Authors Note: Hello everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Before I say anything else I just want to thank all of you for reading this story. When I was making this story I was sure it was only going to get like 20 views and maybe 1 follow. I'm happy to be wrong. Also want to give a shout out to all those who reviewed. Blue Synth, Spoody, Colossal the Omega, and Rougarou144 thank you for your words of encouragement.

Now to get back into it. Like I'd said, most of this story is going to intersect with the MCU but also have some other marvel elements at the same time. You'll notice them more and more as the story goes on. If I had to pick a point in the time line, I'd say between Iron man 2 and the Avengers is a general idea where the world is at right now. Don't expect them to end up the same though. I'll add some more stuff at the end but I hope you enjoy the chapter.

"Hey does anyone know the Polish word for "I am your friend-stop hitting me with that baguette!" Peter Parker Spider-Man comic.

March 3, 2064 New York City

In the busy city of New York, there were many skyscrapers that ruled the skyline. A few of the ones that did were, the Empire State building, the Baxter building, and the almost complete Stark tower.

Another building also stood out, with its green tinted windows and circular design with the words OSCORP lit up in green, the Oscorp tower dominated as well.

It certainly was a sight.

On one of the top floors, the CEO of Oscorp sat behind his expensive oak desk. Looking over a few emails and waiting for some of his top minds to come his scheduled meeting, the man stared thoughtfully at his screen.

Oscorp made many different things, chief among them being weapons and other military and medical technology. Almost everybody bought something from them, even the mighty Chevalier. Despite the setback with the arrival of the new SEGA industries becoming a rival, they were still a large buyer of equipment.

The Gold name plate of Norman Osborn shined in the light as he read his most recent email from a contact in Chevalier.

His son Harry never made many friend of note, most of the time he didn't bother remembering them. After Harrys'…incident he barely had any, but there was one who he did take an interest in, one that had an Intellect that rivaled his own. He had an ability to learn and absorb knowledge beyond anything he seen before. His name was Peter Parker and from the email he was currently reading, he was now at West Genetics Japan.

Perhaps this might have not meant too much, if not for the fact that in all the time he met him, he never once expressed any interest at being a limiter while visiting his son. When he asked, the boy evaded the topic, giving only general answers to his questions.

He could read the writing on the wall in that, someone, had gotten to him and forced him to go. He was well verse in Chevalier practices. Forcing a person to do their bidding was the least of what they were callable of. He glared hatefully at the computer before closing it.

Peter Parker was to be his protégé. He would mold him into a senior research head and together, they would bring about all sorts of new advancement to his company. Peter could be the son he wished he had, instead of the broken mess he had now.

He didn't hate his son of course. He only wished he was less of a disappointment. Having gone through his life with poor grades and constant failures, another reason to have Peter around due to the impact he had on his education. With Peter's help, Harry's grades went from a 1 point nothing to a 3.0 and up, until his wife had died of course.

He would find who interfered with his plans and make them wished they hadn't. No one had ever crossed Norman Osborn and didn't regret it.

"Mister Osborn, they're all here sir." His secretary buzzed in.

"Thank you Ms. Hand, send them in" He responded back.

He smoothed out his suit and ran a hand in his reddish brown hair as he prepared himself for the meeting that was going to start.

The first to walk in was Doctor Otto Octavius, a true star in his field of robotic and electronic engineering. He was a slightly heavy set man with dark eye glasses and a bowl cut. Having him work for his company was a boon, or at least it had been. Lately however…

He turned his attention to Otto's assistant Doctor Alistair Smythe. Smythe was a young man with long brown hair and green eyes. He also was in a wheelchair due to accident he had when he was a child. An expert in cybernetics, together they made a decent enough pair.

The next man to enter was his current favorite, Doctor Donald Menken. Menken was put in charge of splicing together the DNA of different animals to see if more powerful types could be made. The hope being that down the line they could use it on humans to make a new breed of super soldier.

After all, everyone wanted to make the next Pandora.

He understood the next group he would be working with was arachnids, more specifically, Spiders.

The next to enter was Doctor Mendel Strom. Strom, and older gentlemen, was balding and his gray eyes had been dulled with time. However, his mind was as strong as ever and his work on robotics and radiation might just be better then what ever it was Dr. Banner had been working on before he lost his mind.

Last and certainly least Doctor and he used that term lightly, Adrian Toomes. Toomes was supposed to be an expert on aviation, propulsion and mechanical engineering. In his late forties, with graying hair and a narrow face, the only thing he appeared to be an expert on was wasting money. Smug and arrogant, with nothing to show, he looked forward to his reaction to what he had to say. He waited for them all to sit down.

"Gentlemen thank you for being so prompted. I know you all have much work to do so I'm hoping not to keep any of you too long." He began as he looked at them each in the eye.

"We are now into our third month of the year. Many of you have been working on the same project for several quarters now. While some of you have had made great strides in your work others" he pointedly looked at Toomes "have had setbacks or in fact made no real progress at all." He finished.

"Giving credit where credit is due is important. However, recognizing or failures are just as, if not more so important, lest we find ourselves stagnated in this work of ours. This brings me to why you are all gathered here today. Today, you are going to find out who has achieved what."

"First we have Dr. Menken." The heavy set man stat up strait his brow sweating from nervousness.

"Dr. Menken so far your work has been excellent. The success you have shown in combining genes from animals together to make stronger, more powerful hybrids of the originals has great promise. Special attention must be given your muscle and nervous system enhancements. You told me we can expect advanced trails at the end of the year along with human ones within two possibly. I'm quite looking forward to them." He finished with a rare pleased expression.

Menken was practically shining with happiness. He had always had low self-confidence, which made motivating him rather easy. "Oh thank you, thank you Mr. Osborn. I promise you I won't let you down." Menken gushed out.

He nodded in his direction before turning to the next employee. "Strom" he stared at the older man

"I will admit, with the chaos and destruction brought about after Banners little "episode", when you pitched the idea of using radiation in genetic experiments a year later I was…" he searched for a good word "concerned."

"While your work in robotics had always been successful, I had feared where this new direction of your work would be headed. At the very least I expect a large bill." Telling a small joke, Norman lightly chuckled at it.

"Imagine my surprise when a few months later not only could you do it in theory, but you had already been testing prototypes. One of which, you'll be demonstrating in July if I'm not mistaken." waiting for Strom to give a nod an acknowledgment. "Good work." He congratulated him.

"Thank you Mr. Osborn I'm looking forward to it. I have also been in touch with Dr. Menken for future collaboration. We hope to combine our effort to achieve our own goals." Strom finished, giving his own nod to Menken.

"Dr. Octavius, Dr. Smythe the two of you have worked together for some time now. Your work had been as impressive as everyone else's at first. As of late, you've missed several deadlines, and the work you do finish has been subpar."

"I do realize what I've asked for is challenging, having machines made that can be used to combat the Nova is no simple task, but having nothing completed in two years is most…disappointing." He paused letting it sink in.

"Being able to make and sell weapons that can do the fighting for us, without having to put the lives of children at risk instead, is an easy choice. A choice our government and investors can get behind. I have several contacts eager for a product to purchase."

"I've told you before Osborn" Otto began "the power source needed for our designs is complex. Having to work with that moron Lowell isn't helping either." Otto grumbled.

'He does have a point' Norman admitted to himself. Dr. David Lowell was a lead designer for power storage and production. He was part of a group that worked in making the many machines others in the company had created function. He was smart, well trained, and had ten years experienced in his field.

He was also an airhead.

However, since the work he had finished before was nothing to scoff at, he let him stay on.

"I understand your concern. Conflicting interests in the workplace cause everyone problems. Which is why, I'm moving you and your assistant to our new lab in Fukuoka, Japan." He finished watching their reactions.

"What…this is an OUTRAGE."

"Mr. Osborn, think this through please."

"Think this through Smythe? I have, which is why I'm telling you this now. Don't think of this a punishment, merely a change in perspective." He leaned back in his chair. "Weren't you frustrated a week ago with the way things are at this lab Otto? I would think you would welcome the change. Clearly the facility here isn't an effective environment for you. So, I'll be giving you free reign at the new one."

"I'm giving you July to move, so don't expect to have to drop everything and leave. You'll both have plenty of time to make the transition." He finished before letting his blue eyes narrowed. "Are we clear Dr.?"

Otto held onto the sides of his chair tightly before grinding out "Yes…sir"

Having finished that, he turn his attention to Toomes 'I'm so glad I thought to record this' he thought as he smiled to himself.

"Toomes I would like to talk about the progress you made, but since you've proven you're nothing more than a cavalcade of screw ups…I suppose that point is pretty moot."

Toomes, quick to anger, jumped to his feet "HOW DAR-"

"You've been here for 15 years."

"OF ALL THE-"

"15 years with nothing to show for it really."

"YOU CAN'T TRE-"

"Half of the time I forget you're here…probably why I haven't fired you before."

"YOU…YOU"

"Now however, I've reached the limit of my tolerance with your failures."

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU AR-"Toomes tried to finish before Norman Slammed his hand down on his desk, rising to his feet.

"Who do I think I am? WHO DO I THINK I AM? I AM YOUR OWNER" he said, shouting back at Toomes.

"Everything you use is mine, the equipment you use is mine, your lab, your seat, your desk, your computer, hell even the air you breathe is mine. Who I am is the person who tells you what do and where you do it." He snapped at Toomes.

Taking a step back in shock, for the first time Toomes had nothing to say, his voice dying in his throat.

"I'm giving you one chance, the last one you'll ever get. The flight harness you're trying to make might have some, small value in our weapons department. So, for the time being, I'll keep you on."

"Not here of course," he sat back down "I'm sick of looking at your miserable face. You will also go to Fukuoka, the difference being in that you will leave in a week. I'll make sure everything you use is shipped."

"You will have until June to give me something useful. If you fail me Toomes, not only will I fire you, but I will make sure that the only job you'll ever find again will be for a corner store repair center."

"Now get out, and don't you DARE raise your voice to me again." He finished seething at him.

Watching Toomes walkout, head down and speechless, was probably the greatest sight he had witnessed in a while.

Turning to the others he said "well gentlemen I think I've kept you all here long enough. I hope we have reached understanding with each other. Have a nice day." He finished as he dismissed them.

Looking at his clock he pushed a button on his desk "Victoria, it's almost 12 o'clock and I was planning to go out and get some lunch. Would you care to join me, I know of a great Japanese restaurant that opened up a month ago." He finished, waiting for her reply.

"Of course Mr. Osborn, I'll have your driver pull up to the front" she finished, getting off the speaker.

Turning to look out the windows of his office and gazing upon the sprawling city, he allowed himself to relax.

Yes, despite a few setbacks, things were looking bright for Oscorp. That idiot Stark, shutting down his weapons division was a wonderful surprise. His little suit, while impressive, wouldn't be the only new weapon platform around for too much longer. Hammer industries were in serious trouble after that moron destroyed the Stark Expo with his Iron Man knock offs. SEGA industries, while somehow managing to pull favor with Chevalier, could still be overcome and only dealt with them. Trask was losing contracts to him and who even knew what or cared what Roxxon was doing anymore.

The field was clearing, readying itself for him to finally dominate.

This year would be interesting.

March 7, 2064 West Genetics

It was currently independent study in the Physics classroom, most of the students were finishing up work from other classes or going over notes they had taken.

In the back of the class, sitting alone in a corner, Peter Parker was fiddling through his phone.

'I'm surprised how easy it was getting around Genetics spyware, what is this, amateur hour?" He thought to himself. Technology had always come easy to him. When he was younger his curiosity in computers had gotten him into a little trouble.

Despite the minor heart attack he had been given by the…cops, and promise keep his nose out of trouble, his skills never really slowed.

He was currently looking at some news articles about New York City. Apparently a few things had happened since he left including, more sightings of a guy in a red suit running around Hell's Kitchen, and a few more gang members killed by that crazy Punisher guy.

Stories like this had been popping up more and more over the years, the cops played it off as a bunch of idiots taking the law into their own hands. Most people just ignored it, until Tony Stark had his battle bot showdown, now people were paying closer attention all around. Putting his phone down, he rubbed his left shoulder as he looked over the class room.

The room was set up in a crescent, with desks being angled around the center of the room. There were two to a table, one limiter and one Pandora. He made sure that he picked a table at the end of seating so he would be alone.

The class was instructed by Yu-mi Kim. She was a Korean Pandora who was well known due to her status as a former number. The numbers had been a crack team of Pandora who happened to be responsible for the victory in the 8th Nova Clash.

Kim was also a combat instructor and an assistant to Sister Margaret. Smart and stern, but not without kindness, she quickly became his favorite teacher.

She was also incredibly beautiful, a fact that was becoming a norm for all the Pandora he had met. Her outfit was also nice as well, even if there were some…oddities.

'Why have a tie if didn't even make it over your chest?'

She raised her head, her shoulder length brown hair moving as she gazed at the clock with her soft brown eyes.

"Alright class you're dismissed, remember to finish your work sheet over the weekend I'm expecting them Monday." She said, looking over her students.

Staring to pack up, he was surprised when she called out "oh, by the way Mr. Parker, Ms. Roland, please stay back for a few minutes."

Shrugging his shoulders, waving to Mark and another limiter he had met named Morrison Abebe, he packed up and walked over to her desk. He stood beside Ganesa Roland. Ganesa was a first year limiter with red hair and brown eyes and, from what he could tell, was quite popular with his class.

Kim waited for the room to clear out before talking to the both of them.

"The first week of classes is almost over as I'm sure you know. It is around this time that we pick the class representatives. I been looking over all your backgrounds and narrowed my choice down to you two."

"Ganesa, so far you have shown great enthusiasm in our program. Having one of the highest compatibly rates for Pandora in this year making SA class ranking, I'm sure you'll turn into a central figurehead for your year and the years to come. Your grades, both in class and physical training, are also exemplary" She finished looking at Roland with a smile. Roland seemed to preen at the praise and stood strait, a please smile on her face.

Then she looked at him.

'Oh boy'

"Mr. Parker while I have noticed that you are not one of our most…sociable limiters" Looking at him, making it a point that she knew and didn't really approve of his turtle syndrome.

"That being said I cannot deny your intelligence, especially considering you had achieved the highest score on the written exam ever. I have also noticed a willingness to aid your classmates with their work. While your physical skills might be somewhat…lacking, I'm sure it is something we can work on." She said as her smile became more and more predatory towards the end of her sentence.

'This bodes poorly'

Ganesa meanwhile, looked at him in shock.

"You-you got a perfect score" she stammered.

"And the extra questions as well. Been a long time since anyone has gotten more than one out of five" Yu-mi chimed in.

Peter blushed and looked down the test, while hard, wasn't beyond him really. The bonus questions however were quite challenging.

He had fun, he'd admit it.

"So I've brought you both here to let you give me your own recommendation for the position, and Ganesa can go first. Ladies first, right Mr. Parker" she winked at him.

He shrugged and nodded.

"Thank you Ms. Kim. I have always wished to be a Pandora since I was a little girl. I was ready to do whatever was needed to become one. I've done quite well in all of my classes and put myself above my peers. I did not however, try to alienate them. I have made sure to be approachable to all of my class mates. To let them know I will help them with any of their problems. I promise you, that I will not fail you, my classmates, or myself. Thank you considering me for this opportunity" she finished, taking in a deep breath.

Yu-mi Kim lightly clapped. "A wonderful speech Ms. Roland, thank you. Looks like you have some tough competition Mr. Parker, you're next" she said to him.

Peter stepped forward and cleared his throat, readying himself for an epic speech, one that would change the world.

It might bring about an end to major problem such as world hunger, and the DMV.

He looked at instructor Kim, and finally began his speech.

"I'm ok, she can have it"

'Uncle Ben and early 90s TV have been bad for my thought process'

Yu-mi slapped a hand to her face, while Ganesa had fell on the floor with her legs in the air.

'That's odd'

"Really Peter?" Kim said as she looked at him with a degree of annoyance…and sadness.

Once again his mouth had got him in trouble, and he instantly started feeling guilty.

He quickly realized that she wouldn't have considered him if she didn't want to have faith in him to do the job. Over the week he had talked to her and gotten to know her a little.

He was able talk with her about the school, advance Physic theories, and other little topics. He had always had a good rapport with his teachers, more so with any of his fellow students, and their discussions were no different. It might have only been one week, but it was a fun week and he wished to continue this back and forth with her.

He might keep his distance from others, but he never set out to hurt them. Trying to recover his relationship with his new favorite teacher he stammered out an explanation.

"I-I don't want you to think that I'm ungrateful Ms. Kim. I'm honored really, that you would even consider little old me for it. It's just…I don't think I could ever be the person everybody looked to for guidance you know?"

"You need a special, spark for it I guess, and that's just something I never had. Ganesa is the better choice hand down."

Yu-mi looked down at her shoes as she sat back on her desk.

"Well…I am slightly upset that you have no drive at all be the representative for your class." She looked back to him with an understanding smile.

"But I thank you for your honesty. I didn't wish to make you feel uncomfortable by putting you on the spot. I do think however, that if you took it, you would surprise yourself with what you can do. I know talent when I see it."

"Still I won't force you to push for it so, with that said, I accept your choice."

Looking at him with a smile, he knew he restored their friendship.

'Maybe I'm not so bad at this social stuff after all'.

"Well I don't accept it"

"What?"

'What'

Ganesa glared at him "I said I don't accept your choice. I refused to just be handed it. You were picked, which means you have skill and if you don't fight me for it, it will seem like I was only given it because you didn't want it." She said hands on her hip leaning forward menacingly.

However with her being 5'4, and him standing at 5'10, it didn't really scare him.

Then he remembered she could snap him in half.

Ok, he was scared again.

"B-But I don't want it"

"I don't care, fight me for it"

"Like a sparring match?"

"OF COURSE NOT MORON, you would clearly loose, and it would look like you were giving the victory to me on purpose again."

"Then what Ganesa, what should we do to settle it? Arm wrestle, Simon says, blunderbusses at 20 paces" he joked as he got more and more nervous."

She glared at him.

"…rock, paper, Scissors?"

"…fine then" she huffed.

They stood in front of each other, Yu-mi looking on in faint amusement.

'Ok I'll just pick rock each time and I'll lose and she can be happy' he ready himself.

He was surprised when he won.

She looked down at the ground, trembling in anger.

"You're pretty bad at this, I even did the same thing over and over and you still lost"

She looked back up to him with anger in her eyes "SHUT UP, I'll have you know that…wait did you say you did the same thing over and over?"

"…No"

"You tried to throw it didn't you, DIDN"T YOU!"

He wanted to end this and also, didn't want to end up in the hospital. He admired her spirt just like the last redhead he had met. Looking out the window he started to talk.

"Look Ganesa you care about them don't you, your class mates and your friends, right? You want to help them be the best and I respect that a lot, y-your smart and kind and outgoing and strong. I-I know you'll be the best for them. You can be the person they look to, I'm sure of it. So please accept the position."

He turned back to face her. Her eyes were wide open, mouth in an O and her face was flushed as she looked at him.

'Is she still mad…ugh I'll never understand girls'

She snapped back in to attention and looked in another direction.

"Well" she started "I…I guess I cannot argue with that kind of reasoning. If you're going to say it like that, then I have no choice but to agree take it. But…" she shuffled her feet looking at him with a sad expression "does that mean you don't care about us if you don't wish to fight for it?"

He smiled at her. He knew what was, a nobody and an outcast. He would never be able to have people look at him for answers. To have people put faith in him outside of class work. He just couldn't believe in himself. He was smart and that's was all he was, all he could be.

"It is because I care, that I'm not taking it."

The room was quite for a minute.

"Well…I guess that is settled then. Ms. Roland stay after and I'll tell you your new duties. Mr. Parker you can go, but I want you to know that I meant what I said. You're more than I believe you seem to think you are." Yu-mi finished gazing at him.

He said his goodbyes and left the classroom.

After that little show down, he began his rendition of metal gear solid as he move through the halls.

He didn't go to the classroom that the girl, who he now knew as President Fairchild, had invited him on Monday. He had hoped that she forgot about him. Being a super popular important person, he knew he couldn't be around her. Trying to hang around those kinds of girls, like Liz Allen and Sally Avril, had only netted him locker stuffing's and the dreaded swirly. So he figured he would avoid her and she would forget all about him.

It worked…for one day.

Wednesday he had noticed her scanning the halls for something. He thought it was someone else, but he still kept his distance just in case. The next day however he knew she was looking for him, why else would she be waiting outside all of his classrooms?

He got lucky another girl said hello and drew her attention, as he walked out of his first class of the day. The rest of them however, took all of his abilities to avoid her. Moving in groups of students, the protection of the herd and all, he managed to get away.

She was there again today but at the last two classes she wasn't. Maybe his luck would hold out and she gave up. He looked around a corner with his back to the wall, he was sure people were going to think he was crazy. A black haired girl was typing in her phone walking next to him, probably telling her friends about the spaz she was watching.

'Oh well, I've been called worse.'

Getting out into the grounds, he walked sat down up against a large tree. Pulling out his book labeled The Uses of Gamma Radiation and its Effects on Science by Dr. Bruce Banner and opening it up, he started to read.

Dr. Banner was a genius and he was a big fan of his work. He along, with Dr. Reed Richards and Mr. Tony Stark, were all inspirations to him.

Happily, he read away, ready to lose himself in all Banners theories.

"Wow, that's a big book."

"Oh" he said still reading "it's not that big really."

"It looks pretty complicated."

"True" he agreed "but Dr. Banner is very good about ah…um" He looked up to see who was talking to him.

'…Oh'

Crouching down in front of him with her pink glossed lips in a smile, elbows on her knees and her hands cupping her face, was the girl he had been trying to avoid for the past week.

'…ooh'

Student council President, Second Year Rank one, Ms. Chiffon Fairchild…

'…oooh shit'

"Hello…Peter Parker" she drawled out slowly.

"I think you might have forgotten something."

It wouldn't have been the first time he had been caught in a problem he made for himself.

He had been under pressure before. He had taken test that most adults could only hope to pass in their wildest dreams. He jumped to his feet and was ready to defend himself, before taking a look at her face and quickly crumpled like a ball of paper.

"S-Student c-council p-president Chiffon Fairchild how-how are you doing today" he managed to get out.

Chiffon meanwhile, was still crouched down looking up at him with a frown

"So-so is there anything I can do for you today student council president Chiffon Fairchild"

She slowly began to rise to her feet.

"It pretty nice out today don't you think student council president-"he was saying until.

"Stop"

His words died a slow death in his mouth. He could only hope he wasn't going to join them.

"If I recall I asked you to come to the council room on Monday"

"…yes"

"When you didn't show up I assumed that you forgot and were busy settling in. It was your first full day, I could understand that. I though you would come the next day to apologize…but you didn't did you."

"…ah"

"When I tried to find you I noticed you were avoiding me. I then pulled your class schedule to confront you but, to my surprise, you still slipped through my fingers"

"…um"

"Today Instead, I had someone else follow you, to tell me where you were going so that we could have a little met up…and here we are."

"So will you tell me why you're avoiding me Peter?"

He had to think this over carefully, to make her understand his reasons.

"W-well I didn't want to bother you student-"

"Chiffon, my name is Chiffon and my tittle on the other hand, is not my name. So stop calling me by it. Also, how could you bother me when I was the one who asked you to come?"

'Yes Peter, how is that?'

"I didn't want to waste your time"

"Waste my time? You're telling me I don't know how to spend my time then?"

'Oh my god why, why do girls keep twisting my words'

He had to get control of this conversation before he ended up looking like more of an idiot, if that was still even possible.

"I-I I just…look you are one of the most important and popular people on this campus. From what everyone has told me you have earned every title you have been given. Me on the other hand, I'm what you would call an unpopular person, I'm a nerd and I read books and build electronics. I sit in the library after school and I can recite pie to a hundred places. You and I don't belong in the same circle. You're a star and you shouldn't waste your time talking to me. If the others are right, social statuses play a big part in the school. The two of us are on the complete opposite sides." He finished quietly rubbing his arm avoiding eye contact.

'Well that was a sad little speech' she said to herself.

She had been upset when Monday rolled around and he didn't show. Going into the rest of the week, that brief sadness turned to annoyance. She admitted if she didn't feel like she owed him for his help, she most likely would have forgotten about him.

Since however, she did feel that way, she decided that further investigation was needed. Trying to locate him in the hall quickly had turned into a bust. Even when she believed to have seen him, he would disappear into the crowd. She then went into his class listings, the benefits of her position, and searched for their times. The idea being she could grab him as he left class.

Again however, he got away.

Now it was a matter of pride for her to find him. She couldn't let herself be duped by a first year. Choosing on dragging her best friend Ticy Phenyl into it, she gave her his schedule and had her shadow him instead.

It would seem that the third time was the charm as Ticy sent her the location of her prey. Bolting over to it, she slowly approached him sitting at the base of a tree. After putting some good old fashion fear into him she was both pleased and dishearten at his explanation. She was pleased because it wasn't because he was afraid of her, that he was avoiding her for.

It was a concern she definitely was not looking forward to having to deal with for another three years with other students. Even after all the work she put into her personality, the students in her year still had trouble overlooking what happened at the summer carnival last year. You'd think she had killed someone.

Though admittedly, she had come close.

She was disheartened because his explanation wasn't as untrue as she wished it was. It was a simple fact, that if you were more popular and well connected, life was easier here. It shouldn't matter, and it didn't to her, where you came from. You were here to make a difference and that is all that should matter.

Thankfully, other top Pandora like Elizabeth Mably also felt the same way. However, there were still others, disregarding anyone who wasn't on their own level. Humans sometimes were such fickle creatures.

'I always find the problem ones, don't I' maybe it was a gift?

"Would you do it again? Would you help me even now knowing who I am Peter?" she asked him after a while.

She watched as he struggled with the answer before looking at her and gulping "…Yes."

'Good boy'

She clapped her hands together "Wonderful, here is your bag" she handed it to him "your book" giving him the book finding amusement at the dumbstruck look on his face. "I'm taking your hand."

"Wait what?!" taking his hand, she pulled him along.

"W-what where are you taking me?" he stuttered with a blush on his face as she lead him through the campus. "Why to the clubroom of course" she said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Why?" he asked "for the tea I promised you" she answered.

"Ok…ok can you um let go of my hand and I'll follow you" saying as he looked around the grounds, seeing people starting to point and giggle at the two.

"No" she answered him "you're pretty sneaky, I don't want you to slip away again."

That was the truth though, she sat in front of each of his rooms on Thursday and he still got around her. Now, she could have plowed through the kids in each class till she found him true, but that was frowned upon by the staff.

After a five minute walk of what had become a total embarrassment for Peter, at last, they arrived at the room. Opening the door she saw Ticy moving about with a couple papers in her hands. "Wait I know you!" she heard Peter exclaimed "You're the girl who followed me around the hall earlier. Wait, so that means you're the one who sold me out then" he grumbled.

Ticy looked over to him with a smile "yep."

"Peter this is Ticy Phenyl both my Vice President and my best friend and Ticy I've told you about him already" she introduced the two of them. She watched them shake hands

"I hope the pay was good enough for you Narc" he joked.

Ticy responded back "it's nothing personal, just business, you understand" she smiled at him.

Happy that her old friend and buddying new one could get along, she started to set up the tea set. "Will you be staying Ticy?"

Ticy frowned "no, I have to drop the signup sheets for the spring festival at Sister Margaret's office."

Peter looked over to her "well I guess it was nice to meet you." She smiled "same here, maybe next time we both can do some 007 stuff in the halls together" Ticy said making fun of the hiding he did earlier. The text messages Ticy sent her were certainly amusing.

"Funny, well then I guess I'll see you around someday"

"Don't worry Peter, you'll see her again on Monday" Chiffon pointed out.

"He will?"

"I will?"

"Oh yes Peter, you didn't think I was going to let you get away with ducking me all this week, did you?" giving him a teasing smile.

"But… wait-" he started.

"Oh, what was that Peter? You want to come Tuesday as well? Sure we'd love to have you."

"No I didn't mean-"he tried to finish.

"Oh, you want to come every day next week? Great I'm sure we'll have lots of fun."

He then shut his mouth. Listing to Ticy giggling at him and Chiffon ready to jump on his words, he sagged in his chair, there was no escaping this. "Now…would you like one lump of sugar or two" asking as she put the cup in front of him.

"…one lump."

'This was the best day I've had in a while' she thought to herself,

'This was the worst day I've had in a while' he thought to himself.

He had effectively been taken hostage by a 5'5 creature of pure sugar and sweetness. He couldn't even be mad at her for it, she was so nice that every time he tried to be, she would just give him a big smile and he'd fall apart. She was devious.

Besides, what would complaining have got him anyway, having to spend even more time there?

He was finally walking back to his room, hungry and exhausted from the whole day. He had survived the whole week on snack machines, avoiding any big area Chiffon could have been at.

Now however, since the situation was handled, he guessed he could start going there now. Chewing on his animal crackers, he admitted it wasn't as bad as he though. Chiffon was... fun, he guessed, to be around and resembled Mary Jane on a sugar high.

She had asked him a few simple questions about himself, not pressing too much into personal questions like family or such. Mostly they talked about Genetics and the people in it, giving him a few warnings about people to be aware of.

One such person being Miyabi Kannazuki, who was apparently nicknamed the limiter glutton.

'Yeah, that name doesn't inspire fear or anything' he though as he sat on his bed.

Tomorrow he would call May and Ben. He wished to talk to them today, but, by the time his day was done it was like four am over there. He already missed them a bunch. He was also sure they would find his current problems funny.

He guessed somebody should.

AN: Another chapter done. Got some world building done and Peter gets to spend even more time with Chiffon. I think the hardest part of writing, besides grammar, is trying to think like the characters you're writing for. How does Chiffon look at the world? Is Osborn a huge jerk in his own head? It's kind of difficult. I hope I pulled Norman off as both powerful as well as a conniving man. Not some B list super villain. Anyway Hope you enjoyed delta144 out.
