Carmelita monologue
It turns out this Mona Lita Fox is another one of my ancestors. She was also apparently a famous detective who is undercover and was arrested for art forgerty. Her undercover skills came from her acting days when she was in drama class plays. When she would play the role of a detective on stage, she realized that she could actually be a real one. She soon started solving cases undercover and was as good at the disguise game as Thadeus; in fact, she was the only one who was able to see though his disguises.
When Ven caught them, he imprisoned them in the sewers while he planned the amusement park.
End monologue
"And who is that?" Mona asked.
"That's Sly Cooper, my future relative," the raccoon ancestor replied.
"With all the rubbish that's been happening around here," Mona said, "I believe you."
"And I've devised plans that can help us sort through it," Bentley said, "this next one will involve Sly at the arcade."
"Alright, then," the raccoon said, and headed out and towards the arcade.
"Sly," said Bentley through the binnocucom, as soon as he was a few feet from the arcade, "I have a hunch that we'll need to use the amusement rides to our advantage here. And if we're going to do that, then we have to make ALL the rollercoasters, carousels and rides go on manual controls instead of auto. The terminal that controls the settings is inside that arcade. The name of it is the Red Queen Arcade."
"A-all righte," said Sly in his poorly done Italian accent, "hacka the systema Einsteine!"
"Please stop with that annoying accent Sly," Bentley always thought Sly's Italian accent was terrible ever since their heist in Venice, and worse, he kept using it from time to time, "and if the system was hackable, I would have done it hours ago! No, Ven St. Claire used his voodoo magic to make the terminal hack-safe. The terminal must be destroyed by force!"
"I guess I'm the man for the job," Sly concluded, "I'm going in..."
"No," said Bentley, "not yet! You see, that arcade is packed with guards and booby traps! You'll have to obtain a new costume, the Mascot Costume!"
—"Mascot Costume? Okey! I can make the guards laugh themselves to death, But how am I going to address the booby traps?"
"Very funny," Bentley wasn't amused by Sly's joke, "if I have read Brittish Myths with sufficient care, I should know that this costume can control guards' minds, and make them fall into traps!"
—"Sounds sweet! Where can I found the outfit?"
"See that sleeping dormouse over there?" Bentley started to explain, "his name is Tricky Tom. He is Wonderland's mascot. Steal his suit!"
"I'm on it," said Sly, and he put his binocucom away.
He just quietly walked by Tom, who was asleep in a chair, just snoring away, so taking the costume was a breeze.
"Excellent Sly," Bentley said through the earpiece, "you have it! Go to the arcade now!"
Once Sly was at the door, Bentley gave further instruction.
"Use that guard to get in! Press the circle button to take out your autograph book. Then press the square button to dance. The guard will come, and write his name in the book. Then you have him! Press the L1 button to make the guard run right into the door! Pretty fun, isn't?"
"The circle, what?!" Sly asked, confused by the turtle's video game jargon.
"Just take out your autograph book, do a little jig, then when the guard is distracted, smash him into the door to destroy it."
"Alright, said Sly, "time to play!"
Sly walked into the arcade. To his right, he spotted a Pesky Pony and a fire trap. He walked up to the guard and made sure he was spotted.
"Hey!" Exclaimed the pony, "it's the Dodo! I really know it's you, Tom."
Sly started to do a hopping dance.
"Hey, 'Dodo'," the pony said tongue-in-cheekly, "how's about an autograph?"
Sly took out the autograph book and while the pony took out his pen, Sly swung the guard into the fire.
The Pesky Pony screamed in anguish and he ran off to try and extinguish himself outside.
Sly progressed into the next room, where he spotted five more guards; four Horrible Hares and Pa Pesky Pony.
"You can also use a guard as a weapon," Bentley told him, "Just grab a guard and it will attack other guards nearby!"
—"Oh yeah! Back up!"
He grabbed the pony, which made the equine start flailing.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Exclaimed the pony. Sly held on to the pony and swung him around into the other guards, causing the pony to knock them all over. When he finally let go, the pony ran into a wall, destroying it.
Sly finally made it inside a room with a large terminal in the center, which was the arcade room.
"Oh! I've been looking forward to this," Sly gave it a big whack with his cane, but it had no effect and didn't even leave a dent, "that didn't work out as well as I thought..."
"Drat," said Bentley, "we were so close."
At that moment, five Pesky Ponies walked into the arcade.
"Hmm..." Bentley pondered.
Sly grabbed one of the ponies and made him flail just like the previous ones, then pushed him, causing him to run into the computer, damaging it a little. He took the next pony and repeated the process. After that, he grabbed yet another and did so once more, until the impact of the third pony knocked the other two down and ran into the computer, causing it to explode.
"Blimey Sly," Thaddeus exclaimed, "I don't know how you did it, but, that was..."
"...AWESOME Sly," Murray boisterously added, "AWESOME!"
"Yes, Sly," Bentley said, "Awesome! Get back to the Hideout now! I want to examine that costume!"
