The depths of space.
Cold.
Quiet.
Lonely.
But for one bounty hunter, this was a sight she was accustomed to.
Samus Aran, Bounty Hunter Extraordinare, was given another job. A unknown anomaly was spotted around this particular area, and she was hired to discover whatever it was.
"I just need to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary here." Samus noted to herself, recalling what she was told, and kept a hard look out from within her Gunship.
After what seemed like an eternity, Samus finally spotted this anomaly. A wormhole, floating in the middle of space.
A concerned yet focused expression appeared on Samus's face as she moved her gunship a little bit closer. "A wormhole? What...?"
It was indeed an oddity. Wormholes were not a normal occurrence. But as much as Samus wanted to investigate, but that would be a risky move. For all she knows, the Wormhole could be a one way trip, with no way back.
But little did Samus know, a familiar, similar figure, was behind her ship...
With a violent strike, Samus's gunship was sent tumbling into the wormhole. Samus, caught offguard, tried to keep steady as her gunship kept going in...
...And by the time her ship finally exited it, she ended up...back in space. Samus quickly took a look around. A nearby planet that looked similar to Earth was nearby.
"This may not be the wisest decision, but my ship's been struck...I need to check if there's damages."
Samus took off towards the planet.
Samus made a landing, and came out of her ship, now in her Power Suit. The heroine looked around. The location seemed similar to a city, and was populated by weird squid humanoids whom seemed scared at the time.
Quickly inspecting the ship, it appears no damage was inflicted. "Strange, the impact had enough force to make my ship fly forward..." Samus thought to herself.
She then looked upwards upon hearing the sound of something flying. Her eyes changed to sheer shock upon seeing the ships of Space Pirates.
"The Space Pirates are here...?" Samus muttered, before looking off to the rest of the city. "They'll likely take what they can...unless I do something about it."
Looking at her arm cannon, Samus nodded to herself, and charged into the heat of combat. Immediately did she find a few Space Pirates, and in response, shot two of them.
The others noticed her. "It's the hunter! Take her out!"
Samus quickly rushed towards them, using the Grapple Beam to disarm one of them and kicking them in the face. She turned to the other one, and blasted him in the face at point-blank range.
"Now that they've been taken care of..." Samus turned to some wreckage of what were once buildings. Seeing a small opening within one of windows, Samus went into Morph Ball form to fit in.
The countless cries for help that could be heard as she did this happened only made her determined to stop the threat up ahead.
Coming it of the small space and exiting Morph Ball,Samus was spotted by an a Space Pirate Ship, which immediately opened fire on her. Samus immediately ran, outpacing the bullets by merely running.
Charging up a shot in her Arm Cannon, Samus turned around and fired a shot directly at the ship, making it explode.
"You should know I won't go down..."
Samus looked off into the distance of city, seeing vast sea. It looked like...smoke in the distance! Samus knew there was trouble. So she used the Grapple Beam to latch onto a ship that was flying in the direction of where the smoke was coming from.
But little did Samus know...this was just the beginning of a big adventure. One unlike any mission she had ever been on.
