She stopped yelling as she looked at his face and saw the shape he was in. "Oh Natsu. I'm so sorry" She could see the guilt written all over his face as she calmed herself and crouched down to the floor and put her hands on his knees. "I'm sorry Natsu..I saw her face and then..I don't know. I lost it. I shouldn't have taken it out on you" She saw tears slowly dripping down his face as she took his face into her hands careful not to hurt his eye. Softly she said "hey ..you didn't do this to her. This was because of that demon. I may not have been there but I know that you knocked her out because there was no other way to save her. Look at me Natsu, please" Her voice got his attention as his eyes looked up at her as she wiped away the tears gently off that were falling. "Luce." "Shhhh you don't have to say anymore" she told him as she wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him as it took him a minute , but he put his hands around her waist and hugged her back. "I love you "" I love you too Natsu, always have, always will" "Come on, let's go check on her" said Natsu. "Are you sure, i mean do you feel up to with your injuries?" she asked concerned "Don't worry about me Luce. I want to find out how to get this thing out of her" She took him at his word as she grabbed his hand and walked with him as he used his other arm wipe the remaining tears off his face.

They walked until they got to her room and peeked in on her. "She looks still as a statue..how long until that thing wakes her up." "We aren't sure , but I don't think it's going to be long" said Wendy as she came up behind them. "Let's go to the guild Lucy,maybe Gramps has an idea"suggested Natsu as he still holding her hand walked them past Wendy. "Master and them already know what happened, I had Carla go and tell them what's happening" "Thanks Wendy" said Natsu.

They got to the guild where everyone was talking trying to figure stuff out. " Hey gramps" said Natsu and Lucy as they walked up to him. "Hello my children, I am sorry about what's happening with your child" Natsu and Lucy both had sullen looks on their faces. "What can we do to fix this?" asked Lucy. "I have one option but neither of you will like it" said Makarov regretfully. "What is it?" they both asked in unison. "She ...must be taken to the council..we will exercise the demon out of her." Both of their faces dropped as he looked at them. "Absolutely not" "Lucy" "NO, i refuse to go to them" She snapped waving her hand to the side as she adamantly refused. "Have you forgotten the fucking shit they have put me and you through and now they expect me to let them near my daughter. No i refuse" "Lucy, stop" Lucy turned to him in complete surprise as he seemed freakishly calm about all of it. "Natsu!, how can you say that, of all people." "Believe me..I can't stand them and I'm not into this idea anymore then you are...but gramps wouldn't suggest this if there were any other way. Think about it Luce..do you know of anyone else who could expel a demon out of Nashi safely?" "I just..hhate" He went and stood directly behind her as he grabbed her hands and squeezed. They both closed their eyes as she laid back against him as he put his cheek against hers. "I know Luce..she'll be alright though" she squeezed his hands for reassurance which he returned as everyone went silent letting them have their moment.

Once they had their moment, he stepped out from behind her and stood next to her. "Okay gramps, if this is the way to do it, then let's do it" he said spirited. "Alright, let's go, Gray,Erza and Happy, you come too" Makarov said as they all followed him to the council. Once they got there, Jurrah was there to greet them as they followed him to a backroom with Nashi who was transported magically as she was laid down on a bed. "I hate this. this hate that we have to do this" mumbled Lucy. Natsu gave her an understanding look but they both turned as they saw Nashi open her eyes. "Nashi" they both said unsure. A wicked grin appeared on her face as she attempted to jump at them but cuffs appeared on her hands before she could move. They clamped to her hands and feet as she shook her body all over. "Nashi!" freaked Lucy as Natsu grabbed her to keep her from going over. He saw the eerie smile Nashi had on her face. "That's not her Luce" he said as he glared at the thing inside his daughter. "Haha, she screamed when the fire touched her" he gloated. "Shut your damn mouth" snapped Natsu. "I'm going to make her cry..I won't go easy" "You bastard!"Natsu yelled as his hand swung but Erza caught it before it went flying. " Erza, Gray , get them out of here"directed Makarov as they grabbed them but they didn't go willing. "Let me go Erza!" yelled Natsu angrily. "Gray!" cried Lucy. Happy floated above him staying out of the way as he watched sadly. "Hahahahaha" the demon laughed. "GET OUT OF HER!" screamed Lucy as they were dragged out leaving Nashi with Makarov and the rest of the council

He walked up to her. "Heehee, she is terrified" boasted the demon. "Let me talk to her you piece of filth" In an instant,Nashi was back. Her face full of tears and fear. "Nashi, my child, I am so sorry. "It'sss oookkkay" she struggled. "Issss itt ggoing to hhurt?" Makarov closed his eyes and nodded in regret. "Pplease get it out. Dddaddy is in enough pain" "Such a brave little girl, just like her parents. she didn't say anything about the pain she know's going to be in, just worried about her father" he thought as he smiled a kind smile at her at which the demon came back to the surface. Makarov's face turned to one of stone cold anger. "You will leave this child you bastard" He looked up and nodded to the other members as they stood around her. "Let's begin" he said as they closed their eyes and began to chant. Natsu and Lucy were sitting there waiting when they heard a scream making them tense up but they knew they couldn't go in. A couple hours went by as Natsu paced back and fourth furiously while Lucy sat in a chair crying as they heard their baby girl cry out in pain as it sounded like they were tearing her apart. A shrill shriek got their attention as Natsu had enough and tried to bust through the door. Gray grabbed him and stopped him. "You can't man. They have to do this." "THEY ARE TORTURING HER!" "I know, I'm sorry but look" he said understanding as he nudged his head behind having Natsu look behind them. The saw Erza holding very distraught Lucy. "Lucy" he said softly as he stopped fighting Gray and walked over to Erza and Lucy. He just gave Erza a look as she let go of Lucy as Natsu put his hands around her stomach as she leaned into him as he lowered them to the floor. " " she couldn't finish her words but she didn't have to because he felt the same way. He didn't say anything as he let her cry.
