Did I say 4? I meant to say 5 parts! Yeah, I'm getting lightly too creative... Though, it took me a little longer to come up with this one, but here it is!

I changed the title of the previous chapter too. I thought this one suited better here than the other way round.

In the previous chapter I also said I split it for a good reason. Well, I haven't forget to explain why I'm making so many chapters for such a short fic. But I won't say it yet.

Till then, Enjoy!

Ar-set.

Part 4

The yellow scout looked around, searching for his teammates. He had managed to come up with a fib to leave Smokescreen with the kids in the town, what gave them some time to keep up with the plan. Yet again, every servo would be necessary to finish it asap.

The corridor was filled with the sound of tools being used, and even some echoing voices too. He was close. He soon left behind the lighten place to wander into the darkness. The blue light coming form the back let him know he was heading the right direction. Suddenly everything went cold silent and the light source dimmed. Bumblebee rounded the corner, only to be met with a sudden flash coming from Ratchet's torch.

"All clear, is just Bumblebee." Arcee's reply set everyone at easy, switching off the torch.

*Hey, if I had known I would be met with such welcome, I would have stayed with Smokey longer.* 'Bee beeped, raising his servos up. *Hi, by the way.*

"Sorry, Scout. You have to understand we had to take measures. If the Rookie got to know it, everything would go to rust, not to mention the Prime." The former Decepticon medic explained, resting a servo on his back and guiding the yellow mech forwards.

*Yeah, I understand it. So, well, how is it going then?* 'Bee inquired, more interested now.

"The structure is solid." Bulkhead began, having a look up to the container. "We have fixed it to the ceiling, but of course, always respecting the wiring and ducts systems above it. Thankfully, the hall has enough height. That keeps the construction hidden while any of us can go under it." Then the green wrecker had a look at the blueprint on his data pad before signalling a pair of chains. "You see those?"

*Yes, I see them.* The yellow mech nodded. *That's part that activates the mechanism, right?*

"Exactly. Those chains are connected to the mechanism that opens the bottom of the container, releasing the cargo." Bulk concreted, while Ratchet, posted on a box, finished welding something in place. "Don't worry, we have found the way of hiding this all to Optimus."

"All set." The old doctor announced, switching off his tool.

*So... If I haven't understand it wrong, we will be waiting for Smokescreen hidden here.* The scout resumed.

"Precisely. And when we get under it... Mmmmhhaahaaha..." Knockout laughed wickedly, a special shine in his optics. "He will have the surprise of his life..." The rest of the team looked quite wary at him, before interchanged unconvinced gazes. Yet again, the former 'Con didn't seem to notice it at all. "... Problem solved. He will never ever dare to mess with us again."

"Alright, then. Time to get ready." The azure commander talked this time. "We don't want to be caught yet. Everyone in position. Oh, and Knockout, don't get too creative."

The red mech huffed again. "Yes, yes, I got that right the last eight times you replied it. You can stop stinging me around."

"Maybe we should do a test to verify it really works. Wanna volunteer yourself, Knockout?" Arcee delighted at the reaction of said mech, as this one moved away from under the container, looking at her offended. "What a shame. You would have being the prettiest test subject for sure." She mocked.

"I rather be the prettiest non test subject." He retorted annoyed.

Bumblebee interrupted them. *Guys, it's the time. Smokescreen is heading back. He will be here soon.*

Arcee nodded, getting in position. "Well then, here we go."

A/N

It was incredible to see Bulk into action, and I'm not referring to his wrecker skills this time. I could really see him comfortable as a constructor in this chapter. I really enjoyed it and also allowed me to explore another facet of this amazing character.
