Victoria stood up and brushed the sand off her skirt, still confused about what just happened she

stood up and began walking home the only thought that crossed her mind was of him that strange

young man who gazed at her from across the river. When she got back to her Aunt's house she was

greeted with stern sharp words "where on earth have you been Victoria! " spit her Aunt with an

edge to her voice, "I was only out for a walk in the forest" "well go to your room at once, I have

guests over and I will not let you embarrass me" replied Lorraine. Without complaint Victoria

trudged slowly to her 'room' and shut the door with a *slam* this room was barely the size of a

cupboard and only had room for a small single bed, a set of drawers and a wardrobe.

Victoria lay down on her bed and began silently crying (she hardly ever cried because she didn't see

the point in it and she only cried if she was really upset) after a while feel asleep, she was there

again the fog sat thickly in the air making it hard to see, Victoria stumbled through the fog and again

she felt the urge to run but she didn't, she stood her ground and that is when she saw it a pale white

figure with blood red eyes, long fingers with sharp nails and fresh blood dripping from its face,

"shreeeeeeeee" cried the creature, it began bolting towards Victoria teeth bared, Victoria was

frozen on the spot unable to move, paralysed with fear. The creature jumped on top of her knocking

her down and it sunk its nails into her arm to stop her from moving, rearing it's head back and

getting ready to eat her, Victoria closed her eyes as she felt the end coming near she waited but

nothing happened, she open her eyes slowly and saw the creature lying stone dead on the ground

with a knife wound in its stomach, Victoria woke up and found herself back in the small room.

The next day she was determined to find the mysterious boy who stood across the river. She crept

slowly down the stairs and into the hallway trying not to wake her aunt who was experiencing a

massive hangover. When she reached the back door she pulled on her shoes and slowly left the

house closing the door behind her with a small *bang, when she had reached the river she began

looking for a way across that's when she spotted stepping stones that lead right across the river, she

slowly placed one foot on the fist stone and began to cross the river, when she was finally across she

began walking, she wasn't sure what direction to go in, so she decided to walk forward the sticks and

foliage crunched beneath her feet after an hour of walking through the forest she saw something,

turrets like the ones on a castle, walking closer to them she saw the whole building, it was a

magnificent castle with towers and turrets, it had a huge wall around it that contained a garden, the

castle its self was on a very steep hill as to make it almost inaccessible, Victoria began walking, 20

minutes later she reached the door. Turning her hand into a fist she began to knock *knock knock

knock* made the noise of the wooden door
