I haven't finished the game yet so if something missing oops -\(:D)/-

Groose sat around with his lackeys, talking about their job-so-well-done of containing Link's crimson colored Loftwing behind the nearby dungeon. Someone could say that they were loitering, considering that when they weren't harassing Link, they were dissing him behind his back or unwillingly listening to Groose ramble on about how wonderful Zelda is. Stritch and Cawlin giggled along as Groose was gloating loudly about their achievement. Although their arms covered in scratches and peck marks, they were proud of it.

"Duh huh huh, Link is so dumb. He's going to look for his poor little feathered friend and take so long that he's gonna miss the wing ceremony! Even though it took a lot of effort, we did great! That crimson pest he calls a Loftwing is finally sealed away! He'll never find him!" Groose bragged to his friends, who cackled and nodded in agreement.

"He'll never know what's coming, I don't even think the dimwit noticed yet! Probably too lazy," Cawlin held back his laughter as Stritch nudged his friend with his elbow.

"I couldn't agree with you more. He's so lazy, he's impossible to wake up!" Stritch didn't hold his laughter, and they all joined in again.

"Yeah, he'll probably even sleep through the wing ceremony. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he notices his bird is gone. Now that'll be something to see!" Groose grinned, unaware of Cawlin and Stritch going silent and looking over their shoulders in shock. Cawlin shook Groose's shoulder.

"What?" He looked over and saw none other than Link himself, hands on his hips and a scowl across his face. Groose smirked and walked up to him, getting into Link's personal space.

"What's this, you're actually awake? I bet Zelda had to come and wake you up, because, you know, you can't do much yourself. Why'd you come here? You wanted another beating from your's truly?" Groose got up in his face, staring him down. Link did not move from his spot, rather he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Nice hair," he retorted, hoping to irritate Groose and maybe get a reaction out of him. Groose's eyebrows furrowed.

"Hey, watch it. I've got the best pompadour in town! You could never compete! I look so good that soon enough, Zelda will be fawning over me and asking me out!" Groose defended himself, finally backing off a tad, touching up his hair with his hands ever so carefully. "Yes, Zelda won't be able to hold back her feelings when she sees the new me. I'll make her fall for me, and we'll run off into the sunset, and fly in the sky together, and live happily ever after! Duh huh huh..." Steam blew from his nose as he daydreamed, turning away from Link, who let a chuckle escape his mouth from witnessing something so ridiculous. Cawlin and Stritch looked at each other in embarrassment as their friend wobbled back and forth, red in the face. Link rolled his eyes.

"Exactly what are we doing, you say?" Zelda marched over with her hands on her hips, obviously fed up with Groose's rambling. Groose turned around, still red in the face and stumbled back.

"Uh, uh, princess Zelda! How nice to see you. Lovely as ever!" Groose stuttered his sentence, trying to make himself seem cool, but failing miserably.

Zelda matched Link's stance, crossing her arms as well.

"You're bullying Link again, aren't you?" she pointed her index finger in Groose's face. He flinched at the sudden unwanted lecturing.

"Uh, no! We weren't! Absolutely not! We were just... telling him how cool he is! Yeah. Duh huh huh!" He wrapped an arm around Link's shoulder, bringing him in with a tight side hug. Link's cheek squished against Groose's flexed breast. He could tell that he was trying to impress Zelda by making himself seem bigger, but he knew that Groose wasn't even her type.

They had talked about it before in private, making it clear to each other that they wanted to stay friends. It was an emotional conversation, but they both decided it was for the best. Link had revealed that night that he didn't think that he was straight, in which Zelda also revealed that she felt the same way. Her reasoning is that she had been surrounded by men her entire life that it had made her uninterested in their gender, but if she had to, Link would be her first choice. She had admitted that she has a bit of a crush on their classmate, Karane, in which Link responded well, telling her to go for it. On the other hand, being surrounded by men had the opposite effect of Zelda's opinion, in which Link found himself with a budding attraction to masculinity. Zelda pressured Link into saying who he had a crush on, but he didn't budge too easily. She started listing off their classmates, to which he denied each passing one. She got down to the last contestant, Groose, and Link lowered his gaze in shame. Zelda had covered her mouth in disbelief and laughed. Link looked up with a blush across his face and tried to defend himself, saying that it was just because of his physical appearance is what he was into. But she continued to burst with laughter and accused him of being a closeted masochist. He denied her accusations and began to turn very red. She calmed her laughing and wiped a forming tear from the corner of her eye. She said that it was okay, and they both promised to not say a word about their conversation. Link exited her room for the night and went to bed with a lot on his mind.

Back to the present, Link's eyes trailed over Groose's grip, which soon glazed over his exposed forearm, to his flexing bust. He wanted to just bury his face between his cleavage, but he had to hold back, because that would be odd. Instead, he glanced away in annoyance with a light blush forming across his cheeks. Groose squeezed even tighter as he tried to convince Zelda that they were buddy-buddy, who stood in front of the both of them, not buying any of it. She then glanced over to Link and noticed his obedience to stand there and let Groose hold him close. She giggled to herself in her mind, knowing exactly why he wasn't pushing away or protesting to the contact. Groose hadn't even noticed that he was getting a little too handsy with him at all, but everyone else was fully aware.

"Are you sure you were telling him that he's cool, or were you actually confessing your feelings for him? You like him more than a friend, don't you?" Zelda consciously teased Link, who looked up at her in disbelief, his mouth agape. His hands came up, ready to defend himself and deny Zelda of her speech.

"I- What! No way in hell! Link is... a dweeb! Duh huh huh! That's right! But, whatever. So, no, I don't like him at all. Not even a little bit!" He blushed and released his grip of Link's shoulder, lightly pushing him away in an attempt to not actually hurt him in front of his crush. Link brushed out the wrinkle on the fabric of said shoulder, looking back over to Zelda, who was smirking, knowing exactly what string she was pulling.

"Yeah, right. You're not fooling anyone, Groose. You're just hiding it because you're scared he'll reject your feelings, right?" Zelda pressed on as Groose pouted, not wanting to have this conversation. He didn't hold a single feeling of attraction towards Link! He liked Zelda! How does she not even know?

"Well, that's not the reason I came here. So, anyway, where's Link's Loftwing? You've had to have seen it. They don't just disappear, right?" Zelda stated outright. She changed her mood very quickly to show that she was aggravated with the three of them. But they all failed to notice that Cawlin and Stritch had sneaked off to avoid any confrontation from the princess. That was one of the very rare smart moves on them.

"I don't know what you're talking about! He probably takes after his owner and went off to laze around somewhere, probably still even sleeping!" Groose argued back, knowing full well he was the responsibility of Link's missing companion. Zelda's face suddenly looked scary.

"Well, we talked about it, and until it shows up, the wing ceremony is being held back. So, if you want to participate, you better help him look for it. Or else." Zelda's whole demeanor changed to the point where she was even scaring Link a tad bit, and he wasn't even the one she was grouching at!

Groose sighed in annoyance at the demand. "We'll, anything for Zelda, i guess," he thought to himself and his shoulders dropped, not wanting to associate himself with Link in anyway.

"Ok, fine. I'll help Link look for his bird," Groose muttered just loud enough for Zelda to hear.

"Great! You should both team up and look together so that it'll be faster! Or, should I say, you have to stick together," Zelda clapped her hands together as she forced the decision onto the both of them. Groose pouted even more.

"Now I'm stuck with this loser!? Fantastic. Just fantastic." Groose thought to himself once more before sighing deeply. Link glared at Zelda, who forced her hand just to tease Link. She smiled and tilted her head and walked away. Link looked up to Groose, who was staring at the ground.

"You know, nerd? I'd rather be forced to stick with Zelda instead of you. Or anyone else in Skyloft, matter of fact," Groose's eyes looked down to Link's face, who had a saddening expression on his choice of words. Link was now looking at the ground, obviously kind of hurt by Groose's insult. Groose's eyes went wide with realization, knowing that what he just said was too low of a blow, and felt bad.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I take it back, I didn't realize it was that serious to you," Groose put his hands on Link's shoulders, who sniffled a response.

"Whatever. let's just go," Link brushed Groose's hands off of his shoulders, faced away from him, and started walking. Groose followed a few feet behind, not wanting to disturb Link anymore than he already has.

...

They ended up walking towards the cave, which made Groose wonder if Link had heard their group's conversation earlier. He hadn't said anything to give the Loftwing's position away, had he? He then wondered if Link may have been spying on them, then. They soon reached the entrance to the cave, where Link had stopped at the mouth of it. Groose, not paying attention to his surroundings and lost in thought, forcefully bumped into the back of Link, causing him to fall over onto the ground. He managed to save himself by his hands, but not for long as Groose landed right on top of him. Link lost strength is his arms and fell face first into the grass, being squished by the larger male.

"Ah, shit! Sorry, Link!" Groose propped himself up on one elbow, both knees bent on either side of Link as he hovered over him.

"Ow..." Link lifted his face slightly from the ground. His nose had turned pink on impact and his heart rate rose from the physical movement. He then flipped his body to lay on his back and looked at Groose in annoyance. What he then noticed is that the man, who he found very attractive, was on top of him. And not only that, looking at him!

"Are you okay, Link?" Groose asked as he stayed in his position above Link. The question had completely missed Link as he was stuck in his own thoughts now.

"His face is so close I can feel his breath. His arms are so big and he looks so handsome from this view. I can't stop looking in his eyes. Has he noticed yet? I don't ever want to look away. Oh god," Link's fantasy ran through his mind as he ignored almost anything Groose was saying to him. His moist lips were slightly parted as his breath steadied itself, his eyes were half-lidded in lust.

"Link?" Groose waved his free hand in front of Link's face. He was scared he may have suddenly just knocked the sense out of Link. As funny as he wanted this to be, this was not the best situation because he thought Link might still be mad at him. He was worried for his well-being, knowing that if word got to Zelda, she would chew him out for his carelessness.

"Huh?" Link snapped back to reality as the hand waved in front of his face. He blinked at Groose, who had a relieved look on his face.

"Good, you're okay? I thought I may have knocked you out. That wouldn't have been good," Groose sighed, as he started to rise.

"W-wait!" Link grabbed his forearm and stopped him from getting up.

"Huh? What is it? Are you feeling bad?" concern grew on his face again as he stopped his movements. His face came closer to Link's than last time. And all Link wanted to do was close that distance between them.

"No... Nevermind, it's not important," Link's grip lightened as he turned his head, flustered by his sudden outburst.

"Well, if you say so," Groose got up first to his feet and then reached his hands out to help Link as well. It's the least he could do.

"Thank you," Link accepted his offer of help and held onto Groose's hands, who just didn't happen to know his own strength, or that maybe Link is far lighter than he expected. He yanked Link off the ground to get him up.

"Ah! Oofh!" Link's face rammed into the middle of Groose's chest as his body was lifted and brought closer by accidental force.

"Duh huh huh! My bad!" Groose's chest vibrated as he let out his signature laugh. His hands found themselves on Link's waist, helping him straighten out a little. "You're way lighter than I expected. But, I guess I should have because you are very tiny!" Groose teased Link about his height.

"I can't help it. Geez," Link's face was bright red as he avoided eye contact with Groose. "My face was just in his boobs. What even," He thought to himself, secretly panicking on the inside. His heart was beating so fast and loud that anyone in a mile radius could hear it!

"Well, see here, you're so tiny that I can do this!" Groose lifted Link off the ground, leaving his feet dangling.

"Eh? Put me down!" Link struggled against his grip and held on for dear life by Groose's biceps. Groose laughed at Link's protests and lifted him even higher.

"Let go! Seriously!" Link wriggled around, trying to break free.

"Not a chance, pipsqueak! You're stuck up there now, duh huh huh!" Groose was being surprisingly playful and friendly, Link almost thought that some switch in his head must've flipped.

"Or... Is there a possibility that he might have feelings for me, too?" Link thought wishfully as his struggling lessened.

"That's right, just accept it now, duh huh huh! But I can't keep you like this forever, I guess," Groose considered putting him down for a second, but he didn't want to stop teasing Link just yet. "Hm... actually, what about this?" He smirked as he threw Link over his broad shoulder. Link began to struggle again.

"Groose, put me down you brute!" Link punched against his back and kicked his legs in the air. He was fully aware of the hands holding him in place, one on his lower back and the other right underneath his butt. Half of his hand was actually making contact! Link continued to protest and all Groose did was laugh.

"Well, I'm ready. You ready? Let's go!" Groose began walking into the cave with Link hiked up over his back. Link's movements ceased as he realized he had basically no way of freeing himself from Groose, and well, that it wasn't that bad. He liked the attention he was receiving and the careless placement of Groose's palms, so he just let it happen at this point.
