"Hell?" she questioned. Natsu hit his forehead with his hand. "Idiot" he mumbled to himself. Him and Lucy hadn't gotten to explaining all that to Nashi, not that they believed in that kind of stuff but they decided to hold off telling her about the different worlds and dimensions until she was old enough to understand them. He crouched down to her level and grabbed her hands and whispered "Nashi..this place we're 's a really bad place where's there's bad things everywhere" He saw her eyes go big in fear. He squeezed one of her hands and in a comforting voice " don't worry, they won't touch you. Your dad won't let them hurt you okay?" She nodded as Natsu stood back up. "Daddy?" "What's up?" "You've called me by my first name a lot" she said anxiously. He almost never called her Nashi unless he was angry or serious. "Daddy...are we in big trouble?" her voice had a tremble in it. He contemplated on what to tell her as he looked at her. "Crap..arrrgh. this would be so much easier if Lucy was here with us" He cursed himself in his head.
Taking a breathe, he looked at Nashi and said "not yet Nashi..but we need to make sure it stays that way, come on. We have to get out of this corner" he grabbed her hand gently but tightly as they walked to try to find a way out. "Don't worry Iggy, daddy's got you" . he turned and said with a smile which she returned as her hand stopped shaking after he said that. "There's dark fire everywhere" she said as they walked. "Yeah, don't touch it. That is not like our fire" he informed. They came across another pass as Natsu whispered "stay right here Nashi, I'm checking if it's clear" she nodded as he went to check. As he walked, he felt something pass by him but it was only for a second. "What was that?. It was only for an instant but i felt pure evil" he thought to himself as he looked back and fourth but saw nothing so he turned around. "Come on Nashi" he said as they began walking again.
"Do you think a lot of people died down here daddy?" she asked him as he came to a dead stop as she bumped into him. Without turning around, very coldly he said " who the hell are you..because you are not my daughter" "Wha..wha..what are you talking about daddy?" He quickly turned and picked her up by her shirt off the ground with a dark look in his eyes said "Nashi would never ask that because I never mentioned anything about people. I'll ask again , who the fuck are you and what have you done with my daughter?" Nashi's scared face turned into one with a wicked grin on her face as she wretched out of Natsu's hands and jumped to a wall and clung to it. "Hahaha. It didn't take you long to figure that out" said Nashi. " I felt something when I was around the corner but didn't think it was you" He said as he flammed up his hands. "WHERE THE HELL IS MY DAUGHTER!" he shouted as he went at her and landed a fire attack on her arm as she jumped across and landed behind him. "Hehehe. guess your not that smart are you?" she teased as he angrily snapped "what the hell are you talking about?" Nashi turned around with an evil smile as her face suddenly turned into one of fear as she cried "DADDY HELP ME!" "NASHI!" he screamed as her innocent face disappeared. "You bastard, get the fuck out of my kid!" he yelled growling. "Nahh" "Why you" he launched an arm back when the demon went "no, no ,no. You don't want to hurt your child do you? " Natsu's arm shook as he reluctantly put it down. "Shit!" he thought. "What do I do now?"
"Loke, is there any way to get someone down there?" asked Lucy. "No Lucy, no humans can survive that world. Either the demons kill them or the air does." "Damn it" she yelled. "How the fuck do we save my family then?" "I'm still working on that Lucy but I promise I will find a way. I'm going to go back to the spirit world. See if anyone can tell me anything there. I promise I won't be gone long" he swore as he disappeared before she could say anything to him. Slamming her hands down on a table, she yelled out of frustration. "Go for a walk Lucy" said Gray. "You aren't going to help anyone if your stressed like this."Natsu and Nashi are in hell Gray!. You think going for a walk is going to help me relax" she angrily snapped. "You think" "ENOUGH!" hollered Erza as she stood between the two of them. "Both of you shut up, you guys are family. This is not the time to bicker. Lucy, do as Gray suggested and go for a walk" Lucy glared at her . "Now" said Erza intensely as she turned on her heels and stomped out. "Happy , go with her, make sure she cools" "Aye, I'm on the way"
After Lucy left, she turned to Gray. "You know she didn;t mean anything harsh" Gray relaxed himself and leaned against a wall. "I know, I wasn't going to hold it against her. She's right. I'm not married and don't have a child. I was just trying to get her to breath." She chuckled and said "well valiant effort but I don't think she will be good until we bring her family home." Makarov heard and nodded his head. "You heard her, get back to work brats on bringing our dragon slayers home!" Everyone nodded as they got back to looking through papers and books.
"Lucy, calm down" urged Happy. He didn't have a problem keeping up with her but she was still stomping and they were at least a mile away from the guild now. He flew in front of her where in an uncertain voice "Lucy,please stop" His voice got her to stop as she looked at him and saw the worry in his face. "I know your worried. I am too but we can't loose our heads right now" "Ha..Happy what are we going to do, we can't even go down there and who knows what they are facing right now" She found a tree and sat against it as Happy jumped on her legs and looked up at her. "Hey, you know Natsu would never let anything happen to her. He'll die before he let's that happen. You and I will figure this out. This isn't the first time it's been you and me. We will rescue Natsu and Nashi and bring them home" he said full of optimism making her smile as she scooped him and brought him to her shoulder hugging him as he hugged her. "Don't worry Lucy" he whispered kindly. She took a big breath and let it out as she let the hug go and looked at his face.
"Come on, let's go back to the guild. We are waiting for an answer from Loke right?" he said "Right" she said with some cheer in her voice as she got up from the ground and they headed back to Fairy Tail. Once they got there, she smiled at Erza and Gray a small smile as she walked towards Gray. "Hey, what's up?"he asked nonchalant. "I'm sorry for snapping at you, I didn't" He put a hand out making her stop then looked at her with a kind and understanding expression. "Lucy, trust me ,you don't need to apologize. I know you are worried about Natsu and Nashi." She looked at him with sad eyes as he said "really Lucy, I promise you are good" he put his hands on her shoulders as he said "Okay?" She nodded her head as he brought her in for a hug as she put her arms around his waist accepting the hug. "Juvia, don't say a word" sniped Gajeel as he saw the water mage give them a dirty look. "She's worried for her man and her kid. You can't blame her. Besides you know he loves her like a sister. "I know, I know. Old habits die hard" she told him. "Hmm, I'm hoping we can get his dragon ass back here cause I'm not sure how long that kid will survive down there" "Your worried?" asked Juvia surprised.
"Don't make it sound like such a big deal. Dragneel is a pain in the ass but he's a good person and that kid of theirs is a little ass kicker. I could think of a million people that deserve to be where they are at but the two of them aren't it." Juvia's face blushed hearing Gajeel sound so sincere and honest. He noticed and mumbled "hey don't look at me like that. She's the shrimps best friend and I've spent time with their ankle biter. And Natsu..we get along fine" "Okay, okay" Juvia laughed lightly at Gajeels rare show of affection at someone other then Levy. Gray let go of Lucy and looked at her as he got her to raise her head up. "You alright?" he asked. "Yeah..better then I was." "Good" "Has anyone heard from Loke yet?" she asked. "Unfortunately not" answered Erza walking to stand up next to them. "Come on Loke..please"Lucy pleaded
