Samus kept the Grapple Beam on the ship,as she scoped the place around her. Large bodies of waters surrounded the place, and so did some cities.
"What is this place...?" Samus thought to herself. This planet wasn't ever recorded...did she find an uncharted planet (Well, at least until the Space Pirates came)?
Reaching the area where the smoke was, she dropped down to one of the many known competitive maps, Moray Towers.Looking around, Samus began to think to herself.
"I need to make sure the Space Pirates don't cause too much trouble here. Or at the very least, prevent anymore destruction..."
Something hit her in the back, making her pause. Samus turned around to see two Inklings, except something was off.
The two Inklings looked...different. They had darker shades of colors all over them, and their eyes had a blood-red shine.
"Look! That Inkling's got armor!" The female Inkling noted, as the male Inkling merely grinned. "So let's handle it! It should be easy with the two of us!"
Samus merely prepared her Arm Cannon. Charging up a blast from the Plasma Beam, she fired at the two Inklings, resulting in a explosion that the two just barely escaped from in the nick of time.
Seeing as they were quick at avoiding attacks, Samus used the Speed Booster to fling herself towards the tower at blinding speeds.
The female Inkling attempted to take aim, but Samus swiftly kicked her back. Seeing an opening, the male Inkling started shooting from behind.
Samus just aimed her arm cannon behind her and used the flamethrower to try and incinerate the male Inkling, causing him to yelp as he ran from the flames.
As he was catching his breath, Samus used the Scan Visor to get a hint on her foes.

Inkling.
Inklings are cephalopod-humanoids that can use Ink to move around or fight. Inklings are very capable of fighting in wars, or for entertainment alone. They are skilled marksman, and will be to avoid your attacks by hiding in ink they shoot. It is important to note that this Inkling is under a corrupted effect, and will attack any in it's path. Dealing enough damage will result in it being brought back to normal.
"Corruption? Then going too far might be a bad choice..."
The noise of beeping was heard and Samus looked down to see a Spaltbomb, which exploded. While Samus wasn't inflicted with damage, her suit's visor was covered in orange ink.
Grunting in frustration, Samus wiped off the ink, just to get smacked by the Inkbrush, sending her back a bit. Samus managed to stick the landing, and charged forward, as the Inklings ran around her, using hit and run tactics to try and little Samus down.
"Too slow!"
A roller smacked into her.
"Gotcha!"
A bucket was slammed into her.
"Ya can't keep up?"
She was outright kicked in the back.
"Loser!"
She was shot at point-blank range.
Samus, without hesitating in the slightest, used the Grapple Beam to reel them both in and slam them into the floor hard enough to crack it and make them bounce up into the air.
The Inklings hit the floor with a painful thud, and Samus swifted landed a hard kick on them, knocking them down to defeat them.
"There wasn't much fight in those two..." Samus muttered, before noticing how the Inklings seemed to be...changing back to their original color.
To be exact, the female Inkling was orange, and the male inkling was blue. After a few seconds, they regained consciousness. Samus crossed her arms, watching as they stumbled onto their feet.
"Ugh...what happened...?" The orange Inkling spoke, as the blue Inkling shook his head, trying to remember what happened.
"We were on Moray Towers...and then suddenly some weird ships pasted by in the sky before this dragon guy went and attacked the Squid Sisters..."
Samus froze upon hearing that. A dragon? If the Space Pirates were here, then that dragon could only be...no, it was improbable!
Ridley was DEAD, wasn't he?
"A dragon? Where did it go?" Samus questioned, as the two Inklings turned to her, and were pretty excited.
"Whoaaaa! That's a cool outfit you have on!" The blue one said excitedly. The orange one gave a nod. "How much does it cost? Where'd ya buy it?"
Samus merely sighed, a bit annoyed. "Just answer my question."
"Oh, at Inkopolis. The Squid Sisters are there, and since the dragon is chasing them, it's definitely there." The orange one remarked.
"And where exactly is that place located at?"
The blue one chimed in. "Oh! We live there, we can take you there easily!"
"Uh...Ink?" The orange Inkling asked the blue Inkling.
"Yeah, Ika?" Ink responded.
"Why are there flying ships in Inkopolis?"
Ika, the Orange Inkling and Ink, the Blue Inkling stared in shock as Space Pirates flew around the city, laying waste to whatever they find. Samus, now glaring, got in front of the two.
"Stay back. I'll handle them." Samus ordered, before charging up a shots and firing up, ripping through a few Space Pirates.
Ika turned to Ink. "I don't think that's ink she's using." Sky just crossed his arms. "Yeah, I can tell."
"Heheh...well, what do we have here? Two kids, free to kill!" A Space Pirate noticed the two, and flew over to shoot them down.
"W-Whoa! Incoming!" Ika yelped as she and Ink avoided the shots in the nick of time. Ika then pulled out her own Splattershot and fired at the Space Pirate in the air.
"Grah! I can't see!" The Space Pirate began to fly all over the place, with Ika and Ink finding ithumorous. With a small grumble, the pirate attempted to Kamikaze...and missed by a landslide.
Instead it crashed into the water, never rising back up.
Both Ika and Ink high fived, as Samus watched, then nodded. "Follow me."
Samus quickly made her way through the Space Pirate horde attacking Inkopolis. Ika and Ink followed, grinning widely, finding this to be more exciting than life threatening!
Sky pulled out a Splatbomb and chucked it towards a crowd of space pirates. The resulting force of the small bomb going of knocked a few of the Space Pirates back, and knocked the others around, one even screaming "IT'S IN MY EYES!"
Samus took aim and fired the Ice Beam to freeze the Space Pirates in place. She then shattered the bodies by ramming into them, making quick work of the enemies. Both Ika and Ink looked on in astonishment.
"She's so cool..." Ika muttered. Ink nodded. "She'd be awesome at Turf Wars!"
Soon making it to the center of Inkopolis, Samus, Ika, and Ink slowly stopped as they saw the dragon with the Squid Sisters, about to do a horrific kill.
Samus paused.
Her fears were correct.
The space dragon heard the footsteps and stopped to turn around...and scowled.
"...Ridley..."
