolled throughout his house passing throughout the corridors. Every other room someone bowed as he pasted, some he acknowledged, and some he walked right past. He was greeted everyday everywhere he went so it had become rather boring. He huffed as he walked around, somehow, he made his way past the kitchen. His eyes rose with interest as he saw the young blonde woman from the Factory. She was working with the kitchen staff, made up majority of monsters. To be precise goblins, one of the most irritating monsters on the planet. And yet for some reason she wasn't shaking, or cowering in fear, she wasn't even bothered. The sous chefs were talking to her, explaining what she needed to do. He watched as she just adapted to what was going on around her. He also noticed his son sitting on the countertop in the midst of the chaos. He chuckled at the youngest of his children, it reminded him of the times when they were much younger, and Boomer would sit in on the countertop in midst of all the commerce and wait for one of the staff members to sneak him a piece of what they were cooking. He watched as his son would peer glances at the girl as she was totally oblivious to it. It really did strike a curious peak in him as he watched how his sons were taking to the new staff. He stood for a few more minutes before he turned on his heels and continued walking.
"Well it's been a while since I've seen you walking through these halls by yourself." Him cocked his head as he stared at his wife.
"Well hello there Sedusa." The woman grinned from ear to ear, appreciating the tone that was in her husband's voice. She pouted,
"Why you don't sound excited to see me…even after the little gifts I went and got for us in Mumbai." Him hissed as she inched closer to him. Her long black snake like hair was calmly laid straight behind her. Her snakes slowly starting to wake. Her boobs almost screaming out of the red corset she was in, her slender yet curvaceous body, was leaning up on HIM. He couldn't help himself by grabbing her backside and giving it a hard squeeze. She couldn't help but yelp and giggle, she removed her designer shades and lowered the one bag she had in her hand. She then grabbed her husband by the back of his neck and grabbed his lips in hers. She moaned as she felt her husband explore the cavern that was her mouth, she gladly leaned into it. It turned into a make out session in the middle of their home. Sedusa pulled away and revealed her piercing green eyes and small freckles placed around her face. HIM did admit his wife was something of beauty. She had such a dark, twisted and sexy personality that just drove him insanely wild. It was her gift…those who deny her were turned to stone. She was ruthless and he loved that.
"I thought you weren't going to be home for another week?" Sedusa smirked as she gave her husband a passionate kiss.
"Well Mumbai was fun. The shopping was great, relaxation was needed…but it wasn't the same…cause my family wasn't there." Him groaned and there it was, he sighed as Sedusa looped her arm with his. She turned her head to the servants behind them and shooed them away to take the bags as she continued the stroll with her husband.
"Sedusa…" She huffed,
"Forgive me for trying to spend sometime with my family."
"We've been through this…I am sole ruler of an entire kingdom. Not one…but TWO. I barely have time to sleep around here." Sedusa groaned,
"That's why I think we should take a little get away! What's the point of being in charge if you can't manipulate your own schedule!" HIM rolled his eyes, one of the more annoying qualities of sedusa was starting to show.
"We take vacations Sedusa…" She shook her head,
"No, we take business trips! Dear god can't you see how wrapped you are in the work…" Him growled,
"That work is what has you living the life of a Royal." She snarled,
"Whatever. At least let me take the boys…" HIM shook his head,
"Highly doubt you can get the boys to do something they don't want to do…besides they have royal responsibilities to attend to." Sedusa started to hiss
"Nothing a mother can't handle…I'm starting to think your just against the idea." HIM rolled his eyes,
"Don't start your shit." Sedusa huffed,
"A little effort would be appreciated." HIM stopped walking causing Sedusa to holt in her tracks as well. He looked at her and she looked at him, guaranteed the love was still there, HIM had become quite irritated with her constant bickering. Yes, she was his first love, the queen of his kingdom, the mother to his pride and joys, but her ugly started to make an appearance too many times. Sedusa's way or no way at all. She was a dangerous woman, it's what made her so special to the King.
"What do you suppose I do?" She looked at him and pouted,
"Three days…max. All I'm asking for. Spend some time as a family." HIM groaned,
"I'll have to talk to Ms. Bellum." At the mere mention of her name, Sedusa growled. She wasn't fond of Ms. Bellum. She was the talk of the inner kingdom ever since her husband fished her out of the pacific. Oblivious between what was going on between her husband and his assistant, Sedusa had her own reasons for disliking the woman.
"No, that's ok dear…let me." HIM raised a brow as Sedusa gave him a quick peck on the cheek and rushed down the rest of the hallway. HIM just stood there as he shook his head, following the same direction his wife left he turned the opposite coroner and down a couple of steps. Finding himself right in front of the infirmary wing shaking his head.
"Women."
Sorry for the bad ending. I some how weirdly like it. Review for another chapter. Like and Comment!
