A/N: Hello guys... Can those who never bothered to review do so for once? I mean, give me a break and attempt to review at least once! Please, I bust my mind and body to write for you, so I expect a little give and take. Review!

(2/11/13)

Tuesday...

But, while brushing, I heard something strange. I followed it and saw a strange mist appearing from an open window. It was in the same body shape as mine, yet seemed really spectral. "You should know the truth..."

But when I rubbed my eyes, it was gone. I chalked it out as sleepiness and immediately want to bed.

I was sleeping soundly, when I heard a noise inside my room. Fearing a home invader, I grabbed my lamp and prepared to stove it into the intruder's head.

Suddenly, Minako's face appeared beside me. I was a little surprised at how she snuck up on me like that, but I was thinking she might be reciprocating my nightly visit.

"Minako?" I said excitedly.

"Shhh..." She puts a finger on my lips, "Kiss me."

"What?" I said in confusion.

"Kiss me..." She whispered.

"Fine..." I said as I kissed her passionately, but she grabbed me roughly and began to get physical, biting my lip and tongue at intervals.

"Minako..." I broke the kiss, "You really shouldn't be here..." Suddenly, to my horror, her face deteriorated and began to age like an old lady. Within that moment, she turned into a thousand year old hag.

"Kiss me like you did BEFOREEEE!" She shrieked in a double demonic voice, "Love me... LOVE ME!"

"AHHHHHH!" I screamed in horror and in shock.

I opened my eyes to see daylight, "Oh, thank goodness..." I took a deep breath and laughed loudly at the strange dream I had. I quickly dressed up and went to Minako's room, "Hey, Minako, you'll never believe this crazy dream I had-" I began, but when I opened the door, her room was empty. Nothing to be found, her stuff was gone and her clothes were missing as well.

I found a note that read:

'Hey Minato, thanks for being a friend! I'm not so good with goodbyes... Lots of love'

"No... Minako!" I cursed obscenely beneath my breath as I shoved it into my pockets.

I tried calling on her cell, but all I got was static. Minako leaving without saying goodbye stung me like a bee as I grabbed a jacket and rushed out to look for Minako.

On the way, a familiar voice hollered at me.

"Minato-chan?" Said a kindly voice.

I turned around to see the motherly face of Grandma sitting by the park bench and feeding pigeons, "Gran!" I went closer to her, "What brings you here?"

She laughed, "I could ask you the same thing, Minato-chan! I always feed the birds at this time. I grew quite fond of this. But enough about me, you look like you lost something."

"In a sense, yes." I said as I craned my neck to look for Minako, but she was absolutely nowhere to be found.

"Would you mind telling me?" She asked.

"No problem... Minako... She left today." I said soberly, as if I woke from a dream.

"Ah, that's sad. But absence makes the heart grows fonder. You will keep in touch and you will see each other again." Grandma said.

"That's the thing, Gran... She... She left without saying anything, where she's headed or contact numbers. She isn't even responding on her cell..." I took out the letter, and my anger exploded, "This chick is a giant pain in my ass!" I shouted furiously, crumpling the letter, "Sure, she lost her Aunt and is moving away. That's cool. I understand that part. It is stressful and depressing, I get it... But then, she had to write this letter! This letter, which reopens a wound every time I read it..." I then threw it across the room, "That letter... She doesn't even have the decency to say it in my face!"

Grandma studied my face, "And am I suppose to believe you would just... give up like that?"

I felt my heart and morale raising. Minako DID leave me, but there is nothing in the world that will stop me from finding her if she's still in my city, "Never. I'll search this place, turn it upside down if I have to, to look for Minako!"

"Yeah! I'll help out too!" Grandma cried as she tried to stand, but she couldn't, "Ah, well..."

"Don't worry about it, Gran! I'll round up my friends and look for them! Thanks for listening to me!" I said.

"Go to her!" she cried as I went and called everyone.

We all met at Pinky's. Since there were few customers, namely an old man, a businesswoman and someone reading the paper, it was the perfect place to plan everything. I explained everything and we planned to search the entire city in companies of three. Rio, Kenji, Fuuka and Yukari will search the Gekkoukan Island, while Akihiko, Leah and Pinky would scour the streets in the car while Lee, Junpei, Quan and I would search on foot. Koromaru decided to join us along the way.

"Minako!" Lee called out, "Minako! Where are you?"

"Have you seen this girl?" I asked, showing a picture of Minako to a woman. She shook her head and walked away.

"Minako!" Quan cried, "Minako!"

"Hurry up, Minako! Show up!" Junpei hollered, "It's 86 degrees out! This isn't funny!"

"Bark, bark!" Koromaru barked as he looked around and whimpered.

Suddenly, Junpei jerked up, "I have an idea!"

"Whoa, that sounds deadly!" Lee laughed with Quan.

"What is it?" I asked.

"We use Koromaru to get her scent!" Junpei cried, "Koromaru is a genius dog, and flushing Minako out would be cake!" He cried. Humorously enough, we were right in front of Pinky's café.

"You're crazy." Quan concluded after looking at Junpei.

"Fool, don't you watch the Discovery Channel?!" Junpei cried, "Dogs have a complex sense of smell that can detect scents and odors that your brain couldn't handle!"

"What's that suppose to mean?!" Quan cried.

Junpei ignored him, "Do you have anything Minako touched in the last few hours?"

"Only this letter." I said as I handed Minako's letter to him.

"Ah, such an interesting specimen!" Junpei cried as he studied it, "Looks to be in prime condition. We could find her with this!"

"Whoa, check out Inspector Iori!" Lee cried.

"Thank you for that, Lee." Junpei said in a faux British voice, "Now, Koromaru, lead the way!" He said after he allowed him three sniffs.

Koromaru merely laid down and yawned.

"Koromaru! Go!" Junpei squaked, "What's wrong?"

"I don't think he was trained to look for people... He's a Shiba-Inu, not a bloodhound!" Quan cried.

"Really? Well, I'm gonna teach you how to find people, Koro-chan, and maul them!" Junpei cried, "Like this..." He throws down his jacket and gets on all fours, "Sniff it like so... And- bark, bark, bark!"

People just passed by as Quan, Lee and I embarrassedly looked away.

"Then you chase him and tackle!" Junpei imitates a dog tackle, "Use your teeth!" He bares his teeth, "And rabies, if you have any!" He foams his mouth as Koromaru tried to follow. He kept on for nearly thirty minutes. Suddenly, a man with a net homes in on them.

"Oh crap! A dog catcher! Run for your life, Koromaru!" Junpei cried as Koromaru bolted.

"Hey, you can't round up that Shiba! Koromaru has a collar!" I cried.

"That's right! Dog catchers are supposed to catch strays, not pets!" Quan said loudly.

"Who said anything about a dog catcher?" The man said in confusion, "We received reports of a lunatic boy barking and acting like a dog!" He then tries to catch Junpei, but he ran away like lightning.

The three of us looked at each other, "Let's go on ahead-"

After walking, Quan jumps, "Hey, look!" Quan cried, "Look! It's her!" He pointed to a red headed woman riding on what seems to be a rickshaw. But her driver was fast and they were distancing themselves at a pretty good rate.

"What should we do?!" Lee cried, "She's getting away!"

"I'll go call Aki-" Lee said as he fished his phone.

"No! There's no time!" I said, looking around until I saw two discarded bikes by a dumpster, "Aha! We'll use these bikes to get to her!" I clambered onto a derelict BMX bike.

"Are you mad?!" Lee cried, "These things actually have no rubber in the wheels. And they're practically falling apart!" Lee said as he pulled the handle off and set it back.

"Oh, picky, picky!" I said impatiently, "Sorry, I didn't have the time to check out the magazine catalogue for bikes!"

"Aw man..." Lee whined as he rode the wobbly BMX bike.

"Hey, what about me?!" Quan cried.

"Use that one!" I said, pointing to a pink bike with floral designs.

"But that's Pinky's bike..." Quan complained.

"Boy, move!" Lee hissed, "I'm riding a roadside hazard, and you don't hear me complaining!"

"The chase is on. Yeehaw! Allez!" I whooped as I pedalled.

"I'll never hear the end of this..." Quan moaned as he rode the bike. We pedalled towards her, weaving through the traffic.

"Minato!" Lee puffed as he pedalled with difficulty, "Minato! What about... a little dignity!? Dignity!"

"This is a little exciting!" Quan cried as he smoothly passed by Lee.

Suddenly, we came by Yukari's group.

"Hey everyone, it's Minato!" Yukari cried.

"And Lee!" Fuuka sighed as Lee winked at her.

"And... Is that Quan...? On a GIRL'S bike?!" Kenji said, as he gave in to a giggle fit.

"Looking good, Quan!" Rio laughed.

Quan nearly shed tears, "I will NEVER hear the end of this..." He sniffed as we rode away.

"She's headed to the intersection." Lee said.

"Split up, guys. We'll meet in the middle!" I said as Lee turned, narrowly avoiding a collision with a truck and Quan skillfully zipped past the traffic.

When I managed to get to the rickshaw, I jumped out, ignored the traffic and looked inside.

"Minako?" I said frantically.

"Who?" A completely different person said in confusion.

"Oh..." I said in disappointment, "Sorry... I thought you were someone else..."

She looked at me curiously, "Do I remind you of someone?"

"Yes... You do." I said as I dismounted, "I'm sorry for that."

"No problem. Not everyday a boy stops a rickshaw to talk to me." She said as Lee and Quan arrived.

"It's not her." I said in disappointment.

"Man, that sucks." Lee sighed.

"See you later!" The lady said as the rickshaw driver began to move.

"Wait!" Quan cried at a red headed chick, "You must tell me your name!"

"Um, why?" She asked, very confused and looked a bit scared.

"We redheads gotta stick together!" Quan cried.

"You're wierd." The girl said with an amused smile.

"Haven't you heard?" Quan said, "Redheads will be extinct in a few decades!"

"You know, I keep hearing that too!" The girl cried, "Like hell we will, right? Red heads rule!"

"Tell me your name!" He cried.

"Why?" She asked, "Why do you want to know my name?" She said as the rickshaw drove off.

"Dang!" Quan said morosely, "I could've recorded her on my red head journal..."

We decided to return to Le Pinque.

"I hope you know what you put me through..." Lee muttered, "I nearly kissed the fender of that truck. The bumper was an inch away from my nose... My entire life flashed before my eyes, and boy, was it boring..." He said as we trudged the streets, "It just happens in one go, like they say it does... Like, playing Super Mario, trading Pokemons and harvesting peaches from my grandad's farm... running jay for my pops back in the day... Damn, even encapsulated in a split second, my life was boring, and I find that really alarming."

Eventually, we reached the café. For their help, I treated Lee and Quan and the gang to lattés. Everyone chatted, but I remained really morose. Yukari tried to comfort me, but I told her, kindly, to let me be alone for a while.

When the latté arrived, everyone sipped on it.

"Where's mine?" The customer reading the newspaper piped up, "Well?"

Everyone looked queerly at the customer, who put the paper down. She looked like Minako, but it couldn't be her, since she wore her hair down, reaching her waist, and Minako never liked being out of her ponytail.

"Uh, who are you?" Rio said as she sipped on her latté.

"It's me, Minako!" She said.

Everyone gasped and looked closer at her. She wore makeup, lipstick, eyeliner and earrings. Owning to the fact she also wore her hair down and the fact Minako never put those things on made the claim dubious.

We really wanted to say something, but Junpei said it for us, "You're nuts! Minako would never wear girly stuff like that!"

"You want me to beat you senseless?!" She barked.

"It's her." I said as everyone cried in surprise. They crowded her and asked where she was, what she did and other stuff.

"Whoa, chillax! I came here just to chill out." Minako said.

"Where were your clothes? Your things?" Yukari asked.

"Geez, I fixed my room and transferred. There were rats inside." Minako explained, "My things were hidden in Minato's armory."

"But the note-"

"Oh, yoh read that?" Minako blushed, "That was just something I scribbled in boredom. It's not complete yet."

"But why are you dressed? You leaving?" Fuuka asked.

"What? Well, in a sense. I'm meeting my guardian here in a while. I've been waiting for hours now!" Minako cried.

"Wait, why didn't you speak up? We searched the city looking for you!" Akihiko seethed.

"Oh, uh..." Minako became sheepish, "I fell asleep." She shrugs.

"Guys, I want a word with Minako..." I said, "Alone."

When they left I faced Minako, "Minako... Tell me... Were you planning on leaving?" I asked, "The truth." I added when she bit her lip.

"Yes, initially, I planned on leaving." She said, "But... I remembered that... There's no way I could ever leave this place... Not now, nor ever. All my friends are here, my home is here, and most of all, Minato, you're here." She said as my heart fluttered, "I mean, did you actually expect me to leave you behind here? My bestie wouldn't survive a minute without Big Minako!" She said, "In short... Thanks. Thanks for looking for me. Go home now and rest. I promise you, no, I assure you that I'll try my best to convince them not to let me go. Trust me."

I nodded and left, but not without embracing her, "Good luck."

"I don't need luck." She laughed, "I always have persuasion and reason." She puts out her right fist, "Persuasion." Then her left, "And reason."

"Good luck." I smiled and I went home alone. While passing by the Iwatodai Station, I saw a really pretty woman, wearing skinny jeans, a sleeveless shirt and stylish boots sitting by the train station stairs. I realized she was the woman at the rickshaw.

She was about 22 or 23, rather busty and had a great, sexy body, red auburn hair that was straight and glossy and her bangs flew around her face. She had a mischievous smile, that reminded me of Minako, except hers had a more mature charm to it, as if she planning an elaborate prank on someone. Her ruby red eyes twinkled in the dusk light.

"What a babe..." I thought to myself as I looked at her. She looked back at me and winked.

"You there!" She yelled out in a friendly manner, "Yeah you, sexy boy! Come on over! Talk to me!"

I walked towards her nervously, "Y-Yes...?" I stopped and regarded her.

"Sup?" She said spunkily, "You're that cutie from the highway, right? D'ya know where 'Le Pinque Cafe' is?"

"Oh, yeah, I just came from there. Want me to show you the way?" I offered politely.

"That'd be nice, yeah." She winked and stood up. She stood tall, me only being shorter by two inches. After yawning and stretching, she said, "Let's go, sexy."

I nodded and we set off. She looked around the scenery and took a deep breath, savoring the crisp, salty air.

"It's been a while since I last came here." She said wistfully, "This city has changed so much..."

"You were from here?" I said in surprise.

"Yup." She nodded, "I left 11 years ago, actually... I was adopted and I'm back now to visit someone."

I merely nodded.

"Bored are we?" She smiled, "Don't worry, I'll reward you..."

"S-Sure!" I said excitedly. So... this was what they call a 'gyakunan', or an older girl hanging around to flirt or to seduce younger boys. My eyes strayed to her face, her curves and her cute smile. All the while trying not to succumb to human nature. Suddenly, she looked directly at me.

"Nervous?"

"N-No! Why would I be?" I cried as I opened the door to Le Pinque.

Minako was, as usual, eating. She looked at me with annoyance as I entered, "You again...? I thought I said that I'd be fine?"

"Relax, I'm just helping this lady out-" I began, until the lady strode past me and stood in front of Minako, who was still eating and did not look up.

"Sigh... who's that blocking the light?" She demanded.

"Hey Hamu-chan." The lady greeted, "Been a long time, eh kiddo?"

Minako looked up and her eyes suddenly became full of life, "What the- Y-You!"

"Eh?" I said, "You know her?"

"Yeah!" Minako cried gleefully, "She's my Nee-chan!"

"What?!" I cried.

The two embraced each other for a while and Minako's sister looked at me, "You haven't guessed yet? Don't you see the family resemblance? Here's a hint... Let's eat Froot Loops and hang out and stuff!" She imitated Minako's voice, as Minako didn't seem amused by her imitation, "Haha, I'm Kamina Arisato, Minako's older sister."

"What were you doing with my best friend?" Minako asked as she looked at me suspiciously.

"Oh, he thought I was a gyakunan!" Kamina said as she laughed lightheartedly.

Minako, on the other hand, looked displeased as she gave me a disappointed look, raising an eyebrow and folding her arms, "Huh... is that so...?"

"That's definitely not it!" I cried.

"Eh?!" A voice from the kitchen cried, "Kamina Arisato?!" Hwoarang rushed out and smiled broadly, "Kammy? Welcome! It's been years! Did you just arrive?"

"You two know each other?" Minako asked as she scratched her head.

"Hell yeah! We were classmates in College. Your sis used to tutor me back in the day!" Hwoarang cried.

"Yup. Good to see you, Hwoa-chan." She said, "Get me some coffee." She said with a bossy attitude as Hwoarang nodded and rushed to get it done. She was Minako's sister alright...

Hwoarang nodded, "Right." And left for a while and came back.

Kamina sipped on the coffee before grimacing, "This coffee is supposed to be coarse."

"Sorry! I'll be more careful!" Hwoarang cried and replaced it, "What brings you here anyway? I thought you were teaching down under?" Hwoarang asked.

She smiled, "I'm glad you asked." She slaps a piece of paper on the table, "I'm now the sole guardian of Minako."

I felt cold inside. Minako now had a new guardian...

"Minako's such a cutie, right sexy?" Kamina said as she wrapped an arm around my neck and bringing me closer to her chest. Her breasts felt soft and warm as it crushed my face and slowly suffocated me.

"Eh? What would Minato know?" Minako said with a confused smile.

"Well, Minato and I are lovers. We even got to fourth base." Kamina teased, winking at Minako as the latter looked furious.

"Thats... not... true!" I managed to gasp out.

"Huh! Looks like Minato's weakness is boobies!" Minako cried, "Acting all clueless and stuff... I didn't think you were that kind of guy!"

Shit! My rep is being tarnished by Kamina!

"Minato, eh?" Kamina winked, still holding me, "You're the guy she keeps yapping about?"

"Nee!" Minako cried, "Where did you even meet him?"

"Well, he stopped the rickshaw I was riding to admire my beauty. I must say, he has good tastes." She said, forcing Minako to take deep breaths to calm herself."What?" Kamina said, "What's your last name, bro?" She asked me.

"A-Arisato." I said, gasping for breath since I was crushed between her arm and bosom.

"Arisato, huh?" Kamina mused, "Heh. You some distant relative or something? I kinda find that kinky." She teased.

"Kamina!" Minako cried, "We're not related to him!"

"Oh, that's good!" Kamina said, "That means we can get married now, Minato-kun!" Kamina said teasingly as Minako turned violet with fury, but strangely, she didn't do anything, "Haha, just pulling your leg, Minako-chan-" she extends a hand as Minako reached out to shake it. Kamina withdrew it at the last moment, "Or am I?" She added teasingly. Minako looked ready to burst in anger.

"No way!" Minako flushed, "Minato's ass belongs to me!" She said so loudly, her voice resounded across the cafe, causing the patrons, and the gang, to become quiet.

Minako just turned scarlet, "I'm sorry guys!" She said, "A-Anyway! Where are we gonna live?"

"Well-" Kamina began, but then, someone entered the store, someone who looked familiar.

"Hey, Mr. Edogawa! What's cracking, sir?" Lee said as he tried to hi-five him.

"No fraternizing with students, Mr. Aida." He said tiredly, "Besides, I'm far too busy trying to recruit new teachers."

"So, you're recruiting too, huh?" Quan said, "My old man is out headhunting as well... Any luck?"

"We prefer the term 'Executive Recruiter'." Edogawa said, "But no... Unfortunately, Professor Lao and I share the same fortune. We haven't any luck yet, and we only need at least one more."

"Who's he?" Kamina asked.

"Oh, him? That's Mr. Edogawa. He's our Theology teacher, but suffered a minor nervous breakdown following the shootout." Minako said.

"I prefer 'third level fatigue'." Edogawa said.

"If you need a teacher, I can be a sub. Besides, my contract expired and I want to teach somewhere close to home." Kamina said.

Minako's eyes flashed brightly, "What did you say...?"

"Yeah! You don't expect me to work somewhere far? I hate traffic. That's why a short walking distance from Auntie's place. I checked it out just this afternoon."

"You mean I can-" Minako said excitedly.

"Yep. We're staying here." Kamina confirmed. The cheers and yells from the café were so loud and thunderous, place buzzed with the soundwaves that bounced off the walls and back.

Tears were shed, mostly mine, as I blew a small fortune on the entire menu, treating everyone inside. Pinky was even called to help out along with Lili.

We had such a great time, and honestly, I couldn't remember most of it. I was just so happy, I didn't realize I blew nearly 90,000¥ within four hours.

Afterwards, we helped out with Kamina moving in and when we were done, it was 11 PM, so I decided to go to sleep.

A/N: Plot twist. I'm pleased to announce Kamina is the last OC in this fic, I think you guys are more than happy to hear.

Oh, yes, before accusing Minato and Minako of being 'Mary Sue', try to read the story and actually try to get the definition of Mary Sue. :)

Yup. Its gonna be straighforward from now. In a few chapters, the story might reach the climax.

Please review! Of course, only those who are brave enough to attempt.

Q/A: (sorry if I seem too bount, I'm stressed)

Hoshi: actually, fishing at night yields bigger fish :P thanks. I'm none too good myself, but I'm trying my best.

Ace: Well, not really. Its luck.

Blah: Somehow, I don't exactly feel your sentiments, Blah. Luckily for you, she doesn't leave ;)

Okay ah.

No offense, it's MinaYuka. Canon. But now I give up. Call them NatoKari. Whatever makes Blah happy.

As for your statement... It's definitely legit how they broke up. If you ever been in a relationship, I wouldn't know, but that happens. Its called 'falling out of love'. Also, read fics by thesavorofpain. You will not be disappointed.

Gin: No problem!

Radaketor: Understandable. Yes, I guess it may seem so, but if I were to say anything, Minato was merely reassuring her.

Yep. She did, yet she didn't cause it. And what does a rio have to do in relation with robbing a bank...?

Maybe... Maybe not... You'll just have to read on!

They keep in touch using phones, and how people usually communicate.

Kronos: You'll find one soon!

Jin: Okay! Haha, sure, whatever you say! A suggestion, google the exact meaning first and second, read the whole story. The Minas are the most troubled pair ever. Anyway, don't take my word for it, but You'll seem more sensible if you do.
