12. Team Rockets Punishment

POV Rebecca

When we arrived in the present, I saw Mewtwo lying on the floor under a net and Giovanni standing in front of him.

"Mewtwo!" I called and wanted to run to him.

~ Don't come closer! You can no longer protect yourself! ~ Mewtwo called to me. It was right. I couldn't fight anymore. There was nothing I could do ... I had never felt so helpless. But I still had a Pokemon by my side. Celebi, and it looked very upset because Giovanni was disturbing the peace of the forest. Celebi flew towards Giovanni and raised tendrils out of the ground that captivated the Team Rocket members and gave them painful punches. Then Celebi raised the network from Mewtwo with his psycokinetic powers. I was pleased to see Mewtwo get up. I ran to him.

"Are you all right?" I asked.

~ Yes. ~ Said Mewtwo.

Then we turned to Giovanni.

~ I'll make sure you never hurt Pokemon again! ~ Said Mewtwo.

Then it turned to me with a request that I never expected, "What should I do?"

I stared at Mewtu speechlessly.

"Do you mean what I think you mean?" I finally asked and Mewtwo nodded. Right now I think I was the happiest person in the world. I had been in the Pokemon world 3 times now and had never really fought a Pokemon fight. Now Mewtwo gave me the opportunity.

"Okay, Mewtu use Shadow ball!" I called and Mewtu fired a black energy ball at Team Rocket and its leader. Everyone was knocked out on the floor when I said, "Okay, now Telekinesis! Send them to the moon!"

Mewtwo used his telekinetic powers to lift Team Rocket members and their helicopters and vehicles, and hurled them all out of sight.

~ They may not make it to the moon, but it will be far enough where they can no longer do any damage, ~ said Mewtwo.

"Thank you!" I said, hugging Mewtwo stormily.

~ Genetic events. ~, Said Mewtwo and slipped his hand through my hair: ~ Your streak is gone. ~

"Yes, it had something to do with Mew. Thank you too, Celebi," I said and Celebi bowed her head haughtily, "What did it say?" I asked Mewtwo.

~ It said I could have eliminated those bad guys on my own. ~, Mewtwo translated it to me and I laughed.

"Of course, Celebi," I said, waving to him as Celebi flew back to his shrine.

Then I should bring you back into your world. Said Mewtwo and held out his hand. When I took it, we slowly took off.

As we flew along the sky, Lugia came towards us.

~ Did everything work? ~ Asked Lugia.

"Yes, thank you. I'm sorry I couldn't get involved," I said a little guiltily.

~ That is not bad. I know that I cannot be overlooked. Instead, I turned a few rounds to find a few of these machines. I was actually able to switch off a few more. But I haven't seen any beyond Jotho's borders, so we don't have to worry about that, ~ said Lugia.
