Morning came and Tony was up early. Even if it was short he couldn't sleep anymore. Softly Tony got out of his tent and went to the lake for a morning swim. The others were still asleep. Well he thought. He didn't noticed Simon sitting by the lake looking at the sunrise.

Tony swam for 20 minutes before he got out. "Morning Tony. You're up early." Simon said.

Tony flinched. He didn't noticed he wasn't alone anymore, he recovered fast and smiled. "Morning Doc. Nothing is better than a early swim."

"Just like the sunrise and Tony you can call me Simon here. Coffee?" Simon asked and indicated to the thermos besides him.

"Uhm sure." Tony said and sat down besides him. They were silent for a moment and looking at the sunrise.

"Tony can I ask you something?" Simon asked suddenly.

Tony looked curiously at him. "Uhm sure ask away."

"I didn't mean to look but I noticed some scars on your back. Are they from your childhood? I heard you hadn't had a good one." Simon asked carefully.

Tony looked behind himself and quickly puts his towel around his shoulder. He didn't knew they were that visible.

"Don't worry. You don't noticed them if you don't know where to look." Simon said kindly.

"Then why do you want to know? What does it matter?" Tony asked tensed.

Simon looked ashamed. Tony had a point. He was just curious. "Nothing. You're right I shouldn't ask. I wanted to ask you how it was for you when Jethro took care of you. Did you accept everything Jethro told you or was is hard for you? I know Oscar had not the same childhood as you but he did got to live with me. I suddenly was his guardian."

Tony looked at him curiously. "Why don't you ask him those questions? I think he is the best one to answer those questions."

"Yeah I know. It's just the other day I asked Jethro for advice and it worked. I realized then that I didn't knew enough about adopted children."

Tony sighs. Gibbs told him about the advice he gave Simon. He just wanted to learn and now he asked his advice. "Well you understand my situation is totally different than Oscars but I think if you ask generally then I would say we need to know that we are wanted and that we are safe. That somebody is always there for you. And I would say no it wasn't that easy when Gibbs took care of me. I took care of myself for a long time and then suddenly somebody else took care of me and taught me thing I was taught differently."

Simon eyes lifted up when Tony start talking to him for real and answering some of his questions.

Tony stood up to walk away but turned around for one last time. "If you ask my advice I would say talk to him for real. He is the only one that could answer your questions. And believe me it will be hard sometimes to get to talk about that stuff. You could asked Gibbs. But it is also a learning process for both of you." Tony said before he turned around.

"Tony!" Simon called after him and Tony turned around. "Thank you." Tony nodded and smiled before he walked to his tent.

Gibbs was there waiting for him. He saw Simon and Tony talking. He looked concerned when Tony suddenly puts his towel around his shoulder but saw that Tony didn't refused to talk to Simon.

"Hey did everything go okay?" Gibbs asked.

"Yeah fine. I am going to change." Tony said but Gibbs stopped him and lifts his chin so he looked him in the eye.

"They are not that visible. You only see them if you know where to look. You want to talk about it?" Gibbs asked. Wanted to give Tony an option if he needed talk.

"Nope. I just want to put my clothes on."

Gibbs ruffled his hair. "Alright." He said and let Tony go inside the tent.

Simon walked to him as he was making a fire. "Jethro I hope I didn't upset Tony." Simon asked concerned when he saw Gibbs waiting for him.

"No. He just didn't sleep much. He will be fine you will see." Gibbs said.

"I hope so. I really appreciate Tony's advice. He told me you both talked a lot."

"Yep. Gave us some big fights but we also talked it out. We are both stubborn man." Gibbs said with a smile.

"Yeah I could see that. Hard to believe he is not yours by blood."

"Good morning. I hope you all slept well?" Josh said with a happy face.

"Yeah fine" they said.

"BRUCE! Get you butt out of the tent! It's a beautiful morning." Josh yelled.

Tony laughed when he saw Bruce coming out of the tent. Oscar soon followed when he heard the yelling.

"I love those wake ups." Oscar said sarcastically.

"Yeah don't you just love my dad." Bruce said and snort.

"Oww! Hey!" Bruce said as Josh gave him a swat on his backside.

"Stop complaining and get up or you could find more." Josh said.

Bruce was shocked and quickly got out of the tent. The others laughed.

"So what's the plan for today" Oscar asked when they had eaten.

"I thought maybe we could go into the woods and see what we could find. Maybe we spot an animal or something." Josh said.

"Oh Oscar can tell you all about the animals." Tony said with a laugh and Oscar elbowed him. Bruce grinned.

"How could I have know it was not dangerous? It's not like I am in the woods all day." Oscar said.

"You live in Stillwater. There is nature all around you." Tony said and Oscar crossed his arms.

"Some people are not... look I am not a scout type."

"Doesn't matter Oscar. I will tell you all about it. You walk in front with me." Josh said excited. The look on Oscar's face was so laughable that Tony and Bruce had to walk away to keep from laughing out loud.

Gibbs gave Tony a headslap when he walked away.

"Come Oscar follow me I want to show you something." Josh said after a hours of walking. Josh was showing him all kind of things in the woods. Oscar sighs and crouched next to Josh who was looking at something. Tony and Bruce laughed and waved at him happily when they walked by. Oscar sticked out his tongue at them before he looked at what Josh was seeing.

"You see it?" Josh asked.

"See what?" Oscar asked confused. He only saw branches and leaves.

"Look closely. I think you know those guys." Josh said with a smile.

"Snakes? They are not poisonous right?"

"Nope what you say you give your friends a taste of their own medicine?"

Oscar looked at him if he was crazy before his eyes lifted up and had a big smile on his face.

Josh helped to get the snakes before they walked to the others. Josh and Oscar were walking behind Tony and Bruce who were in a deep conversation to noticed them.

Josh looked at Oscar before he nodded and said softly now. They put the snakes on the shoulders of Tony and Bruce who screamed. Josh smiled at the reaction and Oscar laughed hysterically. Simon and Gibbs looked confused behind them at what was happening.

"That is so not funny!" Tony screamed.

"Are you crazy!" Bruce yelled.

"What's wrong? They are harmless. I don't understand your reaction. You both told me yourself." Oscar said innocent and smiled.

"Oh you are death." Tony said and smiled.

"How fast can you run?" Bruce asked and gave Oscar a look.

"Uhm wh..why" Oscar stuttered.

"Tony?" Bruce said and raised his eyebrow before he said now.

"Oh shit." Oscar said before he ran away and Bruce and Tony were soon following.

The adults shook their heads and smiled. "Boys" they said before they walked back instead of running like the boys were. Who were running in the direction of the camp.

"Ha got you!" Tony yelled and laughed when Oscar ran into the water.

Bruce jumped on him and laughed before he pushed him underwater. Oscar came up with a deep breath.

"Hey it was only a joke. You did it on me!" Oscar said.

"It was Tony's idea". Bruce said.

"Hey!" Tony said before he pushed Bruce under water. Bruce came up and he pushed Tony under water. Soon they were having fun and they all pushed each other under water.

"Well looks like they got each other." Simon said with a smile when he saw that they were having fun. The adults soon came out of the woods and nodded.

The boys swam a little after they pushed each other under when suddenly Oscar went underwater. Shocked Oscar came up again.

"Uhm guys we have to get out of here there is a rip current. I think." Oscar said scared as he could feel how strong it was.

Tony and Bruce looked afraid and tried to get out of the water but unfortunately it wasn't that easy. Suddenly Bruce lost his footing and went under water. Tony quickly tried to grab him and Oscar tried to hold Tony but it was too strong and they went with the current.

"DAD!!" They yelled. The adults looked up and saw that their boys were in trouble. They quickly ran to the them long the river.

"There is a fallen tree of there. Try to get hold of it!" Gibbs yelled.

"Good call". Josh said who ran besides him. He looked afraid. The boys had trouble keeping their heads above water.

"There is ... the tree. It's...now or never..." Oscar said breathless.

Bruce was the first one but unfortunately instead of getting hold of the tree he came hard against the tree trunk with his left shoulder. "AHH!" Bruce cries.

Tony was soon besides him and grabbed Bruce to get his head above water and grabbed the tree trunk. Oscar also got hold of Bruce and held the tree trunk firmly.

"You okay?" Tony yelled when Bruce still didn't grab a hold of the tree.

"No... think... I dislocated my ... shoulder..." Bruce said painfully. Tony shared a concerned look with Oscar. Together they held Bruce closer against them.

"Hold on we are here!" Josh said.

Gibbs carefully went to the tree trunk. "Give your hand Oscar. I will pull you out first." Gibbs said.

"No Bruce..." Oscar begins.

"Dad...Bruce thinks...his shoulder... is dislocated. He needs ...to get out first." Tony said breathless.

Gibbs nodded and carefully with Josh they pulled Bruce out of the water first. Simon helped Josh who brought Bruce to the surface.

"Your turn now Oscar." Gibbs said and Oscar grabbed Gibbs hand and was pulled out. Carefully Oscar went to the others.

Tony got trouble holding the tree. He got tired and went underwater a couple of times. Gibbs grabbed Tony's shirt and held him up.

"Come on son I got you. Time to pull you out." Together they went to the others. Tired and breathlessly Tony sat on the ground next to Oscar.

Simon examine Bruce who was lying the ground. Josh was next to him running a hand through his hair. Hoping to ease the pain a little.

"Alright Bruce. I can set your shoulder but I think it's best we go back the camp. It's not that far from here. I also got my first aid kit there and my bag." Simon said as he stood up.

"Simon a word." Josh said and stood next to Simon.

"Why don't you set his shoulder here? He is in pain. Don't you see?" Josh whispered worriedly.

"Of course I see that Josh. But I got all my stuff in my tent. Besides if I set his shoulder now he would probably passed out. And it would be too risky to carry him back without his shoulder immobilized." Simon said.

Josh looked at Bruce again. He was right. "Alright. Jethro can you help me to get him up?" Josh asked Gibbs who sat besides Bruce while he and Simon spoke.

"Yeah sure. Bruce you keep hold of your arm alright. We will help you stand." Gibbs said. Together they got him up. Josh was immediately by his side and helped him walking back to the camp.

Simon went to Oscar and did a quick check. Simon also kept hold of Oscar while they walked back and of course Gibbs did the same.
