"What?"

Harry and Hazel looked horrified.

"Harry, Hazel, come on!" Remus put his hand on their shoulders, "Come on, let's go, enough!"

"He's right!" Sirius took them away, "Hazy, Harry come on, let's go home!"

"NO!" Dumbledore shouted. "Not now!"

"Dumbledore they need sleep, rest and maybe talk about this later." Remus tried to reason.

McGonagall nodded in his direction.

"No, they have to know this, now!"

It was a few minutes, Hazel, Harry, Remus, and Sirius stood in Dumbledore's office. Harry and Hazel's eyes were rimmed with dark circle.

"Dumbledore, please, we can do this later, look at them!" Remus stared at them one by one.

"No," Dumbledore said gently and turned to Hazel, "What happened?"

Hazel slowly repeated what happened. Harry interjecting every now and then.

"The wands connected?"

"The wands?"

"Same core," Hazel said. She took out her wand, which was scratched from the falls it had.

"What?" Sirius was confused,

"Their wands share the same cores!" Dumbledore pointed to the twins. "And Voldemort."

"How did you know, Hazel?" Remus asked,

"I think Hermione was reading the behavior of same core wands out loud in our dorm, or she was sleep muttering it." She explained quickly.

"You said you saw your mom, and dad!" Sirius said. It seemed he was more anxious to know that.

"They came out of Voldemort's wand, and an old man, Cedric, Bertha Jorkins," Hazel felt tired, ever inch of her body was aching. The flash of Cedric's death. Her parents they appeared and disappeared every second.

Dumbledore talked for sometime, Remus shot worried looks towards Sirius. He hadn't been around much in the summer.

"I think some sleep, and a dreamless sleep potion, Hazel, Harry!"

They nodded.

"Please stay in the hospital wing, don't return to your dormitories." Dumbledore said, "They may go home, with you, Sirius in a day or two. But at the moment they must remain in the care of Madam Pomfrey!"

Sirius Black and Remus Lupin sat opposite sides on each of the twins's bed.

"I don't..." Sirius started to say, "I don't know what the hell I have been doing?!"

Remus looked over from Harry, straight at Sirius.

"I mean, they sent me letters, and all that. Telling me something was wrong. I didn't do anything!" Sirius held his head in his hands. "I don't know what the hell I am doing with these children."

"It is not your fault, Padfoot!" Remus whispered, "This could have happened anywhere with them!"

"No, it shouldn't have!" He stood up, " They have suffered enough, why should this happen? I could have prevented it, but I didn't, I couldn't."

"Padfoot!" He shouted.

Harry shifted his side, and rolled over to the other side of the bed.

"Padfoot, this is not your fault!" He whispered again.

"I am not living up, to being a Godfather, a Guardian, Remus!" Sirius started to say, "I could have stopped this, but I didn't, I couldn't, I didn't listen to them. Both of them, They are a responsibility given to me by my best friend, and I am not up to it. I..."

"Sirius, if Voldemort wanted to take them, they could have abducted them from the house, Padfoot, try to understand." Remus tried to reason with him, "Listen to me, think about the future. They are safe, Harry and Hazel, safe and sound."

"But..."

"Many things are coming our way, Sirius, and these kids, the twins, the mark of our best friends, they are in danger, we have to protect them in the future. What is in the past is in the past. Padfoot!"

Sirius finally started to understand what he said, and sat down back on the chair, still a little angry, still a little agigated, still blaming himself a little.
