"Where do you want to go Lucy?" Erza asked. "Let's go to our home, the woods back there are a good area to catch anything that might come out after them." "Okay, let's get moving then" said Gray. "Aye sir!" "Good luck Lucy" wished Makarov. "Thanks Gramps. We are going to bring them home" she told him and the guild as her team went with her to their home. "Okay ..so how does this key work?" asked Gray. "I didn't think about that" confessed Lucy. "Just use it like you do with any other key"said Loke. "Oh your still here Loke" "I'm seeing through to the end with you Lucy" "Thanks Loke" he nodded his head to her as they all got to her house and walked around the back. "Alright, everyone ready?" They all nodded their heads. "Do It Lucy" encouraged Happy. Her determination grew as she yelled "Open gate of the underworld!" A gateway portal came in front of them and opened in front of them. "What do we do now?" asked Happy. "We have to wait and see Happy"Loke told him as they all looked at Lucy who didn't say anything but they could tell from looking at her that she was hopeful but scared because they just saw a black hole in front of them.
"Alright, come on damn it. There has got to be a way out of here" he yelled out. He was carrying Nashi in his arms trying not to drop her as he ran. He dived for a corner as he heard demons coming. "I'm all out of power so I can't even use that to help us" he said quietly. "Stupid hellfire" He got as low as he could without them seeing him but made a run for it as soon as they were past the next tunnel. Unfortunately he kicked a rock which the demons heard. "CRAP!" as the demons saw and he started running for his life. "Fuck!,now what do i do" "Natsuu" he heard making him stop dead in his tracks. It was only a whisper but he knew he heard it. "Lucy" he perked his ears up waiting to hear it again. "Come on. Come on , I know i heard it." "Natsuu" this time it was louder. "Ha, I knew I heard her voice. I'm coming Lucy!" he yelled as he began running again. Lucy stood there at the gateway with her hands over her mouth. "What made you think of that?asked Gray. "Well I thought if we can't go in then maybe my voice can go in and lead him here" " Clever" said Happy. "Wise thinking Lucy" admired Erza as she looked back towards the gate. "Thanks Erza, you too Happy" she thanked as she turned her body back towards the gate to try again. "NATSUUUUU"
As he was running, he saw a light far off in the distance. "That must be the gate but wait if I can see it..son of a bitch" he looked behind him to see a pile of demons chasing after him. "They must see the gate..crap. I need to get out of here" he realized as he tried to run as fast as his legs could carry him. "DON'T CLOSE THAT GATE LUCY!" he shrieked as he zoomed around a corner but what he saw almost made him drop Nashi. "Nnnnnno waaay" he stuttered trying not to tremble as he looked at the demon Deliora standing in front of him. "YYour dead" Deliora looked at them and smiled as Natsu saw all his fangs gleaming. "I am, but this is hell, demons are free here and you guys look tasty" he said with glee as he threw Nashi high into the air as Deliora swiped at them but he missed Natsu as he dove under his legs as Nashi was coming down fast. He caught her as he was running without stopping. "Almost there Nashi, going to get you out of here"
"I'm starting to get nervous..where is he?" said Lucy. "We can't keep this gate open much longer, once the demons down there discover it's open, they won't hesitate for a second to use it to come here. There are massive numbers of them down there and wont pass up a chance to come up to the human world to create chaos" said Loke straight forward. Lucy looked at him with a scared face as her hand started to shake with the key in it. "What do I do?"she thought to herself. "This is crazy Loke, we can't close it. You could be leaving the two of them trapped there forever" snapped Gray. "You don't think I know that" said Loke hearing the fear in Grays voice. "I don't want her to close it either but for all we kn" "Don't you dare finish that sentence" threatened Erza as she gave him a hard look. "I'm still a part of Fairy Tail so of course I don't want that Erza! but I'm a celestial spirit first and Lucy is my gate keeper. Keeping her safe is my first priority." "Leave it open for a couple minutes or so help me , I will pound you into the ground Loke" There was no mercy or hesitating in Erza's voice as she told him that and he felt that as his body let out a scared shake. Happy jumped onto Lucy's shoulder. "He is coming Lucy, I know it" she nodded her head.
Natsu saw the demons getting closer as he saw the light getting closer "LUCY, DON'T YOU DARE CLOSE THAT GATE!" he decided to take a chance as he lifted Nashi above his shoulders and threw her towards the gate as the the demons were closing in on him and the gate. He watcher her fly through the air towards the gate and into it. As in slow motion, Natsu made a leap of faith as he jumped into the air from the demons as one of them tried to grab his foot as he just barely got it out of its reach as he dived for the open portal and felt himself being rushed through. He landed on the other side on top of Nashi without looking up and shouted "CLOSE THAT GATE NOW!" He looked behind him as he heard a scream and watched the gate close as the demons came to it. Not stopping he scooped Nashi up and ran for it. "Natsu!" he heard behind him but wasn't stopping. "We made it back, whew" he said after realizing after a few seconds that they were back in Magnolia. He didn't stop until they reached the infirmary. "SOMEBODY HELP ME!" he pleaded as he crashed to his knees with Nashi in his arms. Wendy and Carla came running around the corner knowing Natsu's voice. "What happened?!" exclaimed Carla. "Please just help her" he begged holding her as Wendy carefully picked her up and laid her on a bed as she went running with her. "Carla, wait, I didn't get to tell Wendy" What is it Natsu?" "Don't wake her, there's a demon possessing her"
Carla's eyes widened but she nodded understanding. "You should get looked at" she said but he waved her off. "Don't worry about me, please take care of my baby dragon" he sounded so ashamed , it broke Carla's heart as she listened and walked back towards Wendy. Natsu wen't back to an empty room and sat there looking down at his hands."Mavis forgive me,I am so sorry Nashi" he said broken as he sat there alone ridiculing himself for hurting his child.
"What the hell was that?" said Gray as they all only saw Natsu in a blur before he took off running. "He had Nashi right?" "Yes, I saw her, it was only for a second, but I saw her" All of them were throwing questions back and fourth quickly before Lucy ran between all of them. "Lucy, hey! where are you going?" yelled Gray but he knew where she was going as soon the words left his mouth. "My baby" was the only thought going through Lucy's head as she ran towards the infirmary and burst through the doors. She didn't bother asking anyone, she just ran without any real cognitive thought in her head. She ran until she caught a peek of Wendy then ran into the room she went into and stopped on a dime. Wendy turned and saw her. "L..Lucy" said Wendy with a small stutter. "Wendy" said Lucy, trying to keep her voice calm and stable. Wendy had a sad look on her face as she turned her body to let Lucy look. Her hands went into fists as her body shook in anger as she looked at her unconscious daughter. The marks on her face angered her to her core. "There's something else Lucy" She slowly turned as Wendy jumped seeing the cold ,mean look on Lucy's face. "What?" she said indignant. "There...is...a demon..possessing her" Lucy felt her nails go into her hands as she pressed them into her palm. "Where is he?" she said through gritted teeth. "I uh..I don't know Lucy" She shot out of the room like a bat out of hell. "NATSU!" she screeched as she went zooming through down the hallways until she caught sight of him. Throwing the door open, she stormed over and slapped him hard across his face but he just looked at her furious face. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED, WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR BABY! she screamed " YOU THINK I WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN LUCE. IT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET HER OUT. I FEEL BAD ENOUGH , I DON'T NEED YOU MAKING IT WORSE!" he shouted back at her as he slumped back down in the chair he was sitting in.
