"Alright Iggy , go hop into bed okay?" he whispered to her once they got inside their house. "Yes daddy" He leaned down so she could give him a kiss on his cheek. "I love yout daddy, hehe you and mommy" Making him blush, he said " we love you too Iggy" he ruffled his hand through her silky hair as she turned and rand towards her room. He stood there for a moment watching as she giggled jumping onto her bed. He began walking to their room when he heard Nashi say "I have the best mommy and daddy in the world!, who else has a dragon daddy. He hee. I'm all fired up" she whispered shouted. Natsu's face turned red as it warmed his heart hearing her say that. "Hmmm," he chuckled to himself as he went in with Lucy and Happy and shut the door." And here we go" he said quietly as he gently took Lucy off his back and laid her down on the bed taking off her shoes and clothes then covering her with the blanket. He kicked off his sandals and took off his clothes as he climbed in with her. Without expecting it, Lucy unconsciously snuggled against him which surprised him but he welcomed it as he smiled at her. "Ha, I love you too Luce" he put an arm around her stomach bringing her closer to him.
The next morning ,Lucy woke up to her body feeling extremely heavy. "My head" she ached quietly as she grabbed it with her hand. "Why am I so ?" she turned and smiled as she saw Natsu sleeping soundly with his arm wrapped around her stomach tight. She gently patted his hand as she suddenly put a hand over her mouth. Quickly she yanked his arm out from around her as she ran to the bathroom .Feeling movement, Natsu very groggily with his eyes only half opened said " wha , Lucy.." "Na..sssuu" He heard then he heard hurling as he instantly opened his eyes and sprang out of the bed running to the bathroom. She couldn't even look at him as he got down to the floor and pulled her hair back. " I got you Lucy" he said comforting as he rubbed her back with his free hand. "Sssomebody kill me, god I feel horrible" she whined with her head hanging over the toilet . "Are you done? he asked unsure. Her hands shook as she held onto to the toilet bowl but she slowly nodded her head as Natsu gently said "come on, let's get you up,easy" as he got her to her feet. Putting his hands carefully around her sides, he guided her back to the bed as she got back into it.
He covered her back up with the blanket. "Heyy, , everything okay?" asked Happy who woke up. "Shh, everything is good Happy" he said quietly. "How are you feeling Lucy?" "She's still feeling pretty crappy, go back to sleep buddy" "Are you sure?" he asked wondering. Natsu grinned and said "yeah I got this" Sounding positive and insistent on him going back to sleep, Happy curled back up and closed his eyes. "I'll be right back Luce" he told her as he got up but felt a tug as he looked and saw Lucy grabbed his arm. His cheek turned pink as he warmly placed a hand on top of hers and said "hey I'm not going anywhere, I'm just going to get you some water" .
Gently he took his hand off hers as she let go and snuggled back into the bed as he walked out of the room . He came back a few minutes later with a big glass. "Hey Luce, I need you to sit up" he said sitting on the edge of the bed as he handed her the glass. Her face was one of disgust as she held it to her mouth. "Erza said you have to drink lots of water to get yourself better" He put his hand to her head as he said "your still pretty warm, well that means I'm not going anywhere today" he said nonchalantly ." Drink up Lucy" he nodded as she gulped and sucked down some of the water. "I'm going to get Nashi , keep drinking that" he said with a thumbs up as he went to get Nashi. "Wakey, wakey little dragon" he teased as he walked into her room. "Ig" "BOO" Nashi screamed from behind the door jumping onto his back. "Woah, hey there" he said lauhing. "Did I get you, did I get you" "Ha, yeah I'll admit you got me there" "Yes" she raised her arm in victory.
" You'll get it later hehe, come on , get on down" she let go of his neck and slid off his back. "What are we doing today daddy?" she asked eager. "I have to take care of mom today. I'm sorry baby girl" "It's okay, can i help you?" " You really want to help?' he asked curious. Nashi nodded her head very fast as she had a great big smile on her face. "Haha alright then you can be my helper today then. "What do I do first?" she asked. "Hmm, go check and see if mommy finished her glass of water and bring it to me" he told her as she jumped up and walked to Lucy's room. "Mommy" she said quietly. "Hey Nashi" she said sounding tired. "Did you finish your water?"she asked as she went to look for herself. "Yeah,as much as I hated it" she thought to herself as she said "yup I did" then saw Nashi reach for it. "What are you doing baby?" "I'm helping daddy and he said to bring the glass to him." Her cheeks blushed as she smiled and said "daddy's little helper today?" "Uh huh" she said cheerful as she walked out of the room.'
"Good job Iggy" he told her as he went back to the sink to fill it up again. "Okay, now go bring this back to her. We have to make sure she keeps drinking today then mommy will get better" "Yay" Nashi exclaimed as she carefully walked back to Lucy with a full glass. "Daddy says you need to drink this whole thing mommy" "Yeah yeah make me" she mumbled under her breath. "I heard that" Natsu yelled at her. "I was joking" "Don't try me Luce, you know you won't win" Lucy crossed her arms but began laughing at what he said as she took the glass and began drinking. " Iggy, come here kid" Natsu called as she came running. "I'm going to fill this pitcher with water to make it easier for you to pour water alright" "Okay daddy" she said. "I'll be right back okay?, I'm going to the guild to get some food for mommy from Mira , you stay here and watch over everyone" "Aye" she squeaked happily. He ran his hand through her hair messing with it as he said "I love you Nashi" "I love you too" she replied as he got his sandals on and left for the guild
