Saving Blossomkit and exposing the truth
His warrior days were happy as a new queen called Snowheather who joined Petalclan shortly after Reaperclaw became a warrior gave birth to a she-kit named Blossomkit, who was golden brown and dappled. Reaperclaw sensed something special about Blossomkit, because at seven days old she didn't talk or more like she couldn't talk, she was mute. Reaperclaw also noticed Mothclaw acting suspicious around the kit and Reaperclaw kept an eye on him. One night Starclan showed him all the the kits who died even the ones who died way before he joined Petalclan, they then showed Mothclaw killing all of them with deathberries while Birchstar and Maplenose watched it happen. "Save them young Reaperclaw, stop the dark ones and save the kits, save the clan of the darkness. And remember Reaperclaw that Birchstar and Maplenose know of Mothclaw's crimes and they let him do it because all three think that only perfect kits can live and all others must die. Stop the three and save the clan." Starclan said as they fadded away leaving Reaperclaw feeling sad, angry and determined. The next day while Snowheather was away Mothclaw snuck into the nursery and came out carrying Blossomkit and took her to his den. Reaperclaw followed and found Mothclaw trying to feed Blossomkit some bright red berries and memories of Oakbird warning him to not eat those as they were called death berries and just one could kill a kit. Just before Mothclaw could kill her with death berries Reaperclaw yowled "Traitor!" angrily and tackled Mothclaw so hard they landed in the grass outside the healer's den. His yowl was so loud it brought the entire clan over to see what was going on, even Maplenose and Birchstar came to see."What is going on here?!" yowled Birchstar angrily. "I was just tending to Blossomkit as I noticed she was getting sick and Nightpelt tackled me!" Mothclaw said."That's not true! I followed you to your den and I saw you trying to feed Blossomkit death berries!" The clan gasped in shock at what heard. "A healer's job is to ack" Mothclaw tried to say as Reaperclaw put a paw to his throat then spat back "A healer's job is not to kill kits but to heal injured and sick cats. And I know you've killed kits, many in fact." he said glaring at Mothclaw. "How would you know that? I say you have no proof, in fact I dare you to name one kit I've supposedly killed." He said with an egotistical smirk. "Ok how bout Tinykit?" He heard Deerwillow yowl in misery. "How about Spottedear's kits Featherkit and Sagekit? Spiderpond's kit Webkit? Ashdawn's kits Nettlekit, Dawnkit, and Bramblekit? Mouefeather's kits Skykit, and Cloudkit? And what of Appleleg's kit, Aspenkit?" As he said each kit's names the queens yowled in misery. "Do you think the clan will believe you over me?" Mothclaw grunted under Reaperclaw's paw. "If someone wants to check the healer's den, for death berries and to get Blossomkit back to the nursery, they can." Reaperclaw said to the surrounding cats. Bouldernight and Leafdawn went to check and both gasped "Nightpelt was right!" Bouldernight said loudly so everyone could hear him. Leafdawn then picked up Blossomkit and put her back in the nursery. "I also have to say that Maplenose and Birchstar know of Mothclaw's killings and just let it happen! Because they think only perfect kits can live and all the others can die!" Reaperclaw said as Leafdawn came back and the clan erupted into angry yowls. Reaperclaw had to yell to be heard over the voices of the clan "I've talked to Starclan and they're angry with you three." He said while looking over at Mothclaw, Maplenose and Birchstar. "How do defend yourselves knowing Starclan is judging you?" He said while continuing to glare at the three of them. Mothclaw was able to wiggle out of Reaperclaw's grasp and scrambled over to Birchstar and Maplenose. Birchstar spoke up then."We did it because our clan was weak, Petalstar the first leader made it a rule that weak, sick, and disabled kits die so we can breed out the unwanted traits and keep our clan strong. But only the leader, deputy and healer knew and it was to be kept a secret so the clan wouldn't know what was going on." "I hate the weak, sick, and disabled kits." Spat Mothclaw angrily. "It keeps the clan strong." Said Maplenose. The clan once again erupted into angry yowls as Mothclaw stared in horror as Starclan themselves appeared before his eyes and felt his companions bristling in fear beside him.
