Yep, I said it would be the real 6th part, because it is, but not the last one... Yet. So, what you say, 7 chapters?

It's for a good reason, and if my mind doesn't come up with any other one, I'll tell you in next part.

I would have updated earlier, if it hadn't been because Optimus turned out to be even harder to write this time! I'm never sure if I'm getting him out of character or just keeping him too boxed. One day I'll learn how to write him, but till then, I'll have to keep practicing. I just hope I don't end up banging myself against a wall while writing the next chapter...

Never mind, I'm just thinking at loud.

Enjoy!

Scold-imus Prime

Part 6

The kids observed exhausted their cybertronians counterparts. They were all with serious expression, arms crossed, mostly looking at the floor, waiting for Optimus' scolding... Except for Smokescreen, who was completely unaware of what he had provoked.

The rookie didn't understand why his leader had being covered in that white thing, but he had to admit it was hilarious. When Optimus had appeared, followed by his teammates, he had bitten his glossa to avoid bursting in laughter.

Since that thing seemed to be clinging by electrostatic forces, it had being a nightmare to get ride of it. They had needed what humans called a vacuum cleaner to remove almost all the white cork. And given the size of their leader, it had taken the kids hours.

There was an awkward silence settled in the base, when Optimus finally walked to the centre of it. His warriors straightened up as he prepared to talk.

"Autobots, ignore what lead you to behave this way, but I do not approve the way you have acted." Their leader began. "As a team, you should know any problems can be solved with dialog, not with secret plans. And after what I saw, I would like to hear your explanations and finally understand what lead you to it."

"Optimus, with all our respect, we do have a solid reason." Arcee walked forwards. "Smokescreen has made a mess all around the base. It's not the first time he had done it, and we're starting to grow tired of dodging the disasters he leaves everywhere." She added angry, signalling their novice. "We have even proven that telling him off does not work. We only intended to make him reconsider his behaviour." Optimus rose an opticbrow, inquiring.

"The idea was simple." Ratchet talked this time, professionally. "White cork sticks to the frame, and it is nearly impossible to get ride of it unless there's a bigger force that attracts the pieces. As we have just witnessed, it even requires of human assistance for it."

"The plan was meticulously though not to hurt anyone." Bulkhead continued, gesturing with his servos. "It entailed no risk at all."

Bumblebee advanced a step forwards, as he locked gazes with his leader. *It would have also helped Smokey to feel the way we have all felt during all this time.*

"Besides, our Rookie needs to learn he cannot just play around with our supplies as he wants. Specially with energon and medical supplies." Knockout made his opinion remarkable, folding his arms over his chest. "Nor erase important data, leave barricades all along the way, or mess up with other's paint job." He turned to the young mech as he remarked those last words.

"Guys, I know my behaviour hasn't been good lately, and you right I was leaving everything scattered around. I was getting so untidy I couldn't even find my own data pad in all that mess!" Smokescreen emphasised it by moving his servos before continuing. "Optimus talked to me few nights ago, and made me understood the situation." As he talked, the team looked at him with a mixture of disbelief and fume. "I'm sorry, and I promise it won't happen again."
