Stories of the past and an elder's death
Reaperpaw was watching over Ebonykit and her siblings on his 11th moon, and he felt inspired to tell the kits stories that his clan passed down through generations. He told them about how Duskclan was founded and how how the five great clans became Duskclan. He told them about the leaders and how great they were. He told about about the warriors and how they defended the clan. The kits loved the stories but they were called away by Spiderpond who came back from hunting. She gave Reaperpaw a grateful look before disappearing into the nursery. He was just about to go visit the elders when his death sense activated and he approached the elder's den with apprehension. He peeked in and saw Gingerflame and Riverclaw huddled around Petalrunner's body, he knew Petalrunner had died. He went to tell Birchstar and that night they mourned her death, Reaperpaw joining them as he enjoyed hearing stories that Petalclan passed down. He looked up at silverpelt where Starclan lived and hoped that Petalrunner and Specklepaw made it safely. He watched as silverpelt faded in the sky before going to his nest and sleeping.
