Not going to lie, it has been more than a year since I updated this.

Things came up that prevented me from writing to the best of my abilities. Work had prevented me from writing, and working as a Call Center Agent is exhausting, especially if you're working for a credit card company.

After a year, I decided to quit my work and go back to school so that I could return to writing. I am now studying law so expect me updating my stories more frequently. I'll try not to be in a hiatus for more than a year.

Change of plans a bit. I'm ending this arc of this story next chapter. I won't prolong this arc any longer, and the lemon that I've been promising would be next chapter as well. I've been rescheduling that lemon scene for quite sometime now, so I'll make sure that it would be a good one.

Sorry for those looking forward for that Lemon, but I just can't squeeze that scene in this chapter, so I'll just have that inserted in the next chapter, and I'll make sure it would be a good and long one.

So, I guess enjoy and review.

PS. I AM NOT DEAD, BABY.

The Prince of Yotsuba

Chapter 10: Okinawa Military Arc Part 5

As a magician, no one is greater than Yotsuba Maya.

As a magician, Yotsuba Maya has no equal or a rival.

Yotsuba Maya, matriarch of the Yotsuba Family, is the greatest magician in the world.

That is a title that Maya held since she was in her late teens.

Throughout the mid to the late 2060, Maya worked herself to the bone to harness, develop, and improve all of her inborn talents and skills in magic, while discovering and developing new abilities in the process. In those days, Maya was already making a name for herself.

In the late 2070s to present, there was just no one better than Maya when it comes to magic.

It does not matter what metrics or standards is used. Whether it be the traditional metrics of Interference Strength (strength of rewriting Eidos), Scale of Magic Sequences (magic tolerance), Speed (speed of magic design), or other standards such as Multi-variable Quantitative Processing Speed, Calculation Scale, or even Interference Strength, Yotsuba Maya is above and beyond any living, breathing magician in the world.

After the tragedy that befell upon her, Maya did her best to gain the strength and power to guarantee herself that she would never be defile and/or humiliated ever again.

And she succeeded, and she became the world's best magician in the process, a force of nature that has never been seen before.

Many had tried to steal that title from Maya, and all of them failed and died.

Maya was ruthless as she is skilled, and she was an advocate of killing every threat that crosses her path, tangible or intangible, immediate or otherwise.

In terms of magic, the best that most could do is lick the grime off Maya's heels, no more, no less.

In terms of magic skills, prowess, technique, and ability, Maya was just in a level of her own, a level that no one but her had reach.

And that's one of the reason why Maya loved her son.

Maya already accepted that her son would not surpass her as a magician. He was too limited to reach the pinnacle that she had reached, and his skills and abilities were in a different world than hers.

Maya made peace with the fact that her son will not surpass her.

Because, in the big picture, he does not need to surpass her.

After all, though her son operated the same as a magician, the fact remains that Tsuyoru Tatsuya, Yotsuba Tatsuya is not a magician.

He was not born to be a magician.

He was born to be something greater, something that even Maya will not be able to reach even if she spends a lifetime trying.

And that is something to take pride on.

Looking at the moon, Maya smiled as she got a glimpsed of her son's power.

"I wonder…" Maya whispered with a hint of husk in her voice. "How much blood would you spill until you allow yourself to return to me?"

Smirking, Maya reclined herself on her seat. "It doesn't matter. Just return to me. That is all that matters."

(Scene Change)

Shiba Miya and Tsuyoru Tatsuya have a good relationship.

They both trust and respect each other to a great degree.

Tatsuya respects Miya as an intellectual and acknowledges that he can learn many things from her. For Tatsuya, Miya is a treasure trove of knowledge and he is thankful that she is willing to share that knowledge with him.

Likewise, Miya respects Tatsuya for his potential and his abilities. Miya is a rare breed of magician that rose from adversity and she had seen many Magicians come and go. Among the many magicians that she had seen in her life, she had never seen anyone like Tatsuya. Miya would be the first to say that Tatsuya is limited, but from what he can already do, he was already in a level that only a handful could reach.

The scary part, Tatsuya is still growing.

And through that mutual respect, Tatsuya and Miya learned to trust each other.

Tatsuya was conditioned to trust only his mother but through his affection for Miyuki, he had learned to trust Miya. She is, after all, the mother of his beloved and he is grateful for the blessing and support that she had shown for the relationship that he had develop with Miyuki.

Similarly, Miya learned early that trust is something that should never be given outside of the family, but through her daughter's relationship to Tatsuya, a relationship that would be solidified in the future through marriage if Miya had her say, Miya is starting to trust Tatsuya to a degree that was only reserve to family.

And through this mutual trust, Miya was able to asked Tatsuya for assistance without any fear, something that is completely unlike her.

And through their mutual respect, Tatsuya readily gave his assistance without question, something that he normally does not do.

(Miya POV)

It baffles me.

The abilities that Tatsuya-kun have never fail to baffle me.

I know that he is not a normal Born-Specialist Magician. Although limited and toned down to the point of being ineffective, he can perform generic magic.

But, that is a moot point considering his innate abilities.

His innate abilities are otherworldly. There are no other words to describe his abilities.

Though he lacks actual abilities that can be classified as actual magic, his inborn abilities is so unique, it makes him an incredible one-off being.

Which makes him dangerous, incredibly so considering his fighting abilities.

I have never seen a magician that is so comfortable with his preexisting abilities that he can use them as easily as breathing.

That trait makes him a very nice acquisition for the clan.

With him as an ally, the possibilities are endless!

I looked at the creature that he had summoned, an [Astral Beast] according to Tsuyoru-san (Suzune).

Spirit-type Magic, I am not an expert on that field of magic. I never considered it as something worth looking into, but I know enough to conclude that summoning a Corporal Spirit of this caliber requires certain procedures, materials, and several powerful magicians adept in Spirit-based magic.

Tatsuya-kun forgone everything and actualized a high-level corporal spirit with a magic core of its own in a single second.

That is superb!

Although a bit terrifying.

As we flew in the sky, in a speed that surpasses every jet that I have ridden in my life, I could feel the magic being use by this [Astral Beast].

A protective layer of wind, a cocoon of wind to be exact, was wrap around this creature and all of its occupants, preventing the turbulence and air current from harming any of us.

If this creature is capable of using this kind of magic, I could not help but wonder what else this creature is capable of doing.

I could also not help myself but wonder what other creatures Tatsuya-kun can summon on a whim.

"I am not comfortable seeing Miyuki-san in that monster's embrace." My cousin interrupted my musing, much to my chagrin.

I gazed at him coldly.

I still have not forgiven him for his stupidity.

I will not forgive him anytime soon.

I looked at my daughter and Tatsuya-kun. They were sitting together on top of this [Astral Beast's] head. My daughter was comfortably sitting on Tatsuya-kun's lap, her entire body wrapped in a comforting and loving embrace of her lover.

I will allow this considering Tatsuya-kun had readily gave us his assistance.

"He won't do anything that would harm her." I am sure of that. Tatsuya-kun treats my daughter like porcelain, as if she was the most important thing in the world to him.

Which is likely. I don't know how Tatsuya-kun was brought up but I know enough of his psyche to conclude that once he imprints on someone, he would do everything in his power to keep that someone.

In a way, he is like an animal.

"Still…" Mitsugu-san trailed off as if contemplating something. "Can you kill him?" I was not surprised to hear that question.

That question is something I expected ever since I entertain the idea of inducting Tatsuya-kun in the family.

Can I kill Tsuyoru Tatsuya? I have asked that question to myself when my daughter started falling in love with him to the point that separating them had now become an absurd idea.

That boat had come and gone three years ago.

That was my answer.

The best opportunity to do away with him had already passed three years ago. The night that he healed me and gave me a second leased in life, that night was my best chance of actually beating and killing him.

Right now, I would be lucky to wound him.

"I can't." I told my cousin truthfully. That is fact. From what I saw tonight to the power that I am feeling from him, I know that I am no match against him.

Assassinating him, that is also impossible. Even with my best [Mental Interference Magic], I would not be able to kill him.

Looking at him, although he is at ease and relax while holding my daughter, he still does not have any openings that I can exploit.

Having him as an enemy would be a nightmare.

"In the right situation, I think I can take him."

I looked at Mitsugu-san as if he had grown a second head.

I never knew that he has suicidal tendencies.

He must want his wife to be windowed and his children fatherless.

"You'll be dead even before you can think of an Activation Sequence, maybe even before that." That was an opinion that I would standby. "You are not combat oriented." That is Maya's field of expertise, as well as his wife, and I am sure that Maya is the only one capable of taking Tatsuya-kun down, but even that would be a tossup.

It is a scary thought to think that someone being able to outfight Maya in combat, and that someone had not even reach his prime yet.

"I don't have to fight him." He argued and I shook my head even more.

"Assassination is not an option." Tatsuya-kun has those 'Wing-like' shields as an automatic defense and he has the ability to become intangible. "You won't be able to pierce his defenses or your bees would just fly pass him."

Mitsugu-san frowned.

Before he could speak another syllable, I cut him off. "Vanish those thoughts from your mind. He is not to be touch unless he has proven himself to be a threat." For now, as long as Miyuki-san has him wrapped around her finger, he is an asset, a temporary asset but an asset that can be acquired when the right set of circumstances are met in the future.

"He is too unstable." My cousin tried to reason with me but I just shook my head.

"That is true." No need to deny that. Tatsuya-kun's origins is still a mystery, and for us, that is unstable. "…but he is also a genius with an IQ of 320 and abilities that we cannot fathom. He is capable of seeing and analyzing Activation and Magic Sequence. Psion Count larger than both of ours combine. Combat Skills above and beyond even the most seasoned agents of our family, Maya included. His Casting Speed, from what I saw, is 0.15 seconds." Listing his abilities makes me shiver. Whoever is Tatsuya-kun's mother, knows how to raise a monster. That is an unnerving thought. "Tell me the truth. After everything that I had listed to you, in addition to his sharp instincts and abnormal reflexes, tell me if you have a chance against him in a fight."

My cousin was silence as a scowl and a frown appeared on his face.

Good, his common sense and survival instincts kicked in, finally.

"He is not to be harm because he cannot be harmed by either of us. Miyuki-san might be able to harm him in combat, but she won't, and the same could be said for Tatsuya-kun." Power and strength wise, my daughter can equal Tatsuya-kun, but not now, not yet. She needs three more years of training for her to be at the level of the current Tatsuya-kun, skill wise.

Tatsuya-kun is just more refine than her and he is a much more season combatant than her.

I should really teach my daughter how to efficiently manage and control her massive power. Like Tatsuya-kun showed, even if one has the power to perform large scale and taxing magic in quick succession, precision and control is still a valuable asset for any magician.

As Okinawa Private Hospital came to view. I whispered to my cousin, reminding him of our priority.

"We need Tatsuya-kun to keep your wife safe."

His entire body stiffened at that.

Good..

"Remember, your stupidity is the reason why Ayanami-chan is in danger." I added viciously.

That verbal jab must have hurt him deeply but I do not care.

After all, Ayanami-chan might be one of the best fighters in the Yotsuba, but she is not in any shape to fight.

That's why I am very displeased with Mitsugu-san.

He picked a fight with Equilibrium when Ayanami-chan is currently sick with cancer.

He picked a fight with an enemy when his wife is at her most vulnerable.

He picked a fight against a foreign power without alerting the family.

That is unbecoming of him, unbecoming of a Yotsuba.

(Suzune POV)

Considering his posture and the fact that his lover is on his lap, anyone who does not know my Primary would assume that he is completely relax

People with that kind of assumption regarding my Primary would be the first to die.

I don't know how Yotsuba-dono trained him, but my Primary never lets his guard down.

It's the opposite in fact.

He is always ready for battle, which is somewhat funny considering that he feels completely nothing, do the point of boredom, during combat.

I guess even he has problems overcoming his conditioning.

Still, it is bizarre.

I know my Primary, personally and professionally.

I might not know him well, but I know him enough. He is not the type to seek battle. Although he thrives in combat, he will elude battle until it becomes a necessity or unless ordered by Yotsuba-dono.

Another thing, he doesn't offer his assistance to anyone, even if there is a price or a reward. There is one person that he will absolutely obey, and aside from her, My Primary would ignore virtually every pleas and request thrown at him, regardless of how desperate.

Lastly, he dislikes using [Astral Beasts].

[Astral Beasts] are the strongest and most powerful spirits that my Primary can create, second only to his [Avatar].

Like an [Astral Body], an [Astral Beast] possesses a Psion Core, The Psion Core that the [Astral Beast] has is roughly three times the size of the one that an [Astral Body] possess.

That makes an [Astral Beasts] three time more powerful than [Astral Bodies].

If my Primary is a warship, with WMD capabilities, [Astral Bodies] are equivalent to Gunships while [Astral Bodies] are equivalent to Fighter Jets.

Fighter Jets jacked up with steroids.

Regardless, My Primary prefers using [Astral Bodies] than [Astral Beasts].

The reason?

Simple….

[Astral Bodies] might be sentient, but they do not have personalities. They are capable of thought, but only in a limited capacity.

[Astral Beasts], on the other hand, are different. Due to their large Psion Cores, they develop unique personalities, which in turn gave them emotions. Through their personalities and emotions, they gained the ability to think in an advance level, and through that, they develop humanities greatest ability for themselves.

Imagination…

Because of this, [Astral Beasts] are not just stronger and more powerful than [Astral Bodies], they are also more versatile, more effective, more useful, and a lot more dangerous.

And because of that reason, My Primary avoids using [Astral Beasts] unless it's absolutely necessary.

Even though he has to give [Astral Bodies] additional commands to give them more of versatility, which takes time and effort from his part, he is willing to make that effort.

My Primary dislikes tools that are capable of advance and complicated thoughts.

That is how he perceives the spirits that he dominates, even if they have a will of their own that he created himself and even if it is impossible for those spirits to betray him.

My Primary would not risk anything that would compromise him.

In summary, my Primary avoids unnecessary combat, will not obey anyone nor will consider any requests from anyone aside from his mother, and he will not utilize an [Astral Beast] if other options are available.

Fast forward to present, he is at the process of walking into a possible fight, at the behest of Shiba-dono, and he even summoned his [Wind Astral Beast] as a form of transportation.

Either my Primary is going soft, or his respect for Shiba-dono or love for Miyuki-san is great enough that it's making him do things that he would normally not even contemplate.

Regardless, we are still in for a long night.

At the very least, tonight has been enjoyable. If nothing else, I got to see an [Astral Beast] this evening, and fortunately, it is the wind variety.

Personalities of [Astral Beasts] are dependent on their element.

Since the day I became his Guardian, I have seen only five [Astral Beasts].

My Primary's [Wind Astral Beast] is the calmest among those five [Astral Beasts] that I have encountered, although it is prone to violent mood swings, very violent mood swings.

Tornado inducing mood swings.

Still, the elegance of his [Wind Astral Beast], which takes the form of a teal-colored Phoenix, is a sight to see, a remarkable and breathtaking image.

I could relate to the expression of awe and wonder on the faces of the Kuroba twins and Minami-san. I have the same expression whenever I see him summon and use an [Astral Beast].

Also, the unfiltered scenery above the sky, the glorious creature that carries us in the heavens, and the pure beauty of the night, everything is mesmerizing.

Unfortunately, nothing can last forever.

Five minutes later, we have arrived in the desired location.

My Primary is a man of his word.

Okinawa Private Hospital.

Looking at the hospital, I could not help but compare it to a Five-star hotel, but I guess that's the appeal.

"Stop." His voice was silent, but it held enough power that it became audible for all of us to hear.

The Phoenix stopped and hovered over the Hospital.

It is a scary thought that one simple order from my Primary, just a thought from him, and this Phoenix can summon a massive and destructive tornado that can unearth this hospital right off the ground.

I've seen it happen before, although the target was not a hospital. The target back then was a large skyscraper, a skyscraper that towers over a metropolitan was easily hurled upwards towards the skies by a roaring tornado, courtesy of this creature that we are riding on.

Again, scary thought from an equally scary memory.

I watched as my Primary stood to his feet. I could see that Miyuki-san was very much disappointed that his arms were no longer wrapped around her but she was mature enough to know that there are more important things to do at the moment.

That still did not stop him from holding her hand as he led her towards us.

The joy on their faces, much more evident on Miyuki-san's than my Primary's is evident.

Those two enjoy being in constant physical contact with each other. It is almost an obsession between them.

"We are here." My Primary addressed Shiba-dono courteously as he and Miyuki-san joined everyone on the back of the Phoenix.

It is refreshing that he can be polite with someone that is not his mother. He normally speaks with his mother's associates with an underlying threat in his tone of voice.

With Shiba-dono, I am glad that he can be cordial and casual.

"What now?" That's the question that needs to be answered to minimize the casualties.

When he operates, My Primary cares very little about civilian casualties.

Again, I blame that to Yotsuba-dono.

Shiba-dono and her cousin made eye contact with each other before Shiba-dono nodded her head slightly.

"After interrogating that soldier…" There was a slight barbaric edge in Shiba-dono's eyes. It was unnerving. "…I discovered there is also an attempt on the life of my cousin's wife."

I heard three distinct gasped coming from the twins and Miyuki-san.

My Primary looked on apathetically.

He is smart enough to know what Shiba-dono is asking for.

"Can we move her or would you like me to protect the hospital from any insurgences?"

From that inquiry, I am praying for Shiba-dono to pick the former. I have seen my Primary protect large areas before from attacks. With his eyes, nothing can escape his noticed. But without his mother's specific commands, he tends create things that should never see the light of day.

Efficiency and practicality would always be a priority for my Primary above humanity.

I do not want to see another [Witch] in my life, much less a [Demon].

"We extract her." Shiba-dono answered. "It's the safest option for everyone." She added and I breathe a sigh of relief at that answer.

Two massive silver flames erupted beside my Primary before two hooded ghosts appeared at his side. The temperature immediately plummeted.

"Go." My Primary ordered and the two ghosts swiftly flew downwards to the hospital.

They phased through the roof of the hospital, and pity immediately rose within me.

Any untrained and inexperience magicians would find being in close proximity of those ghosts to be torture. I know that from experience.

[Ghost] is comprise of viral spirits that can act as natural deterrent for magicians. [Ghost] can scramble both magic and activation sequence and not to mention, it disrupts the Psion in a magicians body.

My Primary can create hundreds of those creatures.

"What are those?" Mitsugu-san inquired a bit testily.

"Scouts." My Primary answered, using a voice that he normally reserves to those that he considers insignificant.

That said, he doesn't need scouts, not from this distance. Without any effort, using his Elemental Eyes, he can see up to 2 kilometers. With effort, I don't know the limit of his range. With the use of his eyes as well, he can see through practically anything.

I know for a fact that the moment we arrived, he had already scanned everything in the hospital and made note of every threat in the facility, magical and non-magical, human or otherwise.

So those Ghosts aren't scouts.

No, those Ghosts are instruments of disrupting any form of magical fields in the Hospital.

Which begs the question, why does a Hospital needs a magical field?

"You are thinking too much again." My musing was interrupted due to the voice of my Primary.

I glanced at him and he stared at me with his near soulless eyes.

"There are times for you to think, and this is not one of those."

Harsh, but I nodded nonetheless. It's always like this. During a missions or operations, his rules, his methods.

It kept me alive for this long, and I've been in situations where no ordinary magician should have survived.

(Miya POV)

"There are times for you to think, and this is not one of those."

Normally, as a female, those words would offend me.

But I know Tatsuya-kun.

He is not a sexist.

He does not care about gender, just the abilities and skills that a person possesses.

And by the looks that Suzune-san was making, it seems that she was contemplating on things that would have compromised whatever Tatsuya-kun is planning.

His plans is now tied to the life of my friend, so less distraction the better.

"If I may ask…" Tatsuya-kun addressed me after that brief exchange with his cousin. I looked at his direction, only to see him make a simple waving gesture.

A miniscule panel of silver flames appeared in front of me.

I did not panic though.

He won't hurt me.

I am too important to my daughter for him to even entertain the thought.

It was fascinating though, looking at the flame that he erected.

Instead of seeing the pure glistening flames that were able to block high velocity bullets, what I am seeing is the room that was occupied by my friend.

It was luxurious, which is quite predictable considering Mitsugu-san's quirks.

"…is this the wife of your cousin?" The inquiry caused a stir in everyone within hearing range.

Everyone was now looking at the panel that Tatsuya-kun conjured.

The appearance of a woman with flawless alabaster-white skin and long, rich black hair with a noticeably grey outline fell past her slim waist appeared on the flaming panel. Her beauty was impeccable, regardless of her rather sickly appearance and the mundane hospital gown that she was currently wearing.

A beauty befitting that of a woman that was inducted into the Yotsuba.

"How did you…" I silence my cousin with a glare. I do not like that tone that he is using while speaking with Tatsuya-kun.

But the question was already up in the air, and Tatsuya-kun answered to sate everyone's curiosity.

"That woman is the only one in the Hospital that resembles the [Magic Signatures] of those two." Tatsuya-kun answered while pointing at the twins. "[Magic Signature] is similar to that of a pheromone release by animals to distinguish themselves from other animals. It doesn't have any practical uses but it's helpful in profiling magicians."

He looked at Fumiya-kun and Ayanami-san with eyes that can be compare to a predator. "All magicians have distinct and unique [Magic Signature]. No signature is the same, no magician will have the same [Magic Signatures] as another magician. That being said, a [Magic Signature] can resemble another [Magic Signature]. They won't be a complete match, but there would be similarities, enough for me to distinguish genetic ties 95 percent a time."

There are times that even I forget that there are depths that have yet to be discover when it comes to magic.

This is the first time I heard of [Magic Signatures].

"That is an interesting skill to have." My Guardian commented.

"I was trained to hunt down magicians. Knowing how to differentiate one magician from a crowd helps in snipping them down. It also helps me in profiling genetic relationships between one person to another."

That is not a comforting thought. He's basically saying that if he wanted to, he can eradicate an entire bloodline by just identifying one person from said bloodline.

That is an unnerving thought.

"Back to the topic at hand, who is that guy entering the room?" Tatsuya-kun's inquiry caught everyone's attention once again. All our eyes returned back to the panel that Tatsuya-kun conjured, and truth be told, there a man wearing a lab coat entering the room.

Said man was holding a syringe and half his face was covered with a medical mask.

"Russians enjoy staging fake heart attacks when their targets are confined in a hospital. That's their signature and most of the time, it is less inconspicuous." Tatsuya-kun mentioned offhandedly. "There are nine places professional killers will use to deliver an injection to make a murder look like a heart attack, and that man is also currently holding a syringe with Anthracyclines. The dosage should be enough to induced heart failure."

I should hand it to Tatsuya-kun mother's in raising him. He sounds so apathetic when explaining murder and death, it is almost laughable.

Almost.

"That is not my wife's doctor." There was panic in Mitsugu-san's voice now that what Tatsuya-kun divulged suddenly became the forefront thought in our minds.

"Neutralizing..." I swear, sometimes Tatsuya-kun's voiced sounds like a drawled.

Tatsuya-kun snapped his fingers, and one of those hooded figures emerged from the ground and slammed the man holding the syringe to the ceiling.

Ayanami-chan, who was reading a book on her bed, looked at the sudden activity that took place in her room, hand already reaching for her CAD.

The door of her room was suddenly kicked open and two more agents entered the room, guns ready to fire.

Tatsuya-kun was faster.

Thrusting his hands forward, half his arm disappeared from sight, only to appear in the room of my dear friend, piercing the chest of one of the Russians agents.

His hand was holding a beating heart.

"Disgusting." Tatsuya-kun muttered before crushing the heart that was on the palm of his hand.

The second hooded spectral that he summoned earlier appeared behind the stunned gunman and was promptly pinned down hard on the floor.

That entire sequence, took two seconds.

Tatsuya-kun made a pulling motion, and his entire right arm was now in complete view of everyone.

Half of his arm was covered in blood and his entire hand was drench in it.

He was also holding a crush organ in his right palm.

Normally, that would be both a disgusting and horrendous sight.

The disturbed and frightful looked on the twin's and Minami-san's faces are reactions that is understandable.

Understandable, not acceptable considering their stature.

I am somewhat prideful that my daughter did not look very bothered; although, that is probably a testament on how far their relationship has gone.

"Tatsuya-kun, your arm." Miyuki-san whispered worriedly.

"Don't worry, it is just a stain." Tatsuya-kun stated casually as he gazed at his blood-covered arm. "Suzune…"

"On it." My gazed shifted to Suzune-san as she prepared to remove the bloodstains from his arm, but someone else interrupted her.

"I'll do it." My daughter announced, CAD already out and ready. A pulsed of magic from her and Tatsuya-kun's blood covered arm was clean and pristine once again.

There was a brief moment when Suzune-san and Miyuki-san exchange looks that was far from cordial but I pushed that thought to the back of my mind.

The relationship between my daughter and Tatsuya-kun is already iron clad. Suzune-san liking him that surpasses familial level is of no concern.

"Can you get us in the room?" I inquired as I scanned the room from the 'screen' that Tatsuya-kun created.

"A moment." Tatsuya-kun lifted both of his arms before stretching his fingers outwards. With an opening motion, a rift in the space in front of Tatsuya-kun appeared before us all.

My gazed shifted from the panel towards spatial rift that Tatsuya-kun created.

My eyes met the startled eyes of my dear friend.

This will take some time to explain.

Time that we may not have.

(Miyuki POV)

I watched my beloved walked into the hospital room of Ayanami-Obaachan from the 'gate', yes let's call it gate for now, that he created.

He casually waltzes into the room, as if nothing was wrong.

And with him, that is probably the case.

"End them already." I heard my beloved whisper and two distinct sound of bones snapping echoed in the room.

His voiced was cold, and a part of me like this coldness.

"Those were yours." Ayanami-Obaachan inquired curiously, although her tone was a bit weary and leery.

"They were mine." Tatsuya-kun answered with a shrugged. "I will highly advised you not to draw that CAD. I am not a threat, unless you make me one." Truth be told, like my beloved said, her hand was on her CAD.

I watched curiously, as Obaachan looked at my beloved intently, before releasing the hold on her CAD.

"Good judgment." My beloved complimented before walking towards the gateway that he had created. "Miyuki-hime." I smiled at the soft tone of my beloved. My name in his lips always sounded right.

He offered me a hand and I grasped it as tightly as I could. His hands felt absolutely right on mine. I relished the feeling of his touch as he gently pulled me into the room.

I kissed his cheeks to show my thanks and I was rewarded by soft smile from him.

I couldn't help but giggle a bit at how adorable his smiles could be.

"You never mentioned that you already have boyfriend, Miyuki-chan." I looked at my aunt and was greeted by a teasing smile. "Who is the lucky guy?"

"Tsuyoru Tatsuya." Tatsuya-kun introduced himself with his usual emotionless voice, reverting back to the way he speaks with people.

Ayanami-Obaachan looked at the back of my beloved curiously, and I already know the question that is about to be asked so I immediately gave the answer.

"That is his normal tone of voice. You'll get used to it." Of course, his tone of voice with me is much warmer, but that is mine, no one else will be address with that tone but me.

Ayanami-Obaachan just nodded, as if her curiosity was already sated.

"You choose a very dangerous boy." Ayanami-Obaachan was always a straightforward person, and I liked that about her.

She's my favorite aunt because of that trait.

I smiled at her as I held on to the free hand of my beloved. "I won't have him any other way." I replied truthfully.

I giggled when I felt my beloved tense slightly before his lips touch the crown of my head.

He is so affectionate!

It is so adorable!

"You approved of this, Miya-chan?" Ayanami-Obaachan inquired while gazing at Okaa-sama who just entered the room via my beloved's gate

"Yes,"

Okaa-sama was assisted into the room by both Honami-san and Tatsuya-kun, and Okaa-sama walked towards Baachan without any delays.

"You're looking well, Nami-chan." Okaa-sama greeted Obaa-chan with a friendly smile.

"Please, it's me. Something as mundane as cancer won't kill me." There was a boastful laugh from Ayanami-Obaachan and it was a delight to know that she is doing well.

"Get in before the rift is closed." My lover ordered everyone as he pulled both Suzune-san and Honami-san into the room. He then ushered me to my mother before approaching the dead bodies littered around the room.

"MAMA…" Both Ayako-san and Fumiya-kun rushed towards their mother, whom embraced them when they were within arm's reach.

"How's my two angels?" Ayanami-Obaachan cooed at her children, although the look in her eyes told me that she suspects that they are currently not in their best emotional or mental state.

"They are not well." Tatsuya-kun injected as he collect all the dead bodies in the room and threw them towards the portal.

Before the portal closed, I could see something a kin to a whirlwind catching the dead bodies.

What happened afterwards is an unknown as the portal closed.

"They just witness mass killing so they might be a bit shaken." Tatsuya-kun informed Ayanami-Obaachan, which was confusing and delightful at the same time.

I am delighted that Tatsuya-kun has a good initial impression regarding my favorite Aunt and decided to be both polite and cordial with her. Among the adults that we interact with back at home, he is only respectful with Okaa-sama and Honami-san.

But that begs the question, why is he so polite to Obaa-chan.

I know this is the first time they met, and my boyfriend isn't one to be polite, much less respectful to the people that he had just met, so it is very confusing that he would be polite with Obaa-chan.

Regardless though, this is progress. He already dislikes Mitsugu-Ojisama and his opinion towards my cousins is still up in the air. His seemingly positive opinion towards Obaa-chan is good, very good.

I could see Obaa-chan visibly tightening her hold on her children at that information. "Who's killing spree did they witness?"

"Mine." I am going to have to speak with my beloved in the near future on not to sound so robotic when it comes to homicide. "Blame your husband. He was the one who offended those Soviet trashes, and he was incredibly unprepared for the repercussions."

I stifled a laughed when Obaa-chan gazed at Ojii-sama. Ojii-sama looked ready for the ground to swallow him whole as sweat became visible on his brow.

"You didn't…" There was an underlying threat in those two words the Obaa-chan just uttered.

"I can explain…" Mitsugu-Ojiisama said, trying to save faced in front of Obaa-chan, who can be very scary at times.

"Men normally say those words if their wives caught them cheating." Tatsuya-kun commented rather blandly.

The glare that Obaa-chan gave Ojii-sama intensified a bit and I swear, my Tatsuya-kun is enjoying this.

"Tatsuya-kun, could you please set-up a perimeter?" Okaa-sama requested, as if to give Ojii-sama some space. It seems that Okaa-sama is not that angry at Ojii-sama.

"That would be a waste of time, Miya-dono." My Tatsuya-kun replied as he drew his CAD from it's holster. "I already know the number of Russians in this facility. I'll just removed them completely from the vicinity. It'll be quicker and more convenient."

"Will that garner us any attention?" Okaa-sama seemed to not press her previous request.

My Tatsuya shook his head. "They'll be dead before they call any reinforcement. They would disappear before anyone could see them. Lastly, there won't be any traces of them after I go through with all of them."

"That's a lot of bravado considering you're going up against Equilibrium." Ayanami-Obaachan commented, eyes fixed on Tatsuya-kun.

"I don't exist." Tatsuya-kun stated, eyes meeting Obaa-chan. "I'm both a shadow and a ghost. The only thing I leave behind is statistics, and even that is rare."

An expression crossed Ayanami-Obaachan's face after that statement was uttered. I can't comprehend the emotion on her face but it was between weariness and curiosity.

There was a silent paused in the room for a brief second before Tatsuya-kun stepped forward to my side.

He gave me a chaste kiss on the lips before whispering something to my ear. "I'll be quick."

"Just return to me." That is all that matters.

Tatsuya-kun gave me a smile that is only meant for me, that is reserve only for me. "Of course." He kissed me once again before sparing Okaa-sama a glance. "Ready her to move in fifteen minutes. Every hostile will be cleared by then." He told my mother before walking several steps backwards.

"Suzune, take guard outside. After fifteen minutes, guide them downstairs to the lobby. Everything would be ready by then." Tatsuya-kun commanded and Suzune-san just nodded.

"I will see all of you in fifteen minutes." With those words, he sink through the floor beneath his feet, phasing through the concrete. In seconds, he was gone.

The two creatures that he summoned earlier also faded as he disappeared.

"Was that a legitimate Spatial-based magic?" Obaa-chan inquired with a surprised tone.

"Yes." Okaa-sama answered truthfully.

"You know, Spatial-based Magic is still experimental. The number of variables that needs to be considered to alter space is astronomical. The human mind cannot calculate or even comprehend some of those variables."

"Obaa-chan, my Tatsuya-kun is special." I boast with pride. "He can do anything he wants. His magic is amazing." I added with an assuring smile.

Obaa-chan looked at me right in the eye before giggling. "So you're that type of girl, huh?"

I looked at my Aunt in confusion at those words.

Obaa-chan laughed lightheartedly. "I'll tell you when things calms down, but for now, let's go with your boyfriend's suggestion."

"I'll stay on guard outside." Suzune-san informed us as she left the room.

"We'll join you, Suzune-chan." Honami-san and Minami-chan followed suit and followed Suzune-san out of the room.

Curiously, Ayanami-Obaachan's eyes followed Suzune-san as she made her exit.

"That girl, what's her name?" Obaa-chan inquired a bit curiously.

"That's Tsuyoru Suzune-san, she's Tatsuya-kun's cousin." I answered briefly.

"She looks familiar." Obaa-chan commented before moving on her bed until she is seating on the side of the bed. "Fumi-kun, please fetched my stuff, and Aya-chan, please get me something to wear."

"Yes, Mama," The twins replied in unison as they moved to do as their mother requested them.

Ayanami-Obaachan then looked at Okaa-sama. "Miya-chan, can we trust that monster?" I immediately frowned at the way Obaa-chan referred to my beloved.

"Yes, we can." I was happy at that positive reply.

I noticed that Ojii-sama was about to say something, and I knew it would be a slight on my beloved, so I interjected, not caring about the scolding I will get from my Okaa-sama later.

"My Tatsuya-kun won't do anything that will bring harm to us. He will not turn his back on us. He has been protecting us since those insurgences attacked us earlier and he will continue to do so." The adults in the room looked at me with critical eyes, and I did my best not to shrink at their stare.

"Miyuki-chan…" Ayanami-Obaachan spoked softly. "…do you love that boy?"

"Yes…" I gave my answered the very millisecond that question was uttered. I loved my Tatsuya, and I know that he is the one for me.

There was silence between the adults before Okaa-sama gave me a silent gesture to join the Kuroba twins.

I did so without any more comments.

(Scene Change)

When Miyuki was out of hearing range, Ayanami spoke.

"You allowed Miyuki-chan to be in a relationship with a very dangerous child, why?" Ayanami leveled with her close friend, eyes fixated on the retreating girl.

"Because my daughter adores that boy, and he adores my daughter equally." Miya stated with a straightforward tone. "I assure you, he is already ours." The confidence in Miya's voice was very telling on her investment on Tatsuya.

"When I looked at that kid, I saw my life flash before my eyes three times over." The grimness in Ayanami's voice was very unsettling. "I don't think I can take that kid out, even at full strength and health." That was a confession that Mitsugu did not want to hear.

"My love, surely you jest." Mitsugu said to his wife, his discomfort with Tatsuya showing. "That child might be quite strong, but surely you can still slay him. You are the Yotsuba's best field agent for a reason."

"And that is the very reason why I am admitting that I will not be able to kill that child, Mitsugu-koi." Ayanami addressed her husband softly. "I have seen all kinds of monsters in my life but that child is something that I have never encountered before in my life. I have nothing against that child."

"You have not seen that child fight yet." Mitsugu tried to argue, desperately trying to cling for hope.

"I don't need to see him fight to know how outmatch I am against him." That was not the reply that Mitsugu wanted to hear from his wife. Ayanami then looked at Miya right in the eye, with a look that was imploring. "Are you absolutely sure that he is as good as ours?"

"He will not betray Miyuki-san, and Miyuki-san will not betray the family." Miya answered reassuringly.

Ayanami nodded in relief. She will trust her friend with this subject. "Tell Miyuki-chan to not let that boy go. He would be an instrumental weapon for the Yotsuba in the future."

Ayanami then turned her attention to her husband. "Maya-chan did not agree with your proposal regarding Moscow. She has explicitly told you that the risk outweighs the rewards and that you should let it go. Apparently, you weren't able to."

Mitsugu looked quite ashamed at the words of his wife. When he was about to defend himself, Ayanami cut him off.

"I understand why you went through with your move, so I will stand by you when Maya-chan questions you, but I hope you would understand that I will not stop her when she decides that you require a reminder on why no one in the family disobeys her."

In the Yotsuba, there is one thing that was engraved in every family member, every associate, every servant.

Yotsuba Maya's word is law. All major or minor activities within the family that may affect the clan as a whole must be run and approve by her, no exceptions.

Without her blessings, the Yotsuba will not act.

Anyone who will act without Maya's blessings will be subject to disciplinary actions.

Mitsugu sighed in defeat.

His only prayer was that Maya would not bother to look upon this matter. It is his only chance of saving face in front of the clan that had love so much.

(Scene Change)

If you ask Tatsuya what's the best magic that he possess, he would answer his Elemental Eyes.

Decomposition is demonic.

Regrowth is a miracle.

Astral Projection is otherworldly.

But what tied all of those three abilities together is his Elemental Eyes.

Most of the magic that he can perform is due to the information that his Elemental Eyes can provide him.

For example, because of his Elemental Eyes, he was able to pinpoint every Russian in the Hospital via their [Magic Signature].

[Magic Signature] does not just allow Tatsuya to detect genetic familiarities between people, it also allows him to determine their ethnicity, to distinguish that ethnicity between people.

It was a good tool for hunting.

Currently, there were twenty Russians in the hospital.

All of them lightly armed, and they were scattered towards the area, inside and outside the hospital.

With a simple push of the trigger, he could kill them, he can decomposed them to dust before they know what hit them.

All twenty of them will perish with just a single press of a trigger.

It would have been easy.

But Tatsuya was committed in remaining invincible.

He was committed to remain a ghost, a shadow.

After all, Tatsuya may not be that prideful, but he takes pride in being an unknown.

Yotsuba Maya in the magic community is regarded as an evil entity. She had built that reputation during her days as an operative of the Yotsuba.

Often times, Yotsuba Maya was described as the evil that cast a shadow upon darkness itself.

And Tatsuya knew that he was the shadow that his mother had cast upon the world.

In a way, he took pride in that.

He also took pride of being a relatively unknown figure in the magic community.

Yes, his activities had earned him some monikers in foreign land. His mother's favorite being the Silver Ghost.

Tatsuya never cared for his epithets, but he did take pride at the fact that he never leaves a trail.

Whenever Tatsuya is task of a mission, regardless of where, he never leaves a trail, just a body count and material casualties.

His activities were never documented, and so is his identity. No surveillance pictures of him exist, and those unfortunate enough to see him did not leave to tell the tale.

As he mentioned before, the only thing he leaves behind during his missions are statistics, statistics that won't even be connected to him.

That's why he was patient.

All of them were all going to die by his hand anyway.

Tatsuya monitored all twenty Russians with his Elemental Eyes as he descended and phased through the floors slowly.

Tatsuya knew, from experience, the M.O of the New Soviet Union's Equilibrium. He knows how they operate and he used this to his advantage.

He knew, as per their M.O that the security cameras were already disable, so there was no backlash in him using Decomposition.

He also knew that those Equilibrium agents would avoid being seen by human eyes.

Tatsuya made used of that.

Every time one of the Russians moved to an area were no witness in nearby, he pulled the trigger of his CAD, and the Russian that was out of public view died, disappeared as if he didn't exist, converted to dust that cannot be traced. The pile of dust that was once a human being was immediately collected by the HAR that was task to keep the hospital clean and sanitary.

Rinse and repeat twenty times over.

The moment he reached the ground floor, all the Russians in the hospital were all incapacitated, nothing more than dust collected in a vacuum seal bag.

But he knew it was not over.

Dealing with Soviet was a strenuous task due to them not giving in until they are all eradicated; something that Tatsuya was willing to do.

Using his special eyes, Tatsuya was able to detect several vehicles about to enter the hospital's ground. With his eyes, he knew all of them were Equilibrium agents.

From his position, he could have killed all of them. The moment they were within his line of sight, they forfeited their lives.

But Tatsuya decided otherwise.

He decided that he would meet them himself.

The execution would be cleaner that way.

After all, he was not in the mood to deal with the military stationed in the island. It would be too troublesome.

As he walked towards the exit, he also decided that he would deal with all the possible witnesses in the hospital.

Normally, he would just removed all possible witnesses permanently.

But considering who he was going to escort to safety, he stayed his hand from outright execution.

He knew that Miyuki would accept him regardless of the body count that he would leave behind this evening, but for her family's sake, he would resist his urge to wipe out everything that will lay their eyes upon his existence.

With the situation at hand, Tatsuya opted to another method.

"Two in one night." Tatsuya grumbled under his breath as a black dragon slowly appeared above him. "How irritating." Reaching towards the dragon, he crushed the crystal on its neck to summon another [Astral Beast].

And this one is the darkness variety.

(Suzune POV)

'This is awkward.' I thought to myself as I stood beside Honami-san and Minami-san outside the hospital room of Miyuki-san's aunt.

This is awkward due to me standing together with two individuals that resembles each other to an almost disturbing degree, but my Primary views them in a different spectrum.

My Primary has a fondness of Honami-san. She is one of the few that my Primary will indulge humor with.

Minami-san, well, my Primary doesn't like her but tolerates her due to Miyuki-san. In my Primary's eyes, Minami-san is ill equip to be his beloved bodyguard or maid.

I can relate with Minami-san in that regard.

"Is Tatsuya-kun always like this during crisis?" Honami-san inquired curiously.

I know Honami-san's background. A former SP of the Metropolitan Police Department, and she was very skilled at her former job. She is probably a bit unnerved at how easy it is for my Primary to take lives, as if it was breathing.

His loyalty to the Shibas is beyond commendable and I know that she is only looking out for her masters, something that I can understand.

Considering that and my Primary's fondness of her, I was able to be a bit honest with her.

"More or less. He is always a result driven individual and he is always focus in efficiency." Which makes him terrifying. Normal people have conscience that makes them divert from the easiest solutions because of some ethical or moral stigma.

Tatsuya lacks that basic human trait.

For him, as long as the correct result is achieved in the most efficient way possible, he will stoop to any lows, ethics and morals be damn.

"I see." There was a tone of acceptance in Honami-san's voice. I guess she has been around my Primary enough to accept most of his quirks. "What about you, are you used to his methods?"

I have asked that question myself for some time now.

"I could see the logic behind his methods." The results speak for themselves and no one can argue with his track record of success.

"But you don't necessary agree with them." Honami-san pressed on gently, and all I can do is smile at her.

Honami-san is the best elder sister that anyone can hope for. She means well, I know that much, but the farther she is from the Yotsuba, the better.

"I am not one to question his methods, methods that have been approved by his own mother, by the Madam." My job has never been to question or to critic him.

My job, by all intents and purposes, is to obey.

"I can respect that." Honami-san stated with a small smile. "I've never seen someone fight as well as you but look so uncomfortable doing it."

"I never envision myself as a Combat Oriented Magician. I think I'm still coming to terms about fighting, but my task is to stand with Tatsuya-kun, my cousin, and my obligation…" … my loyalty "…outweighs what I want to do with my magic." I would not be a magician today without Tatsuya, without my Primary's assistance. I would not even be alive without him today.

I pledge myself to Yotsuba Maya's son a long time ago, sold my soul to the devil to stand by his side.

I do not want to fight, I am not build to fight, but for him, I will dive into any war that he would waltz towards.

That us what my loyalty dictates.

"You're a good woman, Suzune-chan." That compliment meant a lot.

"Thank you." I whispered before looking at my watch. "The area should be clear by now." Knowing my Primary, all Russians in the area were already purged.

"Are you sure?" Minami-san inquired, finally joining the conversation.

"He is much better on the hunt than defending." I told Minami-san with confidence in my voice.

The last person that you want to see going after you is My Primary. He is a cold, brutal hunter that would strike you at the jugular before you even know what hit you.

The sound of the door opening caught our attention, ending the conversation.

The Shiba family emerged from the door and their relatives followed suit. The sickly woman, who my Primary had somewhat decided to be worthy of his respect, looked at me and I fought the urged to fight the discomfort I felt from her gazed.

"No surprises?" The woman inquired to me sharply.

"No surprises." I assured her. "I'll take point." I volunteered immediately as I positioned myself on the front of the group.

This is unnecessary. The area is already clear of people that want to kill us but I understand their reasoning.

My Primary will not let anything happen to Miyuki-san, and to an extent, Shiba-dono. The rest, if My Primary deems it necessary, he would leave them for dead.

(Miyuki POV)

"Are we really going to take the elevator?" Ayanami-Obaachan questioned Suzune-san as we waited for the elevator to get to the 13th floor.

"Yes, it's the fastest way down, and considering you are weigh down by what seems like a crippling amount of drugs in your system." Suzune-san explained while looking at Ayanami-Obaachan carefully. "No disrespect."

"I understand, but I can still move even with the drugs in my system." Obaa-chan stated with confidence.

Suzune-san looked at Obaa-chan up and down before nodding. "Clearly, Kuroba-san, I can see that you are a picture of physical health, something commendable considering your illness, but I would rather get off this hospital as quick as possible before those Russians send out their drones. By my count, my cousin has put too many Russians to their graves to the point that they would just collect their losses and sent out those Anti-Magic Drones to bomb us."

What?

"You know about those?" Ayanami-Obaachan asked, though her tone was lighter than earlier.

"Russia and the USNA love their drones to the point of retardation. The billions that they spend in improving that overused technology are ridiculous, considering that they can divert those funds elsewhere." Suzune-san is really a well-travelled individual, which is rare considering the climate for Magicians in the international stage.

Ayanami-Obaachan chuckled at Suzune-san. "I don't care much about other countries and their issues, but in that regard, we have an agreement." Ayanami-Obaachan became serious again. "Are you positive that your cousin had cleared every Russian in the area."

"Yes." Without hesitation, Suzune-san replied with a confident tone. "When he takes aim, when he sets his sights on a target, he doesn't miss."

"No one is perfect in the battlefield."

"You have never seen my cousin work. I have, countless times." Suzune-san stated, though her tone was a bit grim. "He doesn't fail, especially in combat. He works with zero margin of errors."

I looked at Suzune-san as those words escape her lips. I believed her. My beloved, although he doesn't seem like it, he is a perfectionist. From the little things that he do, to the attention to details that he puts in his actions, he is a perfectionist to the highest order.

The confidence that Suzune-san has for my Tatsuya is something that I share. But unlike her, who had witness his greatness countless times, my confidence in him is based on faith and love.

I envy Suzune-san in that regard. I would have given a lot to see his greatness in motion. The things I've seen tonight were beyond spectacular, enough to solidify the strength that I believed he has in the past, but I want to see more, to see his power in display in a much more grandeur way.

An unfamiliar ring reached everyone's ear, signaling the arrival of the elevator.

When the elevator opened, it revealed a female operator, and the sight of her made Suzune-san visually cringe.

"Shit, he summoned Darkness." Suzune-san muttered lout enough for us to hear.

That statement was a cause for confusion

"Suzune…" A hallowed, dual toned voice escaped the lips of the operator as she looked at Suzune-san.

All of us were taken a back by the voice and especially the eyes of the female operator. They were pitch black. Her entire eyes were pitch black.

"…I am insulted that you would think so little of me." The woman smiled creepily at Suzune-san. "Like you, I am his instrument. The only difference, I am much more useful to our liege."

"I beg to differ." There was a soft growl in Suzune-san's voice. "Normally, if he needs to possess someone, he will create a [Poltergeist]…" The woman moved from her position with speeds that someone with her body and clothing should not be able to do.

"I am superior to any of those lower beings!" The woman stated with a smile that was near demonic. "I am superior to you." A look of frustration that I have never seen from Suzune-san marred her face.

The woman smiled in victory as she stood up. "The liege needed mass possession, and I am the best [Astral] for that kind of job."

"Possession." Okaa-sama repeated with intrigued in her voice and the woman looked at her with that demonic smile.

"When you stare at the Dark to long, the Abyss will look right back." That ominous statement left the woman's lips before her gazed fell on me.

I don't know why but delight suddenly filled the black eyes of the woman. "You are her, the girl that my liege has chosen for himself."

I looked at her in confusion but before I could speak, she gave me a motion that indicates silence. "I would like to speak with you with my actually body, the body that was crafted from the subconscious of my liege, not with this flesh that I have possessed." The woman told me with a genuinely excited tone. "Speaking with you with this body is borderline disrespectful."

The woman then entered the elevator and motioned for us to enter the elevator. "Come now, the liege is waiting and it is not wise to keep him waiting."

The woman before us caused many questions and a bit of confusion to the point that all of us immediately looked at Suzune-san for answer.

Suzune-san looked very exasperated. "The thing controlling that woman is an ally."

"Is it another construct of Tatsuya-kun's power?" Okaa-sama inquired, interest evident in her voice.

"Unfortunately."

"I resent that, you failure of a tool."

Suzune-san once again glared at the woman.

"A lesser tool like you should never speak ill of her better."

"He rarely uses you." Suzune-san stated in irritation.

"But he still uses me. I have my uses to my liege." The woman then pointed at Suzune-san. "He never needed you."

If looks could kill, I think that woman would have already been dead.

"I think we should go now." I moved into the elevator with caution.

I am curious. If this is another one of my beloved's construct, then I want to see it with my own eyes. I am excited to see the appearance and the ability of the creature that he had summoned.

"Is this safe?"Mitsugu-Ojiisama asked warily.

"Yes." Suzune-san answered as she entered the elevator as well, glaring the possess operator. "That thing is out. It is safe to say that everyone aside from us is either in a daze, asleep, or possessed."

"Possessed."

"I was not talking to you."

"I was not also talking to you."

"Should I be amused or weirded out?" Ayanami-Obaachan asked while being assisted by the twins into the elevator.

"I am quite fascinated right now." Okaa-sama commented in interest, eyeing the woman with curiosity. "Possession, that's a rare magic."

Mitsugu-Ojiisama entered the elevator quietly, a cautious eye on the operator.

Honami-san and Minami-chan followed suit, and between the two of them, it seems that only Honami-san is at ease. I should really have a talk with Minami-chan about being at ease with my lover.

My Tatsuya-kun will not do anything to harm me.

"Descending now." The woman's doubled voice exclaimed as it pressed the button for the elevator to descend to the ground floor.

The elevator music ring to our ears but I was able to filter out the tacky music and I instead focus my attention on the woman beside me.

As mentioned by the woman and Suzune-san before, this woman is possess, and the cause of the possession is a creature that my beloved summoned.

This is a curious thing. I know that [Possession] is a rare and difficult type of Mind Manipulation Magic. I know this because Okaa-sama is capable of such a magic. I have only seen Okaa-sama used that kind of magic one time and it exhausted her afterwards.

For my beloved to summon something that can use that kind of magic in a large scale, that is truly impressive.

It took a minute for us to reach the ground floor, and when the elevator door slid open, a bizarre sight greeted us.

The lobby was filled with people but they weren't moving. They just stood in place, completely frozen.

In the center of lobby, there stood a figure, a pitch-black figure.

That figure wasn't human.

The evidence behind that, half of its body resembled that of a serpent.

The other half is that of a woman.

The scales on the serpent part of the creature were glistening and shiny. The color pattern of the scales is alternating bands of purple and black, and a little bit of white in between.

The woman part was a bit obscure by a hooded-cloak seemingly made out of feathers, but a figure that unmistakably belongs to a woman still showed through the cloak.

As if being alerted of our arrival, everyone in the lobby, simultaneously, in unison, looked at us, their eyes similar to the female operator.

Their eyes were pure black.

Each and everyone in the lobby gave us identical smiles, simultaneous and unison, which is disturbing if nothing else.

"Okay, who wants to go out first?" Ojii-sama looked and sounded scared. In a way, I can understand him. This scene is straight out of a horror movie.

And I don't actually care. I have nothing to fear. If that creature was born from my beloved's power, that creature will not lay a finger on me.

"I'll go first." I announced before I stepped out of the elevator unhindered.

The moment I completely stepped out of the elevator, the Gorgon moved towards me in unprecedented speed, closing the distance between us in a blink of an eye.

I did my best not to flinch. That would have been a sign of weakness, something I cannot show.

The Gorgon stopped mere inches from me, and from this distance, I was somewhat surprised at how massive the creature is.

I think this creature is between 5 to 6 meters from head to tail.

The face of the creature was mere millimeters from me, and I could feel a cold breath caressing my cheeks.

Slender, scaled arms moved out from the inside of the cloak, and long fingers gently caressed my cheeks before it removed the hood covering the figure's face.

When the hood was removed, the face of the creature was finally revealed.

The skin of the creature is a deathly pallor, covered with tortuous, deep red and purple veins that run up her arms and face. She has a black diamond-shaped marking on the center of her forehead. She has white hair formed into a bun with six offshoots from which ornaments are suspended.

But what caught my attention was the creatures eyes. Just like the phoenix that my beloved summon, this creature has the same eyes as my beloved.

"You are prettier in reality than in my liege's dreams." The creature spoke, its voice smooth yet hallowed, elegant yet demented. "I am the Astral Beast of Darkness. I am the illusionist of my liege and his best summon." The creature introduced itself to me. It stood upright before bowing before me, head low.

"It is an honor and a delight to meet the girl that had successfully tamed and humanized my master." It stated with glee in her voice.

I don't know what to say with that kind of greeting, but recalling my manners, I curtsy back at the curious creature.

It smiled at me happily before it slithered backwards. The creature then pointed to the exit of the hospital.

"My liege is waiting for another wave of flesh coming to this area. They are about to arrive and they would meet their maker soon after." The creature informed us in a singsong manner. "My liege would appreciate if you would watch him."

(Miya POV)

"That thing is sentient, with a magic core massive enough that it has thrice the Psion of an elite magician." Ayanami-chan whispered carefully. "Did that kid summon that?"

"He created that thing." I informed her as I stepped out of the Elevator, and Spirit particles in this lobby were so massive, it was almost suffocating. The massive lingering of Psion was also a heavy present in the lobby.

"That should not be possible." Ayanami-chan stepped out the elevator, ushering her children to the lobby. They looked very nervous and frightful, something that can be understood in the current setting. They have are witnessing a magic that us borderline impossible.

"I've dealt with Spirit-based Magic users before. I've dealt with those kinds of Magicians many times. Creating [Familiars], creating [Golems] is a strenuous task that requires rituals and multiple complex Magic Sequences." Ayanami-chan then looked at the Gorgon with caution. "That thing is a construct made out of crystalize Pushion with a Psion Core that should only be seen in an elite magician. Creating something like that should not be possible, or if nothing else will require rituals and advance sequences that would take days, even months to complete. That is not even taking to account massive magic power needed to stabilize that construct."

"I already know that." I don't need to research Spirit-based Magic to come to that conclusion. "But Tatsuya-kun is an anomaly. The abilities that he has have never been documented before."

That itself is an impressive feat. Someone like Tatsuya-kun should already be a well known magician with his skills alone. With his abilities, everyone in the Number Systems would immediately be offering their daughters just to get his genetics.

Whoever is his mother, she is to be respected and feared. She's to be respected because she was able to fight the urge of parading around a magician as unique as Tatsuya-kun, and preferred to used him in secrecy. She's to be feared at the fact that she can keep Tatsuya-kun in a short leash.

Whatever conditioning used to get Tatsuya-kun manageable is to be applauded.

"Mortals…" The creature called for us in a demeaning fashion. "Come now, don't be afraid. I am not task to break any of you. In contrary, my task is done." The creature motioned towards the people in the lobby. "Every mortal in this hospital has now been possess by my power, by the will of my liege, everyone but the Princess…" The creature motioned to my daughter, indicating that the creatures that Tatsuya-kun can summon will have a fondness of her that matches his. That is something to take note of. "… and everyone associated with her. I have nothing more to do unless additional orders come from my liege." The creature told us before turning it's attention back to my daughter.

"Milady, come now. The show is about to begin and my liege would appreciate you watching his work." The creature slithered forward, giving my daughter an inviting look to walk beside it. "You will not be disappointed."

There was no hesitation in my daughter's movements.

She followed the creature and walk beside it, a step of excitement on her heels and in each of her steps.

Trust and love, two dangerous concepts that fuels the relationship between my daughter and Tatsuya-kun. Those two concepts are fragile and can be easily shattered.

For the sake of the Yotsuba, I hope the relationship will last.

This night showed me that the family does not have any answers for Tatsuya-kun.

Sending anyone after him aside from Maya will just be plain suicide.

"We should follow." Suzune-san spoke, interrupting my line if thought. "Among the Astral Beasts that he can summon, that thing is the most dangerous and the most unpredictable."

"Why's that?" Minami inquired fearfully.

"Because that thing…" Suzune-san spat out in disgust. "…is sadistic enough and has enough free will of its own to the point that it breaks minds just for laughs. That thing is the most unstable construct that Tatsuya can bring out."

(Miyuki POV)

I walked beside the creature that my beloved summoned.

This creature is fascinating.

It is as fascinating as the Phoenix that my Tatsuya-kun summoned earlier.

Looking around, I looked at all the people in the room.

They were all looking at me.

They were all smiling at me.

Normally, I would feel uncomfortable with this many people looking at me at the same time, but I take solace at the fact that the reason why this many people are leering at me is due to the powers of my beloved.

"My apologies for the discomfort, Milady." The creature whispered to me as it lowered its body so that I can directly look at it's eyes, my lover's eyes. "This is the first time I could see you in person, and probably the last. I would just like to drink in your magnificent before I am cage and filed into my liege's subconscious once again."

I looked at this creature curiously before offering it a weak smile. "No apologies needed." I'll be asking my beloved on how to deal with the creatures that he can create. They seemed to be capable of individual thought, which is very interesting.

That being said, I wonder…

"How did you possess everyone here?" I rarely asked my beloved about his magic. Asking about the magic of a Magician is a big taboo, but the mass possession magic that this creature is capable of using is an elite level Mental Interference Magic, a magic that I have only seen wielded by my Okaa-sama.

I know that I may not get an answer but the chuckle that was emitted by the creature was somewhat encouraging.

"When you stare at the dark, the abyss will look back at you." Those were the same words that the Elevator Operator told my mother. "By influencing the Spirits, controlling the Spirits, imposing his will to the Spirits that he controls, by dominating and overwhelming those Spirits, my liege can create and control beings of pure spiritual being such as myself, beings that can control one of the twelve elements of this world."

"This world is composed of twelve elements, and those Elements are: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Ice, Wood, Steel, Light, Darkness, Aether (Radiation), and Void (Gravity)." The creature elaborated, listing down elements that, in theory, from what this creature is saying, my beloved can control by creating creatures like her. "I am the Astral Beast of Darkness or if you want a more pleasing way to word me, I am the Celestial Body of Darkness. Darkness is the element of illusions, of hypnosis. Darkness is the element of the mind." This creature reintroduced itself to me, this time though, with a cocky smirk.

"I can attack the mind of anything capable of thought. I can mentally break anyone capable of thought. I can also control them, as you can see right here." The creature once again gestured the people standing in a trance around us. "Possessing those with weak minds, as most people are, overpowering them and manipulating them is nothing more than a paltry trick for me."

I know that there is a more elaborated explanation than what the creature gave me, but what the creature gave me was good enough to sate my curiosity for now.

I'll ask my Tatsuya-kun for a more precise explanation.

For now though…

"Time for the show, Milady." The creature opened the door for me.

The sight of my lover sitting on a flight of stairs greeted me.

I smiled as I stepped outside with the intent of embracing him, but I paused at the sight of nine armored vehicles driving towards the hospital.

I recognized those vehicles.

I've saw one those vehicles below the balcony where he and I were spending quality time together.

Those were also the same vehicles that tried to ambush us in the precinct.

Those were Russians, and they are still coming our way.

My beloved stood up before brandishing his Gun-shaped CAD. He took aimed at one of the vehicles, and with a press of the trigger, a white horizontal line appeared in front of the vehicle.

When the vehicle drove through the horizontal line, the vehicle was cut clean in half right in the middle.

One half of the vehicle crash on the right and the other crash on the left.

And as it crashed, I saw red shoot up from vehicle down to the road, staining the road and debris with blood.

From that attack, the remaining vehicles stopped. Doors were opened and people armed with rifles filed out of the vehicles and aimed their weapons at my beloved.

I didn't know when I moved, but I found my CAD in my hand, and was about to cast a shield around my beloved.

But apparently, that was not needed.

Before he can be harmed, a spell was already cast by him.

The spell that he invoked was something.

That is the only description that I could give to the spell that my beloved performed.

With a pull of a trigger, a darkness like no other enveloped the people that came out from the vehicles.

This darkness is unique because it did not obscure those people or their vehicles from view like the darkness that everyone is used to.

The darkness that my beloved summoned obscured the surrounding area around those insurgences.

And in that darkness, right before me, those people died in the most gruesome way that I could imagine.

I could see fluids from those men evaporating from their eyes and mouth.

The skin of those men suddenly became dark red and ruptured. When their skin ruptured, I saw blood boiling within their bodies.

In mere seconds after their skins ruptured, their body expanded in an almost animated fashion before exploding in bloody gore.

The body parts temporarily flew in the air before they were frozen solid.

And right on cue, the vehicles that those men drove exploded in a blaze, but instead of debris flying everywhere, the remains of the vehicles floated in the darkness and the flames generated by the explosion was dispersed almost as immediately as it appeared.

The entire debacle lasted for a quarter of a minute.

With the threat neutralized, my beloved pulled the trigger, and the darkness disappeared and the area that was surrounded by the darkness returned to normal.

The debris and frozen body parts fell to the ground.

My Tatsuya-kun looked at the mess that he created before aiming his CAD and pulling the trigger.

A black miasma appeared and surrounded the debris of the vehicles and the scattered remains of the insurgences. Everything that the black miasma touched was rotted quickly into non-existence.

As if, they were not even there.

With the task complete, he sheathed his Gun to his coat before turning around and meeting my gazed.

We looked at each other for several seconds before a chuckle escaped his lips.

He pointed behind him, specifically the miasma that was rotting everything it touch.

"Are you scared of me now?" He asked in the most hallowed tone that he had ever used when speaking to me.

Regardless of the strength of our relationship, that question has its merits.

What he showed me was a cruel execution, using a magic that was barbaric.

He executed those men, murdered those men without showing an ounce of mercy and pity, or any emotions whatsoever.

I should be afraid. Fear would be the most understandable and natural reaction.

The relationship between us is anything but normal.

Since the start of our relationship and especially this evening, I know that me fearing him would be the ultimate betrayal from me to him.

That is a betrayal that I will never commit.

He will never betray me after all.

I smiled at my beloved.

"Why should I be afraid?" I have no reason to be afraid. "Your magic was very beautiful." Regardless of the gore and blood, that will never be taken away from my Tatsuya.

A sound that I have only heard a few times reach my ears.

My Tatsuya-kun was laughing and it was music to my ears.

He opened his arms to me and gave me a demanding smile.

I laughed as well as I walked into his embraced.

He held me closed and tight and our lips met for a kiss.

A victory kiss for my beloved.

He deserves more but that is for later.

(Scene Change)

Either unbeknownst or not caring who sees them; Miyuki's family and Suzune witness the execution of the Russians that were rushing into the hospital as well as the lover's passionate lip lock.

At the sight of such barbaric magic, those who were not used to such carnage, namely the children, were now dry-heaving on the hospital floor. They have seen death firsthand this evening, but what Tatsuya did to those Russians was so inhumane that they could not keep the contents of their stomach any longer.

Honami was comforting the children. Although this is the first time she saw that kind of execution, she was much more in control of her emotions. She was still able to see Tatsuya in a positive light and was able to understand why Tatsuya would resort to something as barbaric as that magic, but she made a mental note to speak with him about moderation.

Honami can understand Tatsuya's line of thinking but there are some magic in the world that should never see the light of day. The magic spell that Tatsuya executed is one of those kinds of magic.

"Suzune-san, explain that magic please?" Miya's voice was not that of a person requesting but someone who was demanding an answer.

"That spell is a bit too complex to explain right now, Shiba-dono." Suzune replied as she tried to flush that sceneout her mind. The magic that Tatsuya just performed was one of the many magic that she never wanted to witness.

It was an impressive magic, but no living being should ever experience a magic like that.

"Give me a summary." The tone that Miya use was one that left no arguments.

Suzune knew that if she did not give an answer to Miya, the elder Shiba would merely ask Tatsuya for answer, and Suzune knew that Tatsuya would willingly give Miya the answer that she wanted. Tatsuya is very secretive of his magic, but he would trust Miya about some knowledge of his magic.

With that in mind, Suzune provided the answer that Miya was asking for.

"That spell is called [Dark Terrain]. I cannot provide you a specific explanation, but that spell alters a certain area by removing specific gases and elements until it becomes a vacuum of space." That was the easiest explanation of the spell.

"That monster can simulate an environment comparable to outer space?" Ayanami asked, impressed by the magic that she had seen.

"Yes." Suzune confirmed with a nod. There was more to that spell than what Ayanami stated, but she was not willing to divulge any more information.

Ayanami looked at Suzune critically before leaning towards her friend. "Get that boy in our family as soon as possible." Ayanami whispered urgently.

By this point, Mitsugu was not able to say anything derogatory regarding Tatsuya. It finally sunk in to him that the boy was someone not to be trifled with.

(Scene Change)

After everyone recovered from witnessing the deed that Tatsuya had done, the group now moved out of the Hospital's immediate grounds.

Tatsuya and Miyuki were on the front of the group, hands interlaced.

Suzune and Honami was behind them, alert and ready.

The adults were behind the two the guards, Miya and Mitsugu was supporting Ayanami, who was reserving her strength in case any surprised comes up.

Minami and the twins were positioned near the adults, with Minami being on the very back of the group. After seeing the spell that Tatsuya performed, they were not comfortable being anywhere near him.

The fact that the Gorgon that he summoned was slithering beside him and Miyuki added to their discomfort.

"Released and dismissed." When they were far enough, Tatsuya whispered those words to his summoned.

The Gorgon smiled and its eyes glowed eerily before returning to normal. "Those mortals are now conscious, my liege." The Gorgon reported dutifully before gazing one more time at Miyuki. With a smile, the Gorgon disappeared in a flash of darkness.

With the absent of the snake, Suzune let out a sigh of relief. Among the Astral Beasts that she have seen and met, she hated the darkness variety the most.

Tatsuya made a sudden paused before looking upwards. "Down." Tatsuya ordered.

A breeze of wind washed over the group, and a massive Phoenix landed in front of Tatsuya.

At the sight of the majestic bird, Ayanami gazed at Miya incredulously.

Miya could only shrugged.

"Anything?" Tatsuya inquired coldly as he gazed upwards at his Phoenix.

The Phoenix nodded once and with a soft chirp, several small tornadoes descended from the sky and in the center of those tornadoes were several pieces of shredded steel and machinery.

"Drones." Tatsuya stated calmly before looking back at the group.

His eyes immediately locked in on Mitsugu.

"You were tagged." Tatsuya told Mitsugu with narrowed eyes.

Before he could react, Mitsugu was spun around by his wife. Ayanami's eyes narrowed a bit before reaching towards the lower back of her husband.

"This may hurt a bit, Mitsugu-koi." Ayanami whispered before piercing the lower part area of his back with two of her fingers.

Mitsugu groaned in pain but his discomfort did not last long as his wife removed her fingers from his lower back.

In between Ayanami's finger was a small cylindrical device.

All of the seasoned magic combatants in the group were able to determine that the device was a tracker.

"Could you please give that to me?" Everyone knew that Tatsuya was demanding not asking.

Ayanami threw the device towards Tatsuya. Catching the device, a silver fireball erupted beside Tatsuya, and another [Ghost] appeared at his side. Handing the device to the [Ghost], it flew on the horizon, clutching the tracker tightly.

"That is not a long term solution for this problem." Honami commented, well aware of the strategy that Tatsuya employed when he allowed the tracker to be carried away by one of his lesser summons.

"I know." Tatsuya replied before looking at the road. "I called my mother. She'll be arriving in the next few minutes with my gear and a secure transport. I already have permission to go on a hunt and she already agreed to get all of you in a secured location."

The news was a bombshell for every single member of the group, much so for the Shibas and Suzune.

"You called the Madam?!" Suzune inquired, voice shaking with fright.

"Yes, I called my mother." Tatsuya affirmed, as if not knowing the gravity of what he had done. "What I have right now is enough to wipe them out, but I would prefer to have this nip under the bud this evening than prolong this farce for another day. For that, I'll be needing some of my Gear and some of my Special CADs."

"But, Tatsuya, the current company…"

"Inconsequential for my mother." Tatsuya cut-off Suzune while gazing at her sharply, enough to make her flinched. It was rare for him to look at her like that.

"Your mother is going to escort us to a secure location?" Miya asked, cutting in to the conversation.

Tatsuya nodded at Miya's direction. "Mother had already given her word, and she does not go back on her promises." Tatsuya turned then looked at Mitsugu. "She might have some words with you. I don't know what part of her business or her schemes were affected by your stupidity, but you better hope that it's minor because if it's not, you will be facing me, and depending on her judgement or her mood, I am going to be your Undertaker." Tatsuya warned coldly.

The Kuroba twins shuddered at that threat while their parents looked at him more cautiously than before.

Miya knew, at this point, her leverage over Tatsuya will not be enough to spare her cousin from this mysterious woman, although she cannot help but wonder what kind of woman did her cousin do business with.

"Tatsuya-kun." Feeling that the atmosphere is becoming toxic, Miyuki stepped in to soothe the irritation of her lover. "I am going to meet your mother. Do I look presentable?" Miyuki asked innocently.

"You look angelic, as you usually do." Tatsuya shifted his temper to a lighter note as he turned his attention to Miyuki.

"Could you tell me something about your mother?" Miyuki inquired, preparing herself for the most important meeting that she will have in her young life. "You mentioned her before only in passing, and the only thing that I get was that she is a capable magician." Those that knew Tatsuya acknowledge that only someone with enormous magical strength and power can keep someone like him in check.

Yes, they believe that Tatsuya has great affection for his mother, but if that alone is the end-all and be-all of his loyalty, Miya would have already made a move to transition Tatsuya to the Yotsuba.

Love is not the only chain binding Tatsuya to his mother, both Miyuki and Miya knew this much.

"My mother is insane." Tatsuya began, indulging the request of his lover.

Those four words were not the description that the Shibas wanted to hear.

"My mother is a brilliant magician, the most perfect magician that I have ever seen, and she is also insane, but she is functional even through her insanity. Her insanity makes her more worthwhile. She had drown in her own madness even before I was born, but she is not detach from reality. She is an intelligent and capable woman, but she is also manipulative and vindictive. She's playful, but demented and sadistic. She's a perfectionist and controlling, overpowering and dominating." Tatsuya took a deep breath and a smile that made Miyuki's heart ache suddenly made its way on his lips.

That smile was painful to look at knowing that the smile was not for her.

"My mother is like me, she is a monster, but she is a monster by choice, unlike me, who is a monster by birth. I love her." Tatsuya confessed, his emotionless tone having a warm sincerity in its edge. Tatsuya then looked at Miyuki, who appeared to have been hit on the gut. Miyuki knew that Tatsuya held his mother to such high regard, but hearing the passion in his voice as he described the enigmatic woman hurt in ways that she could not describe. "Miyuki-hime…"

Miyuki turned her completely attention to her lover once again.

"You will meet my mother, and trust me, you will be frighten by her. My mother can make anyone fear her, she can make anyone fold beneath her without using any magic, but I promised you, she will not harm you, she'll go through me first before she can hurt you and she will not do something so reckless, not against me." Tatsuya moved his free hand and gently cuffed Miyuki's cheeks. "That said, when you meet my mother, do me this favor, do not make me choose, at least not now."

"Why?" This was a selfish play from Miyuki, but she needed to know. "Would you choose your mother?"

"I would choose you." The rebuttal came so quick, it even startled Miyuki. "But no son is looking forward to fight his own mother to death. I am not ready for that kind of battle neither is my mother, and even if we are ready and committed to kill each other, I cannot guarantee a victory against her."

That was the confession that made everyone stared at the two lovers.

For Miya, it was pleasing news that Tatsuya would choose her daughter over his own mother, but the admission of an unsure victory if this mother of his take up arms against him is not a comforting thought.

Miyuki looked at his lover, feeling a bit ashamed at the question that she had asked. That question was out of line.

"My apologies." Miyuki whispered before giving Tatsuya a resolute nod. "You won't have to choose. She and I will get along." Miyuki promised, and she swore to herself that she would get along with the woman that bore his lover to the world, regardless of who or what she is.

A relive smile made its way on Tatsuya's lips, a foreign expression for him, from his lover's words. That was the best thing he can hope for from one of his favorite girls.

"Thank you." For an exclamation point, Tatsuya captured her lips for a quick kiss. "That meant a lot."

"She's here." The announcement from Suzune effectively cut the moment between the lovers short. Suzune's voice was feared with so much uncertainty and fear, it sent a rather grim message for everyone.

Everybody gazed at the limousine approaching them, and every one of them felt trepidation course through their body.

They were about to meet the mother that bore the equivalent of a super monster into the world.

The limousine stopped a few feet from the group.

The engine died a few seconds later.

The door of the driver was gently pushed opened, and the person who drove the limousine exited the vehicle.

Immediately, aside from Suzune and Tatsuya, all eyes widen in shocked.

They knew the person who vacated the vehicle.

The person was easily the most recognizable face in the family.

He was, after all, the longest, serving servant in their family and the confidant of the last two heads of the family and the confidant of the current.

Hayama Tadanori.

"No." Miya whispered as a horrifying realization suddenly dawn to her.

Without uttering a word, Hayama opened the door of the passenger compartment of the limousine, and the woman that emerged from the vehicle was someone that they would never expect.

Beauty surpassing that of a Goddess.

Power so vast that it was beyond conceivable

And a presence so terrifying it is borderlines demonic.

In her full glory, Yotsuba Maya stood before them.

The head of their infamous family did not acknowledge any of her 'immediate' family. Even her twin sister was ignored.

Instead, her eyes were firmly on Tatsuya and the emotions in her eyes were something that they have never seen from Maya for a long time, since that tragedy.

Her eyes were filled with love, pride, and something else that most would not like to name.

"My son." Maya spoke loud enough for everyone within earshot to hear. She raised her arms and directed a beautiful and lustful smile at Tatsuya. "Come, my son."

Maya's voiced was so inviting, so seductive, so hypnotic that it disturbed those who knew her.

What happened next would forever be carved in the memories of those watching, especially Miyuki's.

Unlocking his hands from his lover, Tatsuya voluntarily let go of Miyuki's hand and casually walks towards Maya.

One, two, three long strides, Tatsuya willing walked into the embraced of the most dangerous woman in the world and he did the one thing that solidify the relationship between him and Maya as a mother and son.

He embraced her and whispered the one word that was thought to never be associated with Yotsuba Maya.

"Mother."

An expression of euphoria spread throughout Maya's face as she embraced her son tightly on her breasts.

She had always wanted to hear her son call her that in front of witnesses, in front of the world.

"My son." The possessiveness in her voice was beyond that of any mother.

The devil had finally shown her claim to her dragon for the world to see.
