Lugia took me straight to Arceus, where an entire gathering of legendary Pokemon seemed to be held. They were standing in a circle around a couple of Pokemon that were lying in the middle, unconscious. Zekrom, Groudon, Kyogre, Latios and Ho-Oh. They all looked badly battered as if they had lost a difficult fight.

Lugia, like everyone else, stared in horror at the Pokemon in the center. Mew hovered frantically above them and reported how Shadow Mewtwo had crushed these powerful Pokemon.

"Should I fight against this Pokemon? Against which these Legendary Pokemon already had no chance?" I said a little too loudly to Lugia so that everyone turned to me.

~ Is she? ~ Asked Articuno.

~ Yes, it is. ~

~ Tse ... Shadow Mewtwo eats a weak person for breakfast! ~ Said Raikou.

~ Be silent. This prophecy is the only chance we have, ~ said Lugia.

~ You are right, Lugia. ~ Said Arceus, then turned to Mew.

I just shrugged my shoulders and was very scared to face Shadow Mewtwo.

I can not do this. I said to myself. Raikou is right, it eats me for breakfast.

I sank to my knees, sobbing. I was sure that they had the wrong person. At the same time, Mewtwo's last minutes played in my arm in my mind's eye.

What should I do?

Then I suddenly heard Mewtwo's voice in my head: ~ Mew, I know you can do that. Have courage. I'm with you. You are not alone. ~

I opened my eyes and looked around in confusion. But Mewtwo was not there. How then? It was dead. I felt this terrible pain in my heart again. But the loud discussions of the Legendary Pokemon around me brought me back to reality.

~ This weak person should fight for us?! ~

~ She'll be begging for death, nothing more! ~

~ That is a shame! ~

~ Silent! ~ Arceus' voice boomed. ~ We have to trust in the band that this person once connected with Mewtwo. Even if this connection was too strong and against my will, it is the only one that can still save us now. ~

The earth suddenly started to shake and the temple ruins around us crumbled even more. Lugia spread his wing over me so that any boulders would not hit me.

~ Now go and hurry. There is not much time left in this world ... And neither does your world. ~ Arceus said looking at me. Thereupon Mew floated towards me and Lugia and teleported us into a dark cave.

It was very cold down here and it was pulling tremendously, so that I started to tremble in my easy-going, sloppy look.

~ If you go down the stairs there you'll meet Shadow Mewtu. ~ Said Mew, ~ I'll stay here this time. It shouldn't see me. ~

"Very well, but don't leave, ok? I don't know how we would get out of here otherwise," I said, looking out for an exit.

With trembling limbs, I went down the stairs. Lugia accompanied me. I was uncomfortable with the thought that I would face Shadow Mewtwo alone. At the end of the stairs it was pitch dark. I saw nothing but darkness. Suddenly a pair of yellow glowing eyes appeared in the dark.

"What's that?" I asked, startled and backing away, bumping into Lugia's leg.

~ I feel something ... Something familiar. ~ I heard a voice say, the sound like that of Mewtwo, but much more scary.

~ That's it. Shadow Mewtwo. ~ Said Lugia.

The cave lit up a little until I could see Shadow Mewtwo. It was almost like my brother Mewtwo. But this was black, with a strange yellow thorn in the shoulder and a yellow tail tip. His eyes were ice cold, which intimidated me.

~ A human? ~ Said Shadow Mewtwo. His eerie voice gave me a headache. His eyes suddenly widened as if it had an uncanny realization, ~ You ... you are much older ... but I recognize you! ~

Shadow Mewtwo reached out to me. A yellow aura surrounded me and I floated over to him.

~ You are here ... I've been waiting for you for a long time ... ~, said Shadow Mewtwo, trying to sound gentle.

But I trembled and was afraid, because it looked at me with that cold look, it didn't fit his words at all. Shadow Mewtwo clenched his hand, causing me pain.

~ ... to destroy you! ~, Shadow Mewtu finished his sentence. I screamed and flinched in the pain of his psychokinesis. Lugia was horrified and fired a hyperbeam at Shadow Mewtwo. However, Shadow Mewtu created a protective wall to ward off the attack. The hyper-beam attack was thrown back and hit Lugia with double force.

"Lugia!" I called in horror.

Lugia went down in a cloud of smoke. Shadow Mewtwo laughed angrily as I continued to try to catch a glimpse of Lugia.

~ You fools! Nobody can defeat me, my strength is too great for that! ~, Said Shadow Mewtwo triumphantly. Lugia rose in pain and Shadow Mewtwo fired a volley of yellow psyco blades at it. I heard Lugia screaming in pain, I could hardly stand the whole thing.

"Why ... why are you doing this?" I ask.

~ People are disgusting. You are no exception. And that's how I think about any Pokemon that helps people, ~ said Shadow Mewtwo.

"Your good side thought differently about me ..." I said in pain.

~ Silence! ~, Shadow Mewtu called and waved his arm to throw me to the ground. It happened with such force that I thought I would break all my bones.

Despite the enormous pain, I sat up.

"I can't believe that you were part of my brother ..." I said sadly.

~ The better part! ~, Said Shadow Mewtwo and raised his hand again. I was lifted up into the air again and now hovered very close in front of him, ~ I didn't let a person lull me ... that he even sacrificed himself for you is just pathetic. ~

My tears started to flow again: "Be quiet! You have no idea! Mewtwo meant more to me than you can imagine!"
