Thank you to the Guest who reviewed my story. I am very new to writing fiction and would love if anybody could give me some helpful tips.

The first thing Jellal became aware of as he started to regain consciousness was a weight all over his torso, he also felt very comfortable in the bed he was currently in, so comfortable that he didn't even want to open his eyes. Curiosity got the better of him though as he wondered what the weight on top of him was so he opened his eyes, he let out a small gasp as he saw the love of his life laying on top of him and her breathing told him she was in a deep sleep.

Letting out a sigh, he turned his head towards the window where the curtains had not been drawn the night before in their alcohol induced state, he noticed the sun was high in the sky and guessed it to be late morning to lunch time. He looked down at the woman wrapped in his arms and thought it best to try and wake her, he knew she would probably want to see her guild mates today to make sure everyone was alright.

"Erza, time to wake up" He murmured lowly as he rubbed circles with one hand on her back, she groaned and grumbled something he could not quite understand.

"What was that Erza" He replied,

"Hmmm, but you are so comfy, beds should not be talking, beds don't talk, eugh let me sleep."

Jellal struggled not to laugh at her as she snuggled in deeper and wrapped her arms around him tighter still muttering incoherently.

"Hmmmm, well I guess I will just have to have the strawberry cake all for myself then." Jellal replied as he failed at laughing in between words, only realising his mistake too late.

"No-one will have my cake" She growled, eyes only just opening her eyes as she looked up.

Realising who she was using as a bed and who had threatened her precious strawberry cake, she blushed and muttered an apology.

"Sorry, oh erm, good morning Jellal" Erza stuttered meekly as she moved off of the man and sat beside him as he mimicked her and also sat up, both backs against the head rest.

"I'm sorry to wake you Erza but it's getting late, we should get something to eat."

"Oh erm, of course, I have some food in the kitchen downstairs" Erza replied as they got out of bed and she started to head to the shower but paused.

"Oh, do you want to use the shower?"

"You go first Erza, i'll make us a cup of tea." Jellal said as he smiled back at the woman he loves, he gets up as the bathroom door closes and makes his way out to the little kitchenette to make them both a cup of tea.

After trading places for the shower they sit down on the little two seater she has and drink their tea, Jellal can't help notice that Erza seems quite uncomfortable and puts an arm around the back of her shoulders.

"What's the matter?" Jellal looks down at her with the softest expression.

"Errrrm..Well..my memory of last night came back to me and erm...do you remember?" He leans his head sideways and brushes his head into her hair as he smiles shyly.

"Yeah, I do" He replies although muffled, she can still understand his answer despite her embarrassment she decides to push a little further.

"And did you like it? I did" She lowers her head now and closes her eyes tight, after a brief moment of silence she gets her reply in the form of Jellal lifting her head up to face him with two fingers under her chin, he leans to her ear and whispers a simple "Yes" he then brings his lips to hers in a soft brief kiss. Erza's eyes become wide in shock before a moment later she relaxes, closing her eyes and answers his kiss.

Once they break apart, he leans his forehead against hers and tries to steady his breath, she is very much in the same condition as she lets out the slightest giggle that is so unlike her it catches him off guard but he can't help smile back at her as she climbs on his lap facing him and buries her face into his neck and relaxes there for a while.

Sitting there with the woman he loves in his lap, Jellal can't help but think that he should not be doing this, memories start coming back to him from when he tried to sacrifice her and he unintentionally lets out the smallest of sniffles before wiping his eyes.

"What's wrong Jellal?" Erza had raised herself up the moment she heard him sniffle and gave him the kindest look he has ever seen.

"I shouldn't be doing this, I don't deserve this." Erza sighs and climbs off of his lap as she then puts her hand on the side of his head and directs it into her neck.

"Of course you do, you have more than made up for your sins by now" Jellal sighs and doesn't even hide the fact that he is crying now.

"I'll never be able to make up for what I did." He mutters bitterly and she gasps at his tone of voice which is so full of self hatred.

"Jellal, can you listen to what I'm going to say until the end?" She feels him nod his head in her neck.

"I love you Jellal, I think I always have in some form or another. When we were children, I admired you so much, you were everyones rock and picked everyone up when we were sad or upset. I despised you when you banished me from the tower, I could not understand the sudden change, but I couldn't forget the boy I had admired so much and that was why I trained so hard for years to rescue you all, and you know what? Even though I despised you while we were fighting in the tower all those years later, I still loved you. When you turned up again with amnesia, I was so happy to see you after the initial shock because I could help you then to start your journey to heal."

Jellal let out a gasp as he took in her speech, he lifted his head up and looked her directly in the eyes.

"It is time for you to start healing yourself and I wish to help you. We can do that by doing what we want to do which is love each other and act on that." She was answered with a simple nod as she took a chance and leaned forward towards his face and captured his lips in a simple kiss which he reciprocated.

After a while of sitting on the couch drinking tea, talking and having the occasional kiss, the pair decided to get up and head to the main kitchen of the house. Before they even got there they could hear that it was busy in there, Erza opened the door, entering with Jellal following behind her the room went silent.

"Good morning you two, did you sleep well?" It was Mirajane to the rescue and after replying to her greeting, she asked for their lunch order as the pair sat down and got on with their lunch.
