Hailey was happy she got time with Maya for the day which was something her and Jay didn't get to that at the moment they were in the middle of a big case so Maya spent most of June, with her cousin's Kacey and Carson, Will's kids. When Hailey woke up that morning Jay was already at work. Hailey was getting ready when Maya came in and asked "where is daddy," Hailey told her " Daddy was at work but they were gonna take him lunch and eat with him" Maya nodded her head.

After Hailey got ready to help Maya get ready then they had breakfast before going to get Carson from Will, Kacey was with one of her friends that weekend, Will and Natalie both had to work. Hailey had the day off so she was offended to watch Carson after she picked up Carson they went to the park going to get, taking it Jay at the 21st when Hailey got there she saw Jays truck her and also needed to switch cars with Jay. When her girls walked in she saw Kim coming down the stairs to get lunch. For her and Adam, Kim was surprised to see Hailey and the girls. she sat at her desk and waited for Jay to come out of Hanks's office when finally Maya ran up to him and Jay picked her and went over Hailey and Carson. Carson said "hi" to uncle her. Jay asked Hailey "were Kacey was" Hailey replied and said "She was at her at a friend that weekend" she let Jay eat before they switched cars Jay helped Hailey with car seats into the truck, after they had swapped cars Hailey and went to store get stuff for dinner, Natalie had come to drop off Carson sleeping stuff before she wants back to work,

Back at the 21st District Jay was in a locked room thinking what would happen if I got killed on the job what would Hailey say. Maya that her daddy is never coming home. He had a wife and daughter and a baby on the way it never bothered him before but it bothered him with the case. Just then Adam and Kevin walked in laughing which polled Jay out of head Adam came over "Hey want to go Molly's I'm buying" Adam said. It was late so he knows he would have to Hailey the next morning about it. When he walked up to the house noticed the door was unlocked which normally Hailey locked at night when she was alone with Maya. He grabbed his gun from his hip and walked carefully and walked to the to see Hailey, Kim talking he put his gun away and remember Kim was coming over after work. To talk Hailey, he walks over to Hailey and kissed her Hailey Jumped, because she excited Jay to go Molly's with Adam and Kevin. Why would he turn down Molly's and not hang out with the boys? Hailey walked back to the kitchen to sit with and wait for Will 10 minutes later there was a knock Jay was kinda confused but answered the but first grabbed his gun it late. But is Will with an offer to go to Molly's Jay turned to look for no but she gave a thumbs up.

What where Hailey and Kim up to this was the second the time he was asked to go to Molly's that night first by Adam and Kevin then Will. Thought to himself before asking "Why are going to Molly's" Will had to think for a moment before saying "is it a crime to hang with my little brother after work?" Jay said "well no just we normally plan it and my birthday is two weeks" After Molly's Will drove Jay home Hailey texted him say Kim and I'm going to bed. When Jay got home he let out a sigh of relief before going to bed. But he did need to talk to Hailey on the way to work. When Hailey woke up saw Jay wasn't it bed she walked downstairs to see Jay sleeping on the couch with some album out. Which meant Jay was thinking about family. Before bed she walked to wake him he was moaning in his sleep Hailey didn't like waking him she remembered once Adam told her Jay almost punched him but she had to. She sat on the floor next to him ran her hand through his hair "Babe wake up it okay your in Chicago with me and Maya" Jay woke up sat up "Hey Hailey need to talk to you after we drop Maya and Carson off" Hailey nodded and got up to wake up Maya and Carson. After that Hailey and Jay got ready and then went make sure the girls where.

After dropping them off at Will's. "Jay what do want talk about?" she asked him softly. Jay signed remembered his thought from the day before.

He took a deep breath before saying

"what would happen if I got killed on the job Hailey what would say to Maya that her daddy is never coming home." "Hailey how would talk about me to the baby and that she would never get to meet dad because he wasn't careful"

"Jay you can't think like that you're not going to die on the job Jay and you are careful"

"Hailey how many time have been shot"

"Jay you have been shot 3 times but only could have been fatal but it wasn't Jay you had no idea that you were going to get kidnapped and shot you were just trying to help her. Because you have the biggest heart out of anyone know Jay"

"Can we please just stop talking about this, please. Hailey"

"yah but when we are done with work we finishing this okay" When they got to work didn't say a word to each other. When talking about the case Hailey couldn't stop thinking about her and Jay conversion they had that morning so she ran to the locker. Hank looked at Jay and said "Jay my office now" Jay nodded and followed Hank to his.

Kim, Vennessa followed Hailey down to the locker room Vennessa asked her "Hailey what's wrong did something happen does Kim need to knock some sense into Jay" Vennessa asked her.

"Vennessa I think Hanks already doing that for me"

Back upstairs

Jay shut the door behind him

"Jay WHAT WAS THAT I HAVE TOLD YOU NOT BRING YOUR GUYS problems to work you and Hailey have the rest of the day so u guys can solve the problem okay now go downstairs and get Hailey and don't be surprised if you get jumped by Kim or Vennessa okay," Hank said

"Okay Sarge," Jay said and walked out when Jay walked into locker he didn't any of girls so went and asked Trudy "Hey Trudy where the girls," he asked

"Jay they took her home I was just going to go tell Hank" Jay nodded and walked upstairs with Trudy. "Hey Hank I need to tell you something," Trudy said. Hank walked over to Trudy "What is it" he asked her.

"Vanessa, Kim took Hailey home" Trudy responded. Hank nodded and said "thank you" and looked at Jay and said "go home" jay nodded and walked away and went his truck to drive home on his way home he called Will to ask if Maya could stay the night Will said yes and that Hailey already asked. At home saw Kim's car and he going to get jumped by Kim so he decided to go in and whatever happened. When walked in he was greeted by a very angry Kim yelled Jay was home Kim and Vennessa left leaving Jay and Hailey to talk

" Hailey shouldn't have left us in argument before work we should have talked," Jay said

"Jay I should have listened to what u were saying instead of what I did but Jay you can't think like that and u careful at work, when that time which it won't I will figure out what to tell Maya but u will meet your baby Jay okay," Hailey said putting her hands o his shoulders.

"But Hailey you can't promise that you can't that I will meet my kid," Jay said

"Jay you need a breath or I will call Brett to give you something and take you to the hospital," Hailey said

"No, I don't need brett to come," Jay said

"Then claim down Jay okay" Hailey said

Jay claimed done and then walk over to the couch to sit Hailey next to him and rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.
