Yo, wassup ma dudes and dudettes! I'm back! Sorry for the lack of stuff, I've just been busy with college. And by college, I mean having fun with a bit of class mixed in. I went airsofting for the first time over the past weekend. I got shot by suitemate. Don't worry, I shot back.

Last time on A Hero's Embrace

One moment, Noah was at the House of Mirrors, pushing Eri away. The next, he was in a forest. Several strangers were nearby. There was one guy with purple skin and scars. Another was a lizard dressed weirdly. Then there was a guy in a mask and an orange jacket. There was one girl, a blonde in a schoolgirl uniform. He turned and saw a guy made of mist. Beside him, he saw someone that made his blood freeze. There stood his father, Tomura Shigaraki, who wasn't looking very pleased to see him.

Noah whimpered before snarling, changing. He backed up until his back hit a tree. He looked around desperately, trying to find a way out. Seeing none, the child prepared to fight.

Now

Noah let loose a howl and ran, going for what he thought was the weakest, the one armed mask guy. Before he even got near, he vanished before appearing a few feet off the ground, falling. He didn't have control of his wings so he ended up hitting the ground hard.

He groaned and tried to stand, only for his father to wrap four fingers around his throat. "You imputent little brat! You don't even say hello to your father! You just go on a rampage! I have half a mind to put my pinky down!"

Noah whimpered and shivered, knowing what would happen if he did that. "But, that would ruin what we planned for you." Tomura threw him against a tree, getting some spit to fly from the small child. "I heard that you like a certain girl who can make things go in the past. It would be a shame if she got hurt due to your disobedience." Tomura walked to his child.

Noah paled, fearing for Eri. He bowed his head. "P-Please. F-Father, I w-won't act out anymore. P-Please, j-just l-leave h-her out of th-this." He stuttered out, fear lacing his voice.

"Good boy. That's all you needed to say. Oh, and I don't approve. You won't be allowed near her anymore." Noah whimpered. "But, I know kids. They don't listen. So, to make sure you never approach her, you'll be her antithesis." Noah tilted his head at the big word. "It means you're her opposite. Enjoy killing her if you get close! AHAHAHAHA!" Tomura giggled evilly as his hand neared Noah, red and black tendrils coming from it.

At UA, a few weeks later

There was no joy in the first year hero course dorms. Everyone was down and pissed at themselves for having failed to protect Noah. The Big Three were worse. Tamaki was usually down, but seemed even more than usual. He barely talked to anyone. Mirio lost his trademark grin, now sporting a constant frown. Nejire seemed to have lost all her energy. She no longer flew, no longer asked a million questions, and no longer spoke at all.

Noy and Es hadn't left since Noy chucked Azazel out of a door. Noy, usually an easy going guy, was on edge, ready to lash out at anything. Es was stressed, as evident by her usual tame hair sticking out everywhere. The two worked tirelessly, normally working until they crashed.

Aizawa was concerned about many things. He stayed out later than usual, searching for a hint of Noah's location until late in the morning. Toshinori hadn't smiled since getting the news. He refused to leave his room most times. Vlad had taken over homeroom and Foundational Hero Studies for both classes as it got that bad. But Aizawa had one more thing to be worried about: Eri.

She seemed to have shut down. She no longer smiled, no longer ran around full of energy, no longer played with anyone or anything. She has stayed in Noah's bed since the kidnapping. More than once, Aizawa heard her crying in the night. She started to get dark circles under her eyes. It was like when she was first rescued from Chisaki, but worse. Back then, she showed emotions. Now, she was like a lifeless doll.

It was a normal, melancholic atmosphere in the dorms. The first years were sitting depressed when the door busted open. Noy stood with his foot out, obviously being the one who kicked the door down. Es ran in, red eyes bloodshot, tears running down her face with a giant smile on her face. "We did it! We found him!"

Back with Noah,

Noah slammed into a tree, some blood coming from his mouth. He curled up, whimpering. "You should've used your powers to avoid Kurogiri's portals! You are useless!" Tomura, his father, spat as he walked up and kicked him.

Dabi, having had enough of this, stepped up. "Shiggy! He's had enough!" Tomura turned and glared at the scarred man. "You're reminding me too much of my old man. And that's pissing me off. I should burn you to ash."

Tomura growled by the time Dabi finished and got ready to attack, only for Kurogiri to get between them. "Tomura. Noah needs a break. It wouldn't do to kill him after all the work we did to get him." Tomura turned and walked away, getting a sigh of relief from Dabi.

He approached the shaking form of Noah and gently put his hand on Noah's head. "There there kid. You're safe for now." Noah looked up, tears in his eyes, confused. "I did it because he reminds me of Endeavor. Now, let's go have some fun."

Dabi picked the kid up and walked into the forest, Toga following him. "What're we gonna do Dabi? You said fun, so I'm in"

"We're gonna play a little game. You get to be the witch."

"What?! Why do I have to be the witch?! I always have to be the witch!" Toga pouted.

"Because I'm not a girl, so I can't be the witch. And Noah's the adventurer who fights the witch, so that leaves you." Dabi said before turning to Noah. "Now kid, go get yourself a weapon. You gotta defeat the witch to save your kingdom and a certain white haired princess."

Noah nodded and ran off, looking for a good stick. He ran into a pair of legs, getting a giggle. "Woah little hubby. You better watch where you're going. Or you might run into trouble." Noah looked up, seeing two red orbs filled with elation and concern. Es picked him up and ran. "Rewind to HQ, I have the kid. Go!"

Es ran to Noy, who grew wings and flew off, leaving behind a battleground. Ryukyu was taking on Dabi, who kept blasting her with his blue flames. Crust was fighting Spinner, who couldn't quite pierce his shields. Mirko was trying to land a hit on Toga, who slashed back. Fourth Kind had Twice pinned. Black liquid spewed from the villains' mouths, causing them to vanish.

At UA

Noy landed in front of UA. Es got off and put down Noah. All Might tried to scoop him up, only for Noah to shrink back, scared. Toshinori looked confused for a moment before attempting to hug him again, only for Noah to shrink back once more. Toshinori looked heartbroken, something that made Noah feel even worse.

Aizawa turned to the future versions, only for somber looks to be on Noy's and Es's faces. "Da- Ugh, All Migh- Ugh, Tohsinor- I really don't know what to call you. But things changed." Noy said in a down trodden tone. "Noah has a new quirk. A dangerous one. One capable of causing death. He's scared of hurting anyone. And me and Es are the only ones who can help him. Actually, I take that back. Fathe- Ugh, Eraserhea- Ugh, Aiza- Dammit! I really don't know what to call people! But the point is you can help. I mean, you already have dealt with this situation once before. No, wait, you are dealing with it right now."

To anyone who thinks this was rushed, I'm sorry. But I spent a literal two weeks on this. I had a rough draft weeks ago, but I changed it. The first version had a happier end, with everyone hugging and smothering Noah. But I then realized, this wouldn't be a child who went through a scarring experience. And if I wanted to make him scared of hurting someone, then that end wouldn't work. So I redid the entire ending.

Hope you enjoyed. Review, follow, favorite, all those things I'm oblidged to say. Oh, and please shoot me some ideas for future chapters.

If we somehow get 100 of something, be it faves, follows, or reviews, we'll see Noah and Eri in the future. Or maybe Es and Noy. I don't really know

Peace
