Things I've learnt since starting here at Hakone just under two months ago:
One: Fukutomi really doesn't take training lightly, he will push you to your limit, then make you do another 10 minute set
Two: Takada and Hamasaki, along with the third years in the cycling team, might actually be the coolest and friendliest people I've ever known
Three: I really should have started at this school earlier – then again, a 100km round trip by bike to school and back every day would be a bit much.
"Hey Yuu" Takada says. It's only now I realise I have been daydreaming. I snap back into reality and can't help but smile at my embarrassment, "You were daydreaming pretty deeply there, I said your name about three times before you realised" she comments with a light laugh. I can feel my cheeks getting a bit warm from the embarrassment.
"Ah sorry, I guess I was daydreaming a bit there" I reply with a broad smile growing across my face.
"I think Hamasaki may have managed to flush herself down the toilet, she's been gone for quite some time now." We both laugh together at the comment but I wouldn't put it past her to do that sort of thing. Whilst she's usually fairly coordinated, at least with her feet anyway, she can be forgetful and a bit of a klutz at times. You would think, being a long and triple jumper, that she would have good coordination and balance but at times I really have to question it. Whilst it isn't a common occurrence, she has been known to unexpectedly trip over her own feet.
Just as we finish laughing, Hamasaki strolls back into the classroom and walks over to me and Takada.
"Sorry I took a while, one of the underclassmen asked me something in the hallway and my explanation took a little longer than expected" She says
"Don't worry about it" I reply to her.
"Well now that we're all here, why don't we sit in the courtyard for lunch, the weather's getting warmer and it's a really nice day for sitting outside" Takada asks. The weather outside has been getting progressively warmer as the weeks have gone on and more and more students have been sitting outside to eat as opposed to eating in the classrooms.
"I'm up for that," I reply, "but we have to get changed for PE as well remember"
"I'm sure we'll be back in time" Takada replies. We all get up and head out towards the main courtyard between all the buildings. The courtyard then leads towards the back of the school where the tennis courts and running track.

Hello,
Apologies for this being a very short chapter compared to the others, this is a chapter that I never finished but have decided to move onto the Inter High now rather than slowly moving towards it. I thought I'd still update this as a shorter chapter rather than just delete it.
I have now worked through lightly editing the original chapters so moving forward it will all be freshly written chapters. I already have a lot of later chapters written so after I catch up to those, there should be quite a few new chapters coming out very soon!
