A very bizarre man once believed if he could control time itself, he would be the ruler of everything. Nothing would ever stand before him.

Two men stand on a long catwalk above a massive pit. On one side, a younger male with intense wounds pouring blood. On the other, a much older man.

The younger one held tightly onto the railing, stumbling with every step.

"Stay right there. With your wounds, you have no chance of defeating my stand, 'Destiny Dies with You'.

One shot would allow me to immediately change your past and fate. You never would've met me."

The younger one panted heavily. His wounds rendered him exhausted and on the verge of death. He'd been hit with the direct attacks of the stand 'DD2', but his ranged attack was far more dangerous. 'Destiny Dies with You' had the power to travel back to any meaningful point in anyone's life, even it was a small choice. As long as that choice had some kind of 'snowball effect', it could be altered, and they never would've experienced that path of life.

"You may be on the brink of death, but I must give compliments to your stand. 'Dandelion Drive' is an incredibly powerful ability, holding the power to slow down time. However, in your current state, you'd destroy yourself if you used it."

'Dandelion Drive' can slow down time but it had limits. Its range was short and could only be activated in a bubble shaped area from its user. Everything around the user still follows the normal passage of time, but within the bubble time was slowed for everyone except the user. The stand isn't very visible, only appearing for a second as the bubble is created. The bigger the bubble, the bigger the stand's physical appearance. Its range was maximum the size of a small park, but if the user were to extend their stand at a range of the length of two average-sized cars in every direction, the stand would begin harming the user. This works for how slow the user chooses time to be. The more power exerted by the user, the more damage it can do to the user's body. The damage also considers the user's physical ability and state. A more physically stronger user would allow more power to be exerted at once. Someone who is in critical state would be unable to use the stand due to high risk of it destroying them.

This is the main weakness behind 'Dandelion Drive'.

"There's nowhere left for you to run, you'll likely die of your wounds soon regardless of what you do."

"F-Fuck… Everything hurts… I can barely see five meters ahead of me… Even if I activate my stand, he's too far… He's in my range, but… If I activate Dandelion Drive… I'll be torn apart. J-Just one more step-"

"This is it! There's no way out of this now, you coward. Show me. Show me how powerful your Resolve is! Draw!"

"D-Dandelion Drive! DD2!"

Dandelion Drive is now in action! The bubble reaches far enough to surround DD2's user!

A thin, white line shot half a meter away from hitting his face, approaching him much slower but still closing in on him. He had just enough time to duck under the main attack, but he knew this was planned. This is what they had meant by 'Resolve'. If time were to go back to normal again, he'd never get another chance. He used all of his strength to approach them, feeling a sharp pain in his arm as he overexerted Dandelion Drive's power, a large chunk of his flesh ripping open as blood poured from it.

With troubled steps, he walked one step closer, the pain gradually increasing with every second Dandelion Drive was kept out.

"I-I'm so close… Just a little more… G-GAH..-!"

A searing pain was felt in his thigh as he fell to his knees, unable to keep his balance. His vision shifted upwards, even in slowed time, DD2 had shot another beam towards him, and there was no way out. The beam hit him directly in the forehead. DD2's attack had worked.

Dandelion Drive ceases its ability. Time reverts back to normal.

"Y-Yes…! I've done it! I've defeated Dandelion Drive! You will never bother me ever again! Destiny Dies with-!"

Dandelion Drive resumes its ability.

"W-What...?"

Time slows.

Time slows more.

Dandelion Drive's bubble is too large to be visible.

The clouds in the sky stop moving.

Time has stopped moving.

The clouds in the sky begin reversing.

The damage done by Dandelion Drive is being reversed. The blood is flowing back into his wounds.

Both stand users cry out in shock.

"W-What-! What's going on!?"

Far away from the two users, Dandelion Drive had stopped revolving around its user. It's new rotation… The core of the Earth! Dandelion Drive was reversing time for the entire planet!

Dandelion Drive's user recoiled in shock, his wounds were rapidly healing.

"Is this..!? Act 2!? No… There's no way it could be-!"

A sudden revelation came over the user, along with his strength and confidence rapidly rising.

"The… The man who controls time is the one who can be deemed as the ruler of everything. This… This isn't Act 2 at all! This is…

'Dandelion Drive – Ruler of Everything'!"

Dandelion Drive – Ruler of Everything is now in effect!

Time is reversing!

DD2's user looked back at his now fully healed opponent, walking backwards away in terror.

Dandelion Drive's user had a new burning passion within him, he felt full of energy, and a complete lack of mercy for the one before him.

"N-No-! I was so close-! Y-You…! You dirty rat! DD2!"

"Dandelion Drive!"

Time has been slowed to a near stop.

DD2's attack flew at a pathetically slow speed, allowing him to easily just duck below it. While Dandelion Drive has no physical attacks itself, in slowed time, the user's own punches are much faster and much harder to their opponent.

"You're strong, I'll give you that. My new power, Ruler of Everything, I don't know much about it, but I know for certain that it's invincible to a stand like yours. Although, I must say, you had a very nice run, DD2."

"DARARARARARARARARA!"

"No-! G-GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH-"
