Wazzup, Wazzup, Wazzup guys! I'm back again! And what's this!? Another chapter in a few days time!?

Well, let me explain. I have time right now. Like literally, a shit ton of time right now. Why? I have my drive back in terms of writing. As for the updates of the rest of my stories? It's on its way. Especially my most popular one. (you guys know what that is)

Now, I updated this first because many pm'ed me to release another chapter on this new fic of mine and poof! It became coco crunch!

Next I'll be updating is the ever requested The Jūbi no Sekiryuutei, lest yall fishout your pitchforks and torches on me.

Anywho, enough of this. On with the fic!

Chapter 2

Agreement

Power. Unimaginable power. That is what Ozpin could describe of the boy that was seating in front of him after seeing what he could do.

After convincing – albeit the boy humoring him – to follow him to his school, they find themselves in his office just below the clock tower. Said boy was also looking at him nonchalantly like his presence doesn't even phase him.

Even the ever strict, Glynda Goodwitch and her signature glower – read: resting bitch face – doesn't even made him flinch when he looked at her from time to time.

To say the atmosphere was awkward was an understatement. The boy still wouldn't answer him of his inquiries.

He would just stare at him, and then to Glynda, then back again to him. Why? He wouldn't know, couldn't say, but it has been somewhat thirty minutes since they arrived at his office.

Then suddenly, the blonde stiffened. The boy closed his eyes and Ozpin saw that his breathing even out for second before looking at him again straight to his eyes.

Ozpin was about to question him again before the blonde suddenly spoke, "Apologies. Filtering a ton of information that's entering my mind can be a bit mind numbing."

O-kay... What?

"Pardon? What do you mean a ton of information? And since when could you speak our language?" Asked Ozpin.

The blonde narrowed his eyes before answering with a question of his own, "And since when could you speak my language when you talked to me in the forest?"

The boy is smart. Ozpin could give him that. Nonetheless, the question did catch him off-guard there.

Ozpin cleared his throat before he answered, "Regardless, could you elaborate what you said, young man?"

Naruto crossed his arms on his chest before answering, "And why would I do that?"

Ozpin didn't answer. He was about to, mind you, but his blonde friend answered him first, "Insolent child. Show some respect to the headmaster of this school."

Naruto snapped his head towards Glynda and the latter flinched from his look towards her.

Naruto looked back again to Ozpin and said, "Let start again, shall we?" Naruto leaned forward before adding, "Ozpin was it? What do you want from me?"

Ozpin to his credit, on the outside was indifferent, on the inside however, he was sweating profusely. No boy – no, man – could talk back time like this and could back it up if diplomacy went sideways.

What Ozpin was feeling from this man in front him was like a predator who was thinking if the prey in front of it would be worth the effort to kill.

And right now? He didn't even know if he would even reincarnate if he would die by the hands of the young man in front of him.

Who was he kidding, he didn't even know if She could even contend with this monster in front of him.

Ozpin swallowed a lump in his throat. The action was even noticed by Glynda and that didn't paint a good picture inside her head. They need tread lightly here, "Before that, would you indulge a few questions from me?" Asked Ozpin.

Naruto sighed and leaned back from his chair before relaxing his posture and answered, "Fine. But don't expect me to answer everything you ask, especially if it's to personal and/or I don't want to."

Ozpin nodded before answering, "Fair enough." Relaxing his posture as well, Ozpin started, "What is your name?"

"Naruto." Answered Naruto.

"Naruto...?" Ozpin trailed-off before Naruto answered, "Just Naruto for now."

Ozpin nodded before he continued, "Where are you from?"

"Somewhere over there." Answered Naruto.

Ozpin raised one of his eyebrows before continuing, "Okay then. What are you?"

Naruto stared at Ozpin for a minute before answering, "Same as you, human."

Ozpin nodded again and was about to question him again when Naruto suddenly spoke, "No, you can't know about what I did earlier. No, it's not Aura or Semblance. Yada, yada, yada, again. What. Do You. Want."

By the end of what Naruto said, Ozpin was already sweating and was about to answer him when Glynda couldn't take it anymore of the blatant disrespect that they were being given by this boy and was about lash out on the said boy when, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Glynda froze in her place. Her riding crop was in mid-swing and was about to use her semblance towards their query.

Ozpin looked at Glynda and he saw that she was frozen in place. Her eyes. Eyes wide and all, but they were unseeing. The light on her eyes were absent.

Like she wasn't even in there.

Ozpin snapped his head back to Naruto and saw that nothing changed from his side of things.

He could've sworn he saw Naruto glanced at Glynda a while ago and his eyes changed. What the hell was happening here!?

Ozpin stood up from his seat, despite feeling the cold feeling of dread crawling up his spine and shouted, "What did you do to her!?"

Naruto raised one of his blonde eyebrows before answering, "Don't worry, Ozpin, she's fine. She's just taking a break from this stressful conversation we are having."

Ozpin gritted his teeth. This was a mistake. What the hell did he brought back to his school.

Composing himself, Ozpin glanced towards the frozen Glynda before taking again his seat. Looking again towards the blonde man in front of him, he answered, "Fine. I would you like to invite you enter in my school? I reckoned you don't have anywhere else to go, plus it will give you the knowledge of what... world you have landed upon."

Naruto stared hard at Ozpin before answering, "I know what you are doing, Ozpin. I know a manipulator when I see one." Ozpin grimaced, and was about to rebuke the blonde's claims before Naruto continued, "Regardless, I have the knowledge of what you are referring to so I don't need it. Nor would I even confirm or deny the last thing you said."

Looking out the window of Ozpin's office, he added, "Despite what you are, Ozpin, I understand the need and the measures you are willing to take." Naruto raised his hand to stop what Ozpin was about to say before continuing, "Don't. I'm not your pawn, Ozpin, or I would ever be. I'm not a certain dusty old crow you have so don't push your luck."

Ozpin widened his eyes before asking the blonde with a stutter, "H-How did you k-know that m-moniker?"

Naruto stared at Ozpin for a moment before waving a hand to his right without looking away from him and Ozpin saw Qrow knocked out form leaning near the window suddenly appeared.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Naruto was not someone Ozpin could contend with. Not, James, the kingdoms, the maidens, the grimms, not even her. Ozpin even got this gut feeling that Naruto wasn't even trying right now. That his power that he was feeling and seeing – working on the believing part – was not even 1% of his overall power.

Looking at Naruto blankly, Naruto figured that Ozpin's brain shutdown and need to restart before answering the unsaid question of Ozpin, despite the blank look he was giving him, "Again, don't worry. He's alright. He's just taking a nap is all."

When Ozpin's brain restarted and processed what the blonde has said, Ozpin nodded his head before massaging his temples to wave of the migraine that was forming. Looking tiredly at Naruto, Ozpin asked what he felt what Naruto wanted to hear from him, "What do you want, Naruto?"

Naruto smiled at Ozpin that never reached his eyes. He was a cunning little –

Ozpin was cut-off from his musings when Naruto suddenly spoke, "That is what I wanted to hear from you."

Naruto crossed again his arms on his chest before continuing, "First, what I want is to mind your own and your little pawns business in regards to me. Not even Ironwood can stop me if you push me."

Ozpin nodded his head, accepting his demand before motioning his hand to let the blonde continue, "Second, I'll consider your offer in accepting your invite in attending your school. Why? It's my own business, that makes it not your business to know."

Again, Ozpin could only nod at the demands of the blonde man in front of him. What could he do? Not that he could even stop him.

"Lastly, I will help you. Mind you, that only if I deemed it necessary for me to intervened. Also, you have my word that nothing will ever hurt your students, teachers, nor vale for that matter, while I am here. That I promise." Finished Naruto.

Ozpin, for the life of him, couldn't help but widened his eyes and let his jaw dropped on his desk at the blonde's last words to him. He schooled his features before asking the million-lien question, "Why? I mean, why protect my students, my friends, my city," Ozpin leaned forward, brown eyes met cerulean, looking for any doubts and treachery before asking again, "Why?"

For the first time since Ozpin saw Naruto in emerald forest, Naruto gave him a tired smile that for once, that reached his eyes before answering with a question, "Is it wrong to help and protect the people who are in need?"

Then and there, Ozpin saw what the real Naruto is. A purpose, Naruto doesn't have at the moment, but he is willing to make the necessary sacrifice to make – I dare say his new home – a better place.

With that, Ozpin nodded his head before relaxing his posture and said, "Very well. I will have your papers ready by the start of the school year. Which, I would like to remind you, will start two weeks from now on Monday."

Naruto nodded his head before saying, "Uzumaki."

Ozpin raised one of his eyebrows before beckoning him to continue, "My last name. It's Uzumaki. I figured you'll need it for the papers and as a token of good will from me."

Ozpin nodded and was righting down now his name before the blonde suddenly continued, "Make no mistake, Ozpin. If any you or your friends in your little group of yours push your collective luck with me, well... I'll leave that to your imagination."

Ozpin gulped and nodded his head before the blonde suddenly stood up and started walking to his office elevator, "Where are you going?" Asked Ozpin.

Naruto looked at Ozpin from the corner of his eyes before answering, "I'm going to roam a bit. You know, familiarize myself in this foreign land I landed myself in to. Don't worry, I'll be back in two weeks' time before the start of your school year."

Right before Naruto entered the elevator, Ozpin suddenly spoke, "What about my subordinates?"

Just when the elevator doors were closing, Naruto snapped his fingers and Glynda, as well as Qrow woke up from their genjutsu induced state.

The duo looked at each other owlishly before switching their gaze at their leader for answers, the latter answered, "Get comfortable, this will be long." Ozpin looked at Qrow before adding, "And Qrow, any chance you have more of that whiskey you always drink?"

Both Glynda and Qrow looked at each other again before both summed up a conclusion.

What the hell happened?

"ARE YOU MAD, OZPIN!? WE CAN'T HAVE HIM GALIVANTING ANYWHERE HE WANTS, AS WELL AS ENTER THIS SCHOOL! WHAT IF HE DOES SOMETHING TO THE STUDENTS!? WHAT THEN!?" Argued Glynda to her superior. After what happened to her and what she experienced... safe to say she was scared of the blonde boy – No. Blonde man.

"She's right, Oz. That guy either needed to be put down or have him under a leash. He's too dangerous to be left alone." Added Qrow's own input to the argument. Seriously, what hell is Ozpin doing?

Ozpin could only rub his forehead and sighed tiredly before answering, "Trust me, the both of you, we can't do anything to him because we can't do nothing. It's impossible to do something to someone like him." Looking out to the window of his office, Ozpin continued, "No one is to touch him, to monitor him, or even know about him. Especially James, and we know why. Naruto won't hesitate to kill him or any of us if we ever push him at the slightest bit. If you're going to argue that he can't do that because of what we are doing for Remnant? Well, let me tell you this, he will do it, make no mistake. And he has the power to even end this pointless war with her and the grimm."

Both Glynda and Qrow could only look towards each other before the former asked, "You're afraid of him, are you, Ozpin?"

Ozpin looked at Glynda and could only nod as his answer to her. Qrow never, and I mean never ever seen Ozpin this scared before. What the hell did Ozpin saw in that monster in human form?

Regardless, Qrow asked what he and Glynda wanted to ask him since Ozpin finished explaining what Naruto wanted and what he felt about him, "Can he be trusted?"

Now that is a question that even Ozpin is having trouble believing in what he was about to say.

"Yes." Answered Ozpin.

Both Glynda and Qrow looked at each other again before the former asked, "What? Are you serious, Ozpin?"

Ozpin nodded his head before elaborating, "Believe it or not, I myself is having trouble believing what I said but," Looking at them straight in the eye, Ozpin continued, "Naruto, despite his demands and his threats to us, he means well. He's just lost, grieving, and just want to do what's right and what he thinks is best. He just wants his privacy, his own space, in this world of ours as he is technically, for all intents and purposes, an alien and wants to make this his new home."

More like a God in a mortal body, Ozpin thought but he left that part out, lest he risk Glynda and Qrow's brain to go haywire and shutdown for the foreseeable future.

We can't have that.

Both Glynda and Qrow nodded their head at their leader's explanation and relaxed their postures. Qrow and Ozpin were drinking the Whiskey the former brought out from God knows where in hopes of forgetting what transpired earlier when the Glynda suddenly asked, "Where is he now?"

Ozpin shrugged his shoulders before asking her, "Why do you ask?"

Instead of answering, Glynda stood up and turned on her heels to head for the elevator.

Qrow and Ozpin looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders and continued on drowning their problems with liquor.

Safe to say both Ozpin and Qrow wouldn't be missed for the rest of the day.

'Who are you and what have you done to Naruto?'

'Fuck off, Kurama.'

After exiting Ozpin's office, Naruto proceeded to walk back again to emerald forest to clear his head.

And said blonde wasn't idle either.

Despite talking with his tenant and partner, Naruto was disposing any grimm he encounters.

Be it Beowolfs, Ursa, Boarbatusks, Death stalkers, and the occasional Nevermores, Naruto destroyed them like they were made of paper.

Nothing beats the good old fashion beatdown in venting your frustrations.

'By the way, very nice idea in extracting the knowledge we need from those two you incapacitated.' Kurama complimented. Who would have taught his jailor and partner had it in him? Such a cunning kit he's becoming!

'Well, I'm not too keen in using my shadow clone jutsu and risk it being found out by Ozpin and his merry band of allies. He already saw the Rasengan and that's enough to let him know what we can do.' Explained Naruto. Honestly, Naruto can be stupid sometimes but when you're in an environment where you're alone and you don't know who to trust? Then you have to play your cards right to make the people around you that plans to manipulate you in doing their bidding.

Naruto could feel Kurama's jaw hit the sewer like mindscape of his before the latter spoke, 'You're scaring me Naruto... Dear kami, who the hell are you and what have you done to the knucklehead that I know!?'

Naruto could only mentally roll his eyes before answering, 'Again, fuck off, Kurama. I was always like this when I needed to. It's just that it's only now you noticed.'

Kurama didn't say a word after that. What? Naruto can be serious you know? Like how can that be scary?

Naruto suddenly stopped walking and looked around his surroundings. That's odd. It's quiet. Too quiet.

'Kurama. You sense something?' Asked Naruto to his friend and partner internally while looking left and right for any threats.

Kurama didn't answer for a minute or two before he suddenly answered, 'It's faint, but there's someone here with us. And it's watching.'

Naruto nodded his head before closing his eyes and even out his breathing.

Sage mode, or Sennin Mōdo. An empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with one's chakra and creating senjutsu chakra.

Sage Mode also allows the user to tap into the natural force of the world, opening up new techniques to them and allowing them to power up existing ones with the new senjutsu chakra.

Said user is now using the accumulated senjutsu chakra to pinpoint the exact location of the intruder.

Opening his eyes, Naruto looked to his right, raised his right hand used one of the Rinnegan's gravitational technique granted by the deva path to pull his target to him.

"Banshō Ten'in" Said Naruto before his Rinnegan pulsed to life and pulled his target into his awaiting right hand.

What he pulled and summarily clamped on the neck of his target was no grimm.

What he was choking was a woman with a deathly pallor, with jet black sclerae in her eyes, glowing crimson irises and dark purple veins that line her face and arms, and has a black diamond-shaped marking in the center of her forehead. She has pale white hair that was styled into a large bun with six offshoots wrapped together that also suspends several obsidian-colored ornaments. As for the clothes of the woman, she is seen wearing a very long, short-sleeved black robe that obscures her feet, with its distinctive feature being a curved high collar with dark red trim bordering the outer edge of a narrow window exposing her bust in a vertical ellipsis resembling an eye, and completed with a long shawl emblazoned with three interconnected, maroon-colored vertical elliptic sigils resembling a trio of overseeing eyes above a series of maroon-colored diamond emblems. She also wears a ring resembling a beetle on her right middle finger, which now have longer fingernails with jet-black nail polish.

The woman in his deathly grip was Salem, the Witch and the master of the Grimm.

"Who are you?" Asked Naruto while narrowing his eyes. He could actually feel the evil in her oozing out of her. The fuck is wrong with the people in this world?

Salem, after so many years of her long, long, immortal life of hers, once again felt an emotion that she long-forgotten, and doubted she would ever feel again; Fear.

How couldn't she? The moment she sensed the blonde boy's power skyrocketed to inhuman levels; she was well on the way out of the emerald forest.

And then she felt her body be yanked back to the forest.

No human could do such a feat. Not her, not Ozma, no one.

Despite all that, Salem forced her re-emerging emotions down and smirked at the blonde boy. Who said she was alone?

Naruto, without batting an eyelash, leaned to the left to dodge an incoming... scorpion tale? Yup, a scorpion tale.

Right, humans aren't the only ones here in Remnant.

Without taking his eyes off his captured prisoner, Naruto reverse side kicked the offending person that dared attack him from behind, launching the said person through tree after tree before collapsing on the tenth tree.

Naruto really hoped the bastard lived through that.

Shifting his body to the right, Naruto jumped, tucking his feet to his thighs to dodge a flaming haymaker from a large, tall, burly man before dropping on the said man on his shoulders and pinning him down on the ground, face first.

Glancing to his left, Naruto leaned his head backward to avoid again the scorpion tale from earlier, letting it past his face and the woman who he has in his hand currently on a choke hold before Naruto used his left hand to grab hold on the scorpion tail, wrapped it on the owner's neck and pull the said owner down on the ground before stepping on the owner's neck with his other foot, effectively disabling him.

Naruto shifted again his gaze back to the woman on his right hand and asked, "I'll ask you again, who are you and these two clowns that are squirming on my feet?"

Salem, literally, for the first time in her immortal life, was slack jawed. Her subordinates, ever the faithful and loyal to her cause, and personally handpicked by herself due to their talents and history with her enemies, were beaten in just under a minute. A minute! Even Ozma and his merry little band of his couldn't even do that! Let alone beat them alone! Alone!

Salem must have him!

"I-If... You... W-Would... Release m-me, I can... E-Explain." Said Salem forcefully from her choke hold.

Even this! No one can manhandle her!

No one!

(Right... Say hello to your superior, Salem.)

Naruto chuckled mirthfully and was about to answer when the big, burly man on his right foot squirmed violently before trying to lift his body off of Naruto's feet.

Naruto wouldn't let him unfortunately.

Raising one blonde eyebrow, Naruto put more pressure towards the man's back, hearing some of his ribs and spinal cord groan from the pressure, making the man muffled a scream from his position.

Looking back at the woman, he prompted her to start talking, to which she did, "M-My N-Name... I-Is... S-Salem..." Shifting her gaze to the bottom left, she added, "H-Hazel..." Shifting her gaze to the other side, she finished, "T-Tyrian..."

Naruto nodded his head before looking at Tyrian, who was looking at him murderously, before his eyes suddenly glazed and the light in his eyes left him. Looking at Hazel's position, Naruto lifted his foot of his back, kicked him on his side before casting a genjutsu as well towards him when Hazel's eyes met his.

Looking back at Salem, Naruto released his hold on her neck before taking a step back and crossed his arms on his chest.

On this day, Salem finally understood the meaning of fear.

And it's staring right at her now in the face.

"Well, I'm waiting"
