"You've changed Jellal" Erza said with a kind smile on her face as she turned her head to face the man next to her.
"It's all thanks to you" Jellal smiled back at her and placed his hand on top of hers, his body seemed to be moving on its own accord wanting to make his feelings known to her as he pulled her into a tight hug.
He heard a gasp of surprise from the scarlet haired woman in his arms as her eyes grew wide not knowing what had just happened,
"I can love people freely now" he murmured just loud enough for her to hear as she relaxed herself, closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around the man she has been in love with for years.
"That's true" she agreed with a sigh of content as tears started to leak out of her eyes and she gave a little sniffle.
"What's the matter Erza? Did I say something wrong?" Jellal pulled back slightly to get a good look at her face, however Erza just pulled right back into him to hide her face and continued to wet his clothes.
"N-no you didn't, I-i am just so happy right now, you've done nothing wrong" She mumbled into his clothes but he could hear her clear enough. He pulled back from her a bit and looked down at her as he lowered his forehead to hers, he whispered the three magic words she had longed to hear from him as he then placed a soft kiss there making her blush.
Jellal stepped back a bit and Erza looked up at him in surprise, He took her hand and started to lead her over the bridge and back to the small shopping district.
"Are you hungry?" He asked while leading her to where there was a small chain of shops and restaurants.
"I am a bit now that you mention it" She replied just as they were coming up to a cosy looking restaurant with just a few tables in it. Seeing there was a table empty they decided to take their chances.
Entering the restaurant they were greeted with light smooth music and a smiling waiter who seated them and handed them their menus. After a while of looking they decided to both have a steak and Jellal ordered them a bottle of red wine, the waiter also offered to light the candle on the table to which the pair accepted.
Dinner was going smoothly as they talked about his mission in tracking the White Mage and his treks to the other guilds in his search. She asked how they all were and he continued with his story leading him to Fairy Tail. Erza in turn asked him what bought about his change of heart which he took the liberty of explaining his fight with Gears and Ultears' involvement, she took hold of his hand over the table with both of hers and stroked over his with her thumbs.
Dinner went smoothly as they ate and drank their wine, they left the restaurant and walked back towards the bridge to the park on the other side.
