Chapter 1: A New Age
Kuoh Academy one of the most popular and one of the more successful academies of this town was once an all-girls private school that has recently just turned co-ed.
Although despite being co-ed the male-to-female ratio is VERY low (in favour of the female students) and many of the female student body believing this was a bad idea due to one simple fact…
"For the love of god! Can't these guys have any restraint?!"
Maigo was glaring at the Perverted duo who were being chased by the Kendo Club again.
"Why couldn't they become co-ed after I graduate."
Maigo hated the fact that she has to go to school every day with a bunch of guys due to the fact that almost if not all of them are perverts who only chose to attend this school because of all the female students.
The worst of them all being the Perverted Duo.
"Well there's not much we can do. Despite their reasons, they all got the necessary qualifications to attend this academy. Even the Perverted Duo."
The Princess of Kuoh Academy herself Yumi Kiba appeared. Called Princess because of her looks and the way she carries herself.
Blonde hair, bluish grey eyes, a kind personality and a body most girls would kill for Yumi Kiba was one of the most desirable girls of this school if not the entire town with Maigo being her equal and Kuoh Academies two 'Great Ladies' surpassing them.
It also happens that Maigo and Yumi are friends.
"Yeah well maybe this school just has low standards is all."
Despite saying that Maigo knew it was untrue.
Even the Perverted Duo got in through hard fair work.
Matsuda was a star athlete in Junior high and broke multiple records. Now, though he's in the photography club, he still remains an active participant in sporting events. Surprisingly he's very good with a camera.
Motohama meanwhile has one of the best grades compared to most of the male student body and is very good in mathematics.
Honestly the two actually have a very bright future… that is if they can keep their perversion in check.
"Come on Maigo at least give some of these guys a chance."
True that a lot of the girls don't exactly have a high opinion on the male students (especially the Perverted Duo) however Yumi noticed that Maigo seems to be especially… against them.
It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Maigo hates them. And she suspects that it's not limited to the male student body.
"And risked being peeped on? Not a chance."
Yumi sighed.
She can never understand why Maigo has such dislike for the opposite sex.
Though not like she was one to judge since she has her own hatred to deal with.
"Come on Yumi let's go, otherwise we're going to be late."
Maigo did not want to deal with the Strict Student Council President.
Besides the sooner she gets this over with the sooner she can get home.
School was over and Maigo was already heading home. She was one of the few who has not join in any school club despite many attempts from others.
In her eagerness to get home she remained unaware that someone was watching her through the window.
It was none other than one of Kuoh Academy's Two Great Ladies Rias Gremory herself.
"Maigo Tilly…"
"Something interesting about her Buchou?"
She turned to address her best friend and Vice-President Akeno Himejima who is also one Kuoh Academy's Two Great Ladies.
"It's something that Koneko told me. She said that there is a powerful scent clinging to her."
"Oh my, so she smells?"
Despite sounding innocent enough her eyes showed the mischief in her words.
Rias simply rolled her eyes.
"More as if she's been hanging around with something. Not only that but apparently it's the same scent that clung to Gasper."
Akeno widen her eyes in surprise.
"So what does this mean?"
"I don't know. Perhaps Maigo knows Gasper's contractor. But what worries me is what Koneko said about it."
"What did she say?"
"She said that it was the scent of a Supreme Predator, the scent of an Alpha."
Akeno looked worried at this. After all something that smells like that does not usually spell a good sign.
Rias took off her clothes and got into the shower.
"What do you suppose we should do?"
"For now we should just observe her. There isn't much we can do without any proof of something suspicious."
Though Rias is concerned because when Koneko made her report she had seemed anxious, almost afraid.
Although that could simply be because of Koneko's more primal instincts reacting rather than any actual danger but it was better to be safe than sorry.
She would have to have Yumi observe Maigo more closely since the two are already friends.
Maigo's House.
"Hey Gojira I'm home!"
I got off my laptop just in time for Maigo to hug me.
"Hey Maigo how was school?"
"Well if I ignore the perverts that constantly hound me and the others than it was ok. Honestly I envy you."
Right as it turns out I'm not able to make my Kaiju features just disappear (although I can fold my dorsal plates so I can lay down on my back whenever I want) so I'm basically stuck inside. So I basically just enrolled in online classes claiming that I was severely sick and couldn't go outside.
I did not want the risk of scientists getting a hold of me, as for the supernatural factions… well that's more complicated.
Anyway it turns that I am actually in High School DxD since we're in Kuoh town and there's a school called Kuoh Academy.
Thanks to Maigo I also found out that the Occult Research Club, along with its members, exist.
Although I was shocked at the fact that Kiba is a girl in this reality.
The two of us had exchange life stories when we managed to gain a certain amount of trust between each other (which was surprisingly easy).
Imagine her shock when she learned she is a fictional character and apparently everything else such as Kuoh is part of a fictional series called Highschool DxD back in my world.
Oddly enough she seemed to believe me. Something about the laws of science or something.
However she wasn't exactly happy to learn the fate of her fictional counterpart.
Despite believing about I belonging to another world where everything I know is from fiction, she has a hard time believing the more supernatural elements.
When I told her about the Machine Gods she said that 'Machine' is the keyword here. Considering there are deity-like beings in numerous sci-fi stories she has a point there. I mean just look at Worm and Hybrid x Heart for example.
So to test whether this is actually DxD or just another normal reality where the residents just happen to resemble fictional characters we decided to do a little… summoning.
Flashback
"You sure this is going to work?"
Maigo was staring at me with skepticism as I held up a paper with a summoning circle, one that greatly resembles the Gremory family crest.
Maigo got it from someone in a cosplay outfit and she never really got the time or thought to throw it out.
"Not in the slightest."
I said.
I mean as far as I watched the circle is seemingly automatic or something like that. Honestly I never got how any of this worked.
"Maybe we should try something more traditional…"
"You are not spraying blood over the floor."
Maigo warned me.
I shrugged and put my focus back on the summoning paper.
'Ok so how do I do this? I mean it's not like I can just wish for a devil to appear or something like that.'
Suddenly the circle glowed.
"HOLY-!"
I dropped the paper in shock before the whole thing glowed so brightly that Maigo and I closed our eyes.
As the light died down we were met with a very peculiar sight.
'Holy crap that's Gasper Vladi!'
I have got to say he REALLY does look like a girl. A very cute one at that.
He looked shocked, as if he wasn't expecting to be summoned, and look like he was on the verge on crying.
Before I can say anything something odd happened.
"Kya! She's so cute!"
Instantly Maigo grabbed the former dhampir and was practically smothering him with her sizable chest.
"Uh, Maigo that's actually a guy…"
But she didn't listen and continue to hug the poor boy who was blushing up a storm.
"This is going to take a while…"
Well needless to say we made a new friend that day.
Also I learned something new and interesting about the dhampirs of this world due to an embarrassing situation involving a bath.
I'm honestly still reeling from that information.
"So did Gasper find anything?"
"Nope. He checked throughout the entire web and some of his connections and he turned out with zilch."
I told Maigo and Gasper about my missing Kaiju cards. Gasper offered to help search from them.
There's been zero news so far which started having my hopes down.
"Maybe they're just far away from any known civilization."
"Yeah but then SOMEONE would have come across one and say something about it. Honestly I'm starting to think they may not even be in the same universe."
"You don't know that, in fact maybe…"
She widen her eyes before giving me a strange look.
"Hey Gojira, do you think it's possible that your cards may have fused with others like in your case or maybe even… come to life on their own."
I widen my eyes at the realization.
I mean I fused with my Godzilla card, met a Machine God, and now live in a world where every myth exists so anything is possible.
I felt myself paling.
Oh shit if what Maigo says might be true then we might be in serious trouble. Afterall not all of the monsters that are contained in the cards can be considered… nice.
"We might have to change up our search a bit. Honestly Maigo I hope you're wrong."
Afterall I have read and watched practically every version of every known Kaiju out there and in all honesty… I don't think even this dimension will be able to survive their onslaught.
Pico Bolívar
Deep in the cold mountainous region there laid a peculiar object that was out of placed in this time of landscape yet small enough no one would notice unless they look closely.
It was a card of all things lodged between two rocks, essentially preventing it from falling or being blown away.
However one of the rocks was a bit loose so the card was close to being displaced.
All it took was a strong gust of wind for it to finally be dislodged and slowly fall, never to be seen again.
Until it was suddenly grabbed by someone.
"Oy chicos, encontré algo!"
It was some guy climbing the mountain.
"Que encontraste?"
Someone from a higher point asked.
"Parece una especie de tarjeta."
He looked closer at the card and noticed something peculiar.
"Hay una foto en ella. Parece una especie de ... mamut?"
Suddenly the card glowed, startling the guy and causing him to accidently let go of card.
The card plummet down to the bottom as if it weighed a ton.
The guy could only watched as the card continued to fall.
Suddenly the light shined so bright it was as if the sun itself had emerged right out of the Earth.
The climber and his friend had to cover their eyes lest they turn blind.
As the light died down the whole mountain started to shake.
The guy and his friend were clinging to the rope, desperately hoping that the rope will hold and they would not fall.
They heard the earth crumble and crack before seeing something… terrifying.
"Madre de Dios…"
It was a large mastodon-like beast with spikes on his trunk back and head, red eyes, and was 112 meters in height.
The beast trumpeted before running off, ready to start its rampage.
Occult Research Building
Sealed Room
If there was a way to describe this room it would be… pink and maybe even… girly.
One would a assume that this was the room of a stereotypical girly girl… well they would be wrong… though not entirely.
After all this was the room of our resident dhampir-turned-devil Gasper Vladi who, even without his cross-dressing habit had looks that can easily cause most girls to be jealous.
He was not only a good friend of Gojira and Maigo's but he is also their contracted devil. It was thanks to them that he gained a boost in confidence and was less afraid of going out, although he was still a bit… shy when it comes to interacting with other people.
Gojira even helped him train with his Sacred Gear so he has better control over it.
Right now he was searching through the net for any monster sightings… which was honestly going to be a tough job, considering the supernatural world has numerous beasts and dragons that can definitely be classified as Kaijus, and there's always someone reporting sightings of some monster like Bigfoot or Nessie.
But he still promised Gojira and Maigo he'll help so he'll do his best.
He blushed at the thought of Maigo and Gojira before shaking it off.
He shouldn't think of that, knowing the two will never see him that way, not unless he uses 'that.'
He then noticed something peculiar and quickly clicked on it.
His eyes widen in shock.
'I better call Maigo and Gojira about this.'
"Is this really a good idea?"
"Totally and besides even if you are revealed most people will think it's cosplay… I think you should be more worried at your current lack of attire underneath that hoodie."
I blushed but didn't reply.
I was wearing an overlarge hoodie that covered my entire frame, and with my tail wrapped around my waist, essentially hiding my entire body.
As for what I'm wearing underneath… let's just say I took a book out of Kaiju Girls.
Don't judge me! Ever since I became a Kaiju Girl it became extremely uncomfortable to wear any kind of clothing. Besides at least it wasn't see-through!
Maigo wanted to show me around town, wanted me to get some fresh air.
Honestly this was a small town, so there wasn't much to look at but it felt good to be taking a long walk while breathing some fresh air.
But I was still worried that I might be found out.
"Hey Gojira what's America like exactly? I mean I hear a lot of stories about it but never something concrete."
"Well it looks like the most wonderful place to be at first glance but it's really a shithole, especially since the Americans voted for that guy things went from bad to worse. Ironically those voidquakes made things better since everyone was more focused on surviving rather than pointing fingers and killing each other for the stupidest of reasons. Though that's just my America. Pretty sure this world's America is in a better state."
I heard that this version of America ended up voting for someone else as President. May have to check up on my home country to see what it's like.
"Well maybe we should go visit at some point for vacation. Who knows maybe we might see another version of yourself in this world."
That would be pretty freaky if I'm being honest.
Maigo suddenly had her attention set on something and grinned.
"Hey Gojira how about we go check out some clothes."
"Why would we do that? I'm not exactly one for wearing clothes anymore ya know."
"Not for you silly, for me."
She grabbed me, heading towards the clothing shop, and I could have sworn I saw her grin mischievously at me.
I feel like a flag was raised.
Shit I should have listened to my instincts.
This is a goddamn lingerie shop, and some of these do NOT look like they should be legal. I mean seriously some of them have holes on them!
Some of the customers looked at me curiously, probably wondering why I'm so covered up.
"Excuse me but do you need something?"
"Ah sorry no. My friend just dragged me here. Wanted to try some things…"
She nodded in her head in understanding an gave me a pitying look.
That did not inspire confidence.
I then noticed a particular set that seemed very familiar…
"… Holy shit I think this is where Gasper gets his underwear."
I started hearing some sort of commotion outside and saw some people were gathered to the nearest TVs or looking at their phones.
"What's going on…?"
"Hey Gojira!"
"Maigo-! What the hell are you wearing!"
Can that even be considered underwear?! It's just covering her nipples and her 'special area' like something from hentai; she's practically naked right now!
"That's not important right now. Take a look at this."
I rose an eyebrow at this and took her phone.
My eyes widen at the video.
It showed a giant mammoth-like monster rampaging in a heavily populated area.
I know who that monster is.
"Oh… Fuck…"
Of all the Kaijus why did it have to be Brutusk?
"Just what is going on?"
Rias was staring at the video of the giant mammoth on a rampage.
"What do we do Buchou?"
Akeno looked quite concerned.
"For now all we can do is wait for further instructions. There isn't anything we can do at the moment."
'Just what is that thing?'
She has read numerous books about the supernatural creatures out there besides the ones that live near devilkind yet she has never seen or heard about this creature before.
It had some resemblance to an Elephantaur (at least in terms of body type) but was too big and too aggressive to be one. Maybe it was some type of mutated Gammoth.
She shook her head to clear the unnecessary thoughts.
She just hopes her brother will have answers to this situation.
"So what are we supposed to do now?"
Maigo and I were back in her house, we summoned Gasper, and were now thinking on ways how to deal with this.
"I don't know. Hell if there was a chance that my cards would come to life I thought they would end up like me, a bunch of Kaiju people. I just didn't think they would come to life as actual Kaiju."
I rubbed my head in tiredness and annoyance.
Gasper decided to pipe in.
"Gojira maybe it might be best for you to tell us what this Kaiju can do… Then we can decide on our next move."
I nodded in understanding to Gasper's idea.
"Well this specific Kaiju is called Brutusk. He used to be an ordinary mastodon but was heavily mutated by an alien virus. Not only did it increase his size and power but it gave him a powerful adaptive ability which also allows him to convert physical damage into energy making him more powerful the longer he fights. That energy can be converted into numerous freezing and burning attacks although his most dangerous attack would be the Frostfire Canon which dampens energy and causes rapid oxidation. Also he can create sonic bursts."
I looked at the others and saw that Maigo looked shock and Gasper looked like he was going to faint from fright.
"Holy… shit…"
Maigo said.
"And… how many Kaiju cards did you have Gojira?"
"Honestly I lost count. Probably past the hundreds though."
Gasper finally fainted.
"What the hell Gojira?!"
"Calm down not all them are overpowered as Brutusk… just a good number of them… and some even moreso…"
Maigo looked like she wanted to strangle me.
"Gojira… that doesn't make me feel better…"
She took a look at Gasper before shaking him awake.
"Wha… what happened…?"
"Nothing much, just that this world is pretty much screwed and most of us are probably going to die."
"Eep!"
I simply sighed and looked down at myself.
I clenched and unclenched my hands.
Goddammit what can I do?
Why couldn't I have been isekai'd as a true Kaiju and not just a Kaiju Girl?
"Gasper is there anything the devil faction can do about this?"
"No."
Gasper shook his head sadly.
"Even if they assume Brutusk is something from the supernatural world he is rampaging in a densely populated area and the whole thing is already broadcasted worldwide and is spread throughout the entire net. Something like this would quickly reveal the existence of the supernatural and despite Brutusk's abilities he isn't powerful enough to pose a threat to the entire supernatural world."
"So in other words we're on our own."
I gritted my teeth in anger before slamming my hand against the ground.
"Gojira…"
I looked up to see Maigo and Gasper looking at me in surprise.
"What?"
"Your arm…"
I rose an eyebrow in confusion and took a look at it.
"What the hell?!"
Instead of an ordinary human arm it a large reptilian arm with sharp dirty white claws and greyish colored scales.
The size made it look like I was wearing some sort of large gauntlet.
My arm suddenly went back to normal. It was quite a strange feeling, like removing a glove.
Wait, if I can do this then maybe I can…
"Hey Gasper where is Brutusk rampaging?"
"He's in Venezuela at a town near Pico Bolívar."
Pico Bolívar… what a massive coincidence.
I stood up.
"Gasper I need you to teleport me there. It's about time I actually start to take responsibility for this whole mess."
I didn't know it at the time but my eyes were glowing a bright red color at that time.
Brutusk was continuing its rampage destroying numerous buildings, freezing things and killing numerous people.
Its thoughts were a jumbled mess however the one thing that was clear to it was its rage against humans.
What was once a beautiful landscape was ruined by artificial creations that did not belong to this world. What were once a bunch of simple primates at the bottom of the food chain were now at the very top, forgetting their place in nature.
Well it was time remind them their station and show them what happens when they mess with its home.
It felt some annoying sensations as the military were firing their weapons against it.
Brutusk trumpeted, creating a sonic burst instantly destroying most of the nearby tanks and fighter jets.
The mutated mastodon growled in satisfaction before continuing its rampage.
In one of the houses, that somehow remained completely intact, the insides were suddenly lit up for a minute before fading away.
"Oh boy, teleportation doesn't feel as good as I thought."
"Sorry, I forgot it's always like this the first time."
"Next time warn us beforehand."
It was Gojira, Maigo and Gasper.
If one were to see them they would think they were a very odd group due to how different they are to each other but then end up flabbergasted at the current attire of one of them.
The outfit in question happened to be a single piece outfit that barely covered her breasts and other assets.
"You know Gojira, we may have been in a rush but did you really have to go out like that?"
Gasper blushed at what Maigo was referring to. He never got used to Gojira's clothing choice.
"Like I said wearing clothes makes me uncomfortable and wearing anything else would just get torn off… and you're the last person I want to hear that from!"
'Plus I'm living in an anime world so the chances of me winding up butt-naked in battle are a hundred percent.'
Their conversation was cut off when they heard more explosions and bellows.
"Enough of this. Come on guys!"
She ran off at incredible speeds, leaving the others behind, and did not notice the physical changes to her legs.
Jesus H Christ! It's a complete disaster here!
I mean I've seen video footage of disaster aftermaths and my fair share of disaster movies but it's a completely different ball game.
There were corpses everywhere: some were crushed, some were burned beyond recognition and some were completely frozen solid.
Despite this I felt nothing but pity and sadness for the victims of this carnage.
I should be feeling fear, panic and desperation. I should be feeling traumatised.
But I didn't feel anything but determination to stop this.
Is it because I'm running on adrenaline? Or is it because… I'm no longer human?
"Watch out!"
I kicked away a large debris that was about to crush a father and his child.
"You alright?"
He looked confused, but seemed to understand the meaning of my question, and nodded his head in reassurance.
I then heard what sounded like an angry bull elephant times a thousand.
There right in front of me was Brutusk himself.
"He… looks a lot bigger in person."
Brutusk trumpeted before smashing through some more buildings, coincidently sending more debris our way.
"Shit!"
I stood in front of the two, blocking them from incoming projectiles, however before any could make contact they were suddenly frozen midair.
"You jerk! You left us!"
I looked up to see Maigo being carried by Gasper who had shape-shifted into a giant bat.
I looked back to see the father running off with his kid for safety.
"That's not my problem! Besides you're not even supposed to be here!"
Right, Maigo practically forced us to bring her here since she didn't want to miss any of the action.
"Gasper I want you to try and get as many people out of here as possible."
Gasper nodded before bursting into a large swarm of bats to cover more ground.
"Maigo help out Gasper as much as you can. Although I would like it if you found someplace safe to hide instead."
"And what are you going do?"
"I'm going to get that thing's attention."
I jumped with my newfound strength, once again leaving Maigo behind.
"Hey asshole over here!"
Brutusk simply ignored me, or maybe he just didn't hear me, and continued smashing things to oblivion.
"Ok, then I'm going to have to get your attention another way."
I grabbed a boulder and tossed it right at Brutusk's eye.
Brutusk roared in pain and finally noticed me.
"Yeah come on big guy!"
I started running as Brutusk started giving chase, leading him away from the populace.
"Well I got his attention now just need to lead him away from here and then…"
…
…
Fuck! I don't know how to transform into a full Kaiju!
"Crap!"
I dodge a blast of fire that Brutusk sent.
Crap, Crap, Crap!
What do I do when I lead him away?!
I heard a loud trumpeting roar and almost got hit by a boulder.
Ok first get him away from the humans, then worry about transforming last.
Wait a minute…
"Hey where ya going!"
Brutusk is ignoring me and is heading back to town!
"Don't ignore me!"
I tossed some large heavy random objects at him yet he still ignores me.
I feel undeniable rage at his sheer audacity.
Does he really see me as nothing!
At a later time I would wonder about these intense emotions.
"Come back here you sorry excuse of an elephant!"
I ran before I jumped aiming to club him in the face.
However with speed I didn't know he possessed, he bitch-slap me.
It would have been hilarious if it weren't for the fact that my entire body is in pain!
That hit felt like getting run over by a bullet train.
I was sent flying back, away from everyone else.
I eventually landed on some water, my body slowing sinking.
It doesn't seem like I'm at risk at drowning, but I can't move my body.
It's in constant agony and it feels like some of my bones might be broken.
Shit, I may have bitten more than I can choose.
Dammit what should I do?
Maigo and Gasper are still out there. They can't do anything against Brutusk.
My body started heating up
Dammit. Dammit. Dammit. Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!
I refuse to just lay here!
I need to move.
My body keeps heating up.
I need to fight!
The heat finally reached its peak, my body lit up.
And that's when my body started to change…
"Hey Gasper I found another one!"
Gasper had managed to transport most of the townsfolk to safety.
Maigo was making sure there weren't any stragglers left.
A bat came and landed on the person before teleporting them away.
Maigo sighed.
This whole place is a disaster, even the amount of blood she saw was more than anything she ever witnessed in her life.
But she can't let her thoughts linger right now.
'Gojira I hope you're ok…'
She wished that Gojira would have given them more information to her plan, like how does she plan to deal with Brutusk? And how is she going to transform?
Suddenly the roar of Brutusk echoed through the air and the Kaiju himself revealed himself much to Maigo and Gasper's horror.
'Where's Gojira?!'
She couldn't see her friend anywhere.
'Don't tell me that she's…'
Her thoughts were interrupted as lighting came down from out of nowhere creating a large dust cloud.
Brutusk, Maigo, and Gasper's vision were blocked by all the dust.
As the dust started to go down the ground shook like a minor earthquake.
Maigo can hear and feel each stomp on the ground.
She looked and saw a large reptilian tail emerge from the dust cloud.
Eventually a figure emerged and Maigo was left gaping.
It was some sort of dinosaur-like entity: it's face is blocky yet has a majestic quality to it, its neck is broad and has shark-like gills, its teeth small yet sharp, its body covered in rough dark gray scales, its back and tail covered in dorsal plates the shape of maple leaves, its claws black like coal, and its eyes a deep red-orange color burning with rage.
Brutusk stared at this new arrival unsure of its intention yet wary as well as feeling an emotion it could not recognize.
Maigo took a good look in its eyes and recognized them.
"Gojira…?"
Gojira breathed in before letting it out:
Ssssssskkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
That roar. So powerful. So primal. It shook the very soul to the core.
Brutusk recognized the challenge and let out its own trumpeting roar that in her opinion sounded a bit pathetic when compared to Gojira's.
Gojira simply snorted before charging forth, Brutusk running to meet this challenge.
Gasper appeared and flew Maigo away just in time as the collision caused a massive shockwave.
The two struggled a bit, but ultimately Gojira proved she was stronger and tossed him away.
Gasper and Maigo were far enough that they wouldn't be in danger but close enough to witness the fight.
"Do you think Gojira will be ok?"
Gasper asked worriedly.
"I… don't know."
Maigo was worried, after all Gojira never explained the type of abilities that Godzilla possesses.
"Gojira… be careful…"
Brutusk got off the ground and shook off all the earth and dust.
It growled in anger at its adversary.
Godzilla snorted at him and made a 'bring it' gesture.
Brutusk snarled before charging at her once more.
Instead of meeting headlong she twisted and tail-slammed her opponent away. Brutusk was sent flying from the attack, crashing into a couple of empty buildings.
Godzilla backed off a bit, examining its opponent. Gojira is fully in control and as such still has all her mental faculties in check. She is aware of Brutusk's power and needed to think carefully on her next actions.
Suddenly a blast of blue fire was blasted towards her. She had no time to react as the attack collided, causing her to let out a small roar in annoyance and slight pain.
Brutusk instantly charged and Godzilla managed to hold him back. She was taken aback when the two were now seemingly equal in strength. In a moment of cunning Brutusk wrapped his trunk around her neck and managed to stab her gills with his tusk.

Godzilla roared in pain and absolute fury. She grabbed his tusk, trying to remove it from her gills. Taking advantage of this Brutusk used his free hand to grab her by the ribs and try to toss her overhead. Though because of her weight along with how he didn't have enough strength, caused the both of them to collapse onto the ground.
Before Godzilla could try to get up, Brutusk had recovered quicker and skewered her torso with his tusks. He kept pushing and digging his tusks further into her. It was unknown if he was trying to lift her or not, but he did not leave her a chance to get up. Before he could move further he suddenly stopped. The great Mastodon struggled as something stopped his feet from moving forward.
From the corner of her eye she saw Gasper in bat form, using his Sacred Gear to stop Brutusk, though he was struggling to maintain his hold.
It was unknown whether Brutusk somehow found this out or if it just found him irritating. Whatever the case Brutusk found him annoying and swatted him away like a bug.
Godzilla's eyes lit up with a fury. With a great rage, she stood up and tackled Brutusk.
Brutusk was left unprepared and as such was left helpless when Godzilla landed blow after blow and claw after claw on him.
When she was done Brutusk was bleeding heavily from the damage. Before his adaptive ability could take advantage of it, he was picked up by the tusks and with a twist, Godzilla ripped them off.
Brutsk screamed in pain before it gurgled as Godzilla used them to stab him in the neck.
As Brutusk lay there chocking Godzilla raised a foot up. For the first time Brutusk looked at her with fear.
CRUNCH!
Her foot crushed through his chest and squashed his heart.
With a whimper Brutusk has been defeated… killed in battle.

Godzilla let out a loud victory roar.
Suddenly light engulfed the two, blinding everyone in the nearby radius, and when it died down the two were gone.
Somehow the entire event was recorded and broadcasted to the ENTIRE world despite all the chaos that happened in the area.
Everyone will know the existence of monsters.
What no one knows is that a new age has begun.
Occult Research Club
"What… was that?"
Akeno managed to let out.
Rias had no idea how to respond.
They had just witnessed a grand battle between two monsters that completely devasted the town and witnessed the giant elephantaur-like monster's brutal execution.
The fact the two monster's somehow disappeared in a flash of light proved there was something supernatural going on.
But what was that second monster? Was it some sort of dragon.
Rias shivered every time she thought of that monster, especially its roar. Its presence practically screamed Power.
"I don't know Akeno… I don't know…"
Though what she does know is that she will be having words with Gasper when he comes back.
Grigori
'Well this is interesting.'
The leader of Grigori Azazel had been watching TV when suddenly his show was interrupted by an emergency news broadcast.
To say that what he saw surprised him would be an understatement. In all his life he had never seen monsters quite like those.
"So this era won't be as boring as I thought it will."
He turned to look at his surrogate son Vali who has his Sacred Gear out.
"Honestly I thought that with God and most of the major beasts being dead or sealed, this life of mine would be boring. But now…"
He smiled; a smile filled with a lust for battle.
"Knowing there are still monsters out there like those two makes me quite happy."
The wings of his Sacred Gear glowed.
{I would be careful Vali. That dragon-like entity has a lot more power than it showed. It may even rival Ddraig and I in our prime}
That statement simply made Vali more excited.
Azazel simply rolled his eyes knowing Vali's blood-knight tendencies.
Though he did wonder if these new monsters could help him with his Sacred Gear research.
Sitri Territory.
"Oh my. Well that was something."
Serafall Leviathan had been curious about what's going on in the mortal world. She got more than she bargained when she witnessed a goddamn real-life Kaiju battle.
She almost believed that she had come across a movie instead of the news.
"Who knew such beasts were still walking around. I should probably visit the human world more often for investigation."
Though she smiled and her eyes gained a twinkle in them.
'This would be the perfect excuse to visit So-tan!'
Although she was curious on why Rias' bishop was in the middle of that mess.
Heaven
"What were those beings?"
The Archangel, as well as God's heir, Michael had been watching over the Mortal world when suddenly the giant beast appeared out of nowhere and started rampaging.
He was sorely tempted to go down and help the victims. He almost did if it weren't for that woman.
That woman who went out of her way to save all those people.
That woman who has the ability to transform into such a powerful beast.
Whether she was holding back unknowingly, he could sense that she has the power to rival that of the Two Heavenly Dragons and Three Beasts of Apocalypse.
'Perhaps I should send someone to guard her in case someone wants to use her for selfish intentions.'
Though it was tempting for him to try to recruit her he is very much satisfied with the knowledge that the woman is good in heart. As well, though he is ashamed to admit it, his faction has a lot of corrupt members even by a Fallen and Devil's standards.
'Though who should send as that woman's guardian angel? It needs to be someone powerful yet not high enough in the rankings that their lack of presence would have any major impact. It needs to be someone I have complete trust over and who can hide well.'
His eyes lit up. He has the perfect candidate.
'This would definitely test those ninja skills she's so fond of.'
Evie Etoulde
Deep in the realm of the Machine Gods, deep in isolation, Melvazoa was squirming in pain.
His body convulsed and pulsated; occasionally cracks appeared with his body trying to repair the damage.
'Damn that human! When I see her again I will rip her apart!'
'No…'
'What?!'
'No you will not… She is MINE to do as I please… and…'
Melvazoa was now screaming in sheer utter pain.
"… this body… is now MINE!"
Melvazoa can feel his body breaking apart from the inside, he can feel his mind breaking apart, he can feel… his very SOUL breaking apart.
All he could is scream and squirm from the immense pain until he was reduced to whimpers and then he finally stopped moving.
His screams however managed to gain the attention of two lesser Machine Gods. They resembled more like cuttlefish or squid oddly enough.
They approached the still body of their master, concerned for his well-being.
The two scanned his body for any oddities that could cause this.
Suddenly the body convulsed violently causing the two minor deities to back off a bit.
CRACK!
An arm appeared out Melvazoa's body and grabbed one of the minor deities and crushed it.
The other tried to run only for a shadow whip to ensnare and bring it over to the monster.
The last thing it saw was glowing red eyes and a mouth full of fangs before nothing.
As if emerging from a cocoon a being broke out of Melvazoa's remains. It has a long horn on the edge of its snout. It has pale white skin, a red underbelly with four red eyes seemingly on its chest; it has four black claws on each hand and five on its feet, its left arm and shoulder was covered in a purple carapace while its right was covered in white with a strange arm blade-like thing on its forearm.
The beast examined its body and grinned in satisfaction.
'Now it is the time to start my rule.'
I slowly opened my eyes.
I'm back in Maigo's house. Was everything a dream?
I sat up with a groan.
Man it feels I went through some sort of marathon. What the hell happened?
Hm.
Maigo and Gasper are at my side, the both sleeping.
Just what happened?
I noticed Maigo holding something, a card.
I reached out to take it and saw that it was Brutusk!
That means it wasn't a dream. I actually transformed into Godzilla.
"Gojira!"
I was grabbed into a hug by Maigo who had woken up. Her action also woke up Gasper.
"You're ok!"
"Well I am tough."
I got a smack to the head for that and a glare from her.
"You had us worried sick! We all saw how Brutusk almost killed you. If Gasper hadn't used his Sacred Gear you would've been finished!"
Though that wasn't actually true as Brutusk lacked the power to actually kill me at that time, plus my healing factor is overpowered. Though now wasn't the time to mention that to her.
"Sorry about that… Wait a minute, Gasper are you alright?"
I remembered that Gasper got hit by Brutusk.
Gasper nodded with a smile.
"Vampires have very powerful healing factors and as a dhampir mine is always at its prime."
Huh, guess that's hybrid power for ya.
But I'm still happy that he's alright.
"I still got a tongue lashing from Maigo though."
I looked back at Maigo who rose an eyebrow as if challenging me to say something about that.
"But we were more worried about you. When you transformed back we weren't able to wake you up. We were worried that you were hurt badly."
"Well…"
I stretched my arms a bit.
"I only feel tired really, but I'm otherwise fine."
Maigo looked skeptical but Gasper seemed satisfied with my answer.
"Besides now we have one of the cards."
I showed the Brutusk card. Though that made me question one thing.
"Hey did you guys happen to have seen anyone near me when I was unconscious?"
Maigo and Gasper shook their heads.
Does this mean that the cards can transform on their own?
"Hey Gojira just so you know I can sense a lot of energy being emitted from that card."
I looked back at the card.
"Does this mean that card could go off any moment and we'd have to deal with a raging furry elephant again?"
Maigo asked concerned.
"I don't know. Whatever the case we should be happy that we got the card."
I looked at the two.
"I bet Brutusk isn't the only one out there. We need to find these cards before they all end up transforming like Brutusk."
"And what happens if we don't get to them in time?"
I looked at my arms and with a simple thought they both transformed.
"Then we'll be in a fight of a lifetime."
Author's Notes
Whew this is probably the longest chapter I have ever made. In all honesty I DID NOT mean for it to be this long. It was just a happy accident.
Anyway we get to our first Kaiju fight and the opponent being Brutusk.
In truth the battle between the two would have gone either way due to this being the first time Gojira transformed and Brutusk being basically set 'kill-mode.' Due to their current states they couldn't take advantage of their abilities. In truth if it wasn't for Brutusk's adaptive ability he would have lost against Gojira due to how she had better mental faculties, however since adaptive ability is more instinctual it gave him an edge over her. Also helps that Gasper was there.
However whether Brutusk's mind was stable or not his adaptive ability does have one fatal flaw: It's slow. When the ice age ended Brutusk couldn't handled the heat and it took him years for his body to adapt. Some may argue that that's because it's more combat-orientated but the fact is he relies on patience to wear down his foes. It's stated that if the opponent is lacks any strategy or pattern (basically is nothing but an animal) then he can be overwhelmed before his adaptive ability kicks in. Remember Godzilla is an unrelenting brutal force who won't give his opponents enough time to recover.
Remember Brutusk isn't SCP-682 or Doomsday. His adaptive ability is nowhere near that overpowered.
So yes Gojira and Maigo attempted to summon a devil to see if this was really the DxD world and summoned Gasper by accident. He has become their regular contracted devil (Rias made an arrangement that would allow Maigo and Gojira to summon him whenever they want though she still doesn't know about Gojira and Maigo being his contractors). Because of the duo Gasper gained a lot of confidence and with their help has a lot of control over his Sacred Gear and Vampiric abilities. He still tends to be shy around other people.
And yes Gasper has feelings for the two. I won't say where this may lead to. Also you may be wondering what Gasper was referring to 'using that.' The only clue I'm leaving is Testament of Sister New Devil.
So the fight with Brutusk has attracted the attention of the angels, fallen and devils (with Michael even knowing Gojira's identity). The reason why Serafall would be the first to know is that she's the one who's in charge of foreign affairs which means that she is the one who is most likely to know what goes on in the human world.
As to who Michael sent I already gave a clue. To those who guessed correctly, it was deliberate the 'she' part.
So I have just introduced one of the main antagonists. Can anyone guess who?
