(As the day went on, Thomas and Edward searched high and low for Bill and ben. They looked on the old branchlines, The harbors, sheds, and even had Berite, Trevor and Terance to look on the roads, but to no avail. when the E2 chuffed back into his breath, he was exhausted and defeated as Lady looked at him worriedly.)

Lady: any luck finding them?

Thomas: no. none. it's very strange. yesterday, those two were in the china clay works doing their job and jokes as they usually are, and then the day after, they vanished off of the face of the island.

Lady: where do you think they might be?

Thomas: I have no idea.

(meanwhile, percy was pulling the mail train as usual. The little green engine was getting thirsty, and so stopped next to a water tower for a drink. as percy gulped down the water, he began to feel sick.)

Percy: arugh! what's in this thing. it's tastes so gross. oh I think i'm going to hurl.

??????: oh you better not.

(Percy then looked ahead of him to find a shape of a diesel backing towards him. Then, the diesel roared it's engine as it began to pull Percy away and into the darkness.) (The next morning, Thomas, Lady, Timothy and Toby awoke to find Sir Topham hatt looking quite stearn. the stout gentleman then looked towards the 4 engines as he spoke to them.)

STH: Morning engines. I'm apologies if you're awoken much earlier than usual, but we've got a serious situation on our hands.

Thomas: What situation?

(Then Thomas's question was answered when Duck pulled into the yards, and behind him, stood two red vans that the E2 instantly recognized.)

Thomas: Oh my gosh! Those are Percy's mail trucks!

STH: indeed they are. and this morning, they were found just sitting on the track with no engine. along with complaints from clients not getting their mail

Timothy: Odd. Percy always delivers it on time.

STH: yes. and which is why I am here now, to let you know that we must keep an eye out for him.

(the engines nodded and then sat off to do their work.) (Meanwhile... off of sodor, percy groaned as he opened his eyes, then, they shot wide open, as he looked at his surroundings. The little green saddle tank was off the rails and the place where he stood had the smell of diesel oil, and many rusted engines piled high or scattered about, with no life left within them, he knew what this place was.)

Percy: I'm on the other railway?! But, how?! (remembers what happened the night before.) oh, right, I was brought here against my will by a diesel.

????: Percy?!

???: Is that you?!

(Percy then looked over to see two little yellow tank engines who were familiar.)

Percy: Bill! Ben! There you are! Everyone on sodor is worried about you both.

Bill: We know.

Ben: But, the diesels won't let us leave. They said they needed us as bait.

Percy: Bait? What kind of bait would we be?

????????: The kind that would lure the lost engine to her doom.

(Percy looked over and scowled as he saw a familiar class 42 warship with a hydraulic claw.)

Percy: Diesel 10!

Diesel 10: well, hello green caterpillar. It's been awhile hasn't it?

Percy: Get scrapped you freakshow!

Diesel 10: oh... how rude of you. (moves claw towards percy) now then, though it's quite tempting, I rather wait to do any scrapping until I've slain my one and true target.

Percy: oh let me guess, Lady?

Diesel 10: correct. Knowing the kind hearted engine she is, there will be a breaking point to where she'll be able to stand all these kidnappings and come running here and once she does, I'll have my allies trap her and then... (closes claw) POOF! the age of steam will come to an end.

Percy: (scowls) You won't get away with this!

Diesel 10: oh yeah? and who's going to do something about it? You're stuck and off the tracks. so the only thing you can do is watch and live your final moments. (starts up engine) savor your final moments while you can puffballs! (laughs maniacally)

(as diesel 10 rolled away laughing maniacally, Percy, Bill and Ben exchanged worried looks. Though they tried to deny it, Diesel 10's victory was in sight without a doubt.)

To be continued...
