The port town of Hargeon, usually bustling with it's citizens and tourists alike, was currently devoid of both as a big group of wizards shouted and cheered at the defeat of the evil dragon Acnologia, bringing an end to the Dragon Kings era.

Erza stood there just looking up at the sky, letting her eyes close and tears run down her cheeks in relief, she then wiped her eyes as she took in her surroundings. To her right she could see Juvia pounce into Grays arms, the topless man smiling at the blue haired woman as he caught her, she also spotted others hugging each other and jumping up and down.

There was a shattering sound in the sky that she had heard before as she felt a sudden dread, however as she looked up, she could see the Dragon Slayers all falling to the ground. She sighed in relief as she noted that they were alive.

In front of her she spotted most of Crime Sorciere, she smiled over to them as she caught Meredy's eye and walked over. She along with the rest of Crime Sorciere were shocked to see their remaining member teleport right in front of them courtesy of Mest, they all cheered as Meredy jumped onto his back in a back hug, she then smiled over at the approaching mage.

"Erza, over here" Meredy bounced up and down then ran over to the red haired woman and dragged her over to their group.

"Hello everyone" The knight smiled at the group, her eyes landing on the man she had fought with not too long ago and she looked down, her cheeks dusted with pink as she remembered the compromising positions they found themselves in on the Christina.

Everyone smiled back to her and chimed their hellos all but one, the man she hid her face from currently was also looking down with a similar expression on his face as Eric chose that moment to commentate what Erza was thinking about to the group.

"I see how it is Titania, you wanted alone time on that ship didn't you, it's a shame the pipsqueek was crushed between you."

"Eric, that's enough" The blue haired man growled as he balled his fists up, Erza, who was now looking flustered was currently waving her hands in front of her, face now bright red as she tried to reassure Jellal that she wasn't thinking that at all.

Being the first to calm down, Erza took it upon herself to walk up to Jellal and wrap her arms around his middle. Noticing that Erza wanted some alone time with the man she loved, Meredy and Sorano had dragged the men of their guild away from the private moment.

Upon feeling her arms around him and her head on his shoulder, he stiffened but then felt himself relax a bit as he felt his shirt grow damp on his shoulder. He in turn wrapped his arms around her,

"I'm so glad you're alright, I was so scared when you were fighting him." She then took a deep breath,

"Then you were crushed, please, please never put yourself in that position again." She wrapped her arms slightly tighter around him as more tears came, he bent his head down and laid it on her shoulder.

After a few minutes of trying to collect his thoughts, he raised his head until his lips brushed the shell of her ear, taking a deep breath.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't want to worry you, I thought it was the only way to defeat him." He whispered into her ear, his voice shaking slightly.

She then took a deep breath, took a step back out of his hold and with burning eyes looking straight into his, she repeated a phrase she had told him before,

"Never treat your life as insignificant." He looked into her eyes and smiled his first real smile in a long while, taking her right hand into his and holding it lightly he sighed,

"I won't"

"I'm glad she whispered.

The emotional pair were interrupted at that moment by the voice of Fairy Tail's Master, they let go of each other and listened.

"Everyone, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in this very difficult war, I know there were a lot of lives lost and there is also a lot of rebuilding to do in many towns, however tonight our guild will host those who wish to stay and celebrate this victory.

At this Erza turned her head to the right, Jellal looked at her and nodded to her unasked question.

"Everyone is welcome to stay at Fairy Hills tonight, even men" The master said this with a sly expression on his old face as he looked at Erza and was met with a nod from the red head.

Everyone started to walk back to Magnolia, Mest had been kind enough to teleport Makarov and Porlyusica back home himself. Jellal and Erza walked back side by side joined by team Natsu and Crime Sorciere.

"So Jellal" The man turned to where the voice came from behind him, he looked and noticed Meredy and Sorano giggling, Meredy then asked her question now she had his attention.

"How long are we going to stay in Magnolia for?"

"We will stay and help rebuild as long as we can have regular updates on Rune Knight location so we are not caught."

The girls cheered, Wendy walked up to Erza, took her hand and gave it a little squeeze in excitement, she was well aware of how relieved the woman was to hear his answer.

"I'm glad you are all staying, I want to get to know you all better" The young Dragon Slayer looked up at Jellal with a cute smile, he smiled back at her warmly.

Relief set in for everyone as they reached the cobblestone roads of Magnolia, some of the Fairy Tail members raced ahead to the guild eager to start partying, the rest of them followed at a far more leisurely pace. At some point on the walk back, Erzas hand had found Jellal's, at first he tried to let go, upon seeing the relaxed expression on her face though, he reconsidered.

When they reached the guildhall they all entered the half that wasn't destroyed and started to help set everything up, they stocked a temporary outdoor bar and Mira, Lisanna and Kinana headed over to see if the kitchen was still intact which they sighed in relief to see that it was.

Once the party had officially started several people, Jellal and Erza included found themselves sat around a very large campfire, thanks to Laki and Natsu they could keep themselves warm.

They were sat next to each other, Erza had her head leaning on his shoulder with her eyes closed and a content smile on her lips.

Erza spotted Wendy, Chelia and Charle in human form heading over to the campfire with a plate of food each, the red headed woman called out to them and they came over to the two.

"Mind if we join you?" Wendy asked shyly, part of her not wanting to disturb them.

"Of course you can, come and sit" Erza patted the space next to her. They were also soon joined by Meredy and Juvia once a brawl started.

It was nearing two am and the party was still going strong, alcohol was now flowing more than ever and everyone was clearly very intoxicated including the red head and bluenette. At some point, Wendy had fallen asleep in Erza's lap and Charle was chatting merrily with Chelia sat next to Erza.

Jellal now had his arm around her shoulder as he whispered into her ear with a sensual expression on clear on his face,

"You wanna go somewhere else Scarlet?" Said woman looked at him and blushed as she stopped running her hand through Wendy's hair. He started to stand but stumbled back down.

"You are clearly too drunk Fernandes" She whispered back with a small sly smile,

"Stay here for now" She grabbed his hand with her free one and he rested his head on her shoulder, not long after that she heard soft snores and his breath tickling her neck.
