My stomach growls. I didn't eat much of the breakfast James brought, there was too much else going on. I guess it must be about lunch time now.
James hears it and looks over at me. "Wanna head up to the castle?"
"Yeah, that sounds good. Padfoot, wanna transform back?"
He wags his tail and trots off away from the castle. I look over at James, confused. He meets my eyes and shrugs, then heads after Sirius.
Ok. Well, I really do want to eat soon, but Sirius's ideas have been pretty good recently, so I guess we can follow along for now.
Once it's clear that we're heading for the forest, I understand.
As soon as we reach the shade of the trees, Padfoot disappears and Sirius takes his place, smiling sheepishly.
James grins back.
I hug Sirius in happiness and relief. "That was amazing."
