Duskclan's new life and new apprentices
It had been a moon since Reaperclaw led his clan mates to the forest and became their leader, he had yet to travel to the moonpond to receive his nine lives but would go there soon. The clan had settled into Duskclan's shadowy forest and were already getting powers of their own. Raccoon had been accepted by Starclan and given the name Raccoonspirit. As he smiled at his clan he remembered the oldest kits were ready to become apprentices so he leaped on to the high rock and called the words for a clan meeting. "Today is the day that our oldest kits become apprentices. Come forward all of you." The kits ran over in excitement, Reaperclaw smiled as they scampered over to the rock. "Elmpaw your mentor shall be Creekspark. Swiftpaw your mentor shall be Newtpelt. Thunderpaw yor mentor shall be Bouldernight. Sootpaw your mentor shall be Fishleap. Lightningpaw your mentor shall be Appleleg. Sparrowpaw your mentor shall be Mousefeather. Dovepaw your mentor shall be Ashdawn. Willowpaw your mentor shall be Deerwillow. Eaglepaw your mentor shall be Falconwind. And finally Ebonypaw your mentor shall be me. I know I'm young but I'll do my best to train you." He jumped off the rock and touched noses with Ebonypaw. The apprentices were given a tour of the territory and by the time they got back it was sunfall. They all ate and slept in the apprentices den while Reaperclaw joined his friends in the warriors den.
