Rebecca POV

In the distance we saw that Mewtwo Y was lying on the ground, beset by people who were pointing with cannons at her. Mewtwo suddenly landed with me behind a rock and looked at me with concern.

~ Stay here, I'll help her. ~

"I see," I started, "she is more important to you than I am."

I dropped my shoulders and took the Azure flute in my hand: "Then we will probably not see each other again."

Mewtwo looked like it was thinking hard. It shook its head and then called: ~ Wait! ~

Mewtwo reached for me and something strange happened to me. My body was paralyzed, I could no longer move.

"What have you done?" I asked.

~ I don't know ... ~ said Mewtwo, staring at his hands in confusion.

Then everything started to blur and I lost consciousness.

I don't know how long it took me to regain consciousness. Everything around me was dark except for a kind of window that showed me pictures of a fight. At first I could only recognize the opponents. They were Team Rocket special agents. They shot in my direction with huge cannons. But they didn't hit me.

~ You will pay for what you did! ~ I heard Mewtwo say. But his voice suddenly sounded much clearer. It no longer echoed so strangely in my head as before.

Mewtwo POV

Suddenly Rebecca's paralyzed body fell over. She lay motionless on the floor and her eyes where closed. When I hugged her, her body slowly dissolved.

~ What? No ... Rebecca ... Stay here! ~ I shouted as particles floated skyward from her body. I could only hope that she returned to her world in this way. Although it never happened that way. At that moment I heard Mewtwo scream again and decided to act quickly.

These people were aiming at me with their cannons. I heard Giovanni laugh maliciously: "two are better than 1."

I wanted to get through to him and destroy him once and for all. I felt that this person was still chasing me to death. I fended off bullets that Team Rocket members shot at me. But I quickly realized that it was just a diversion. Suddenly a swarm of Scyther came out of the ambush, which flew swiftly towards me and attacked me. I managed to ward off a few attacks, but Bug Pokemon have an advantage over Psychic Pokemon and a targeted attack was enough to get me to the ground.

I was already afraid that I would not be able to save Mewtwo and that both of us, as slaves, would now have to live our lives in peace. Until I suddenly heard Rebecca's voice in me. She called my name out loud. That triggered something in me that had never happened before. The stone that Rebecca had hung around my neck suddenly shone brightly. I felt a tremendous new force in me. My shape changed a bit, I became stockier than before and I understood what that was. I had just completed a mega development. The Sichlor backed away from me somewhat skeptically as I concentrated and hurled them to the ground with my telekinetic powers. Then I flew on and saw Mewtwo Y trapped in a force field. She was still trying to free herself, but despite her mega shape, you could see how slowly her resistance waned. I reached for the force field and tried to free it, but the force field was too powerful.

"These two Pokemon are just fantastic," I heard Giovanni say with an evil smile.

Several Rocket members circled me to do the same with me. But I didn't want to be locked into a force field so easily. I threw the Team Rocket members away and continued to hover towards Giovanni.

"I make sure that a Pokemon never has to suffer through your hand again!" I said and raised my hand. At that moment something flew towards me. I could hardly see it, everything went at lightning speed. Suddenly I was tied to the floor and shaken by electric shock.

Suddenly, besides my own pain, I felt someone else's.

~ What does that mean ...? ~, I wondered when Team Rocket members Mewtwo y and I put a special crane in a van and drove us away.

~ What will become of us now? ~ Asked Mewtwo Y.

~ I don't know. ~ I said with a sigh. Tied up as I was, I was unable to use my psycokinetic powers because I could no longer maintain my mega form. We didn't know how far we drove until the van finally stopped. When the doors opened, the crane was used again, which took us to a laboratory. There I was put in a prison cell, in which the grids were also made of high current and then surrounded again by a force field. Mewtwo Y was taken somewhere else. I felt the fear in her mind when she was taken away.

"Where are we?" I heard Rebecca's voice say.
