New week, new chapter. I came up with something very clever here. This time the idea came from another franchise, not Pokemon. I was looking for a way for Rebecca and Mewtu to find out why they actually met and thus triggered future events. I won't tell more :)

POV Rebecca

We returned to Mewtwo Y that had regained consciousness in the meantime.

~ You saved me. ~, Said it clearly weakened.

"It wasn't us alone," I said.

~ Why do I hear this girl's voice from you? Did the experiments hurt me worse than I thought? ~

~ No, for some reason I can relate people's souls to other bodies. ~, Mewtwo explained.

So then it's true ... when I was created, the researchers said something about the ultimate Pokemon that can affect even souls. I didn't hear his name, but it was Human-made too. ~

~ But how can I undo it? ~

Mewtwo Y coughed: ~ I remember a song that the Bird Pokemon once carried to me. It tells of the north wind leading to a river where all the answers from the past are. ~

~ How are we supposed to follow the north wind? We can't see him at all. ~ Said Mewtwo thoughtfully.

"We can see him in the Pokemon world," I said.

~ I don't understand. ~ Said Mewtwo.

"Suicune embodies the north wind. But it is not easy to find, it likes to escape," I explained.

~ After all, we have such a trail. ~, Said Mewtwo and then looked worriedly at Mewtwo Y.

Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I will fly back to the Unova region as soon as my condition allows. ~ said Mewtwo Y, ~ fly north, you'll hit the north wind at some point. ~

Mewtwo nodded gratefully and then we flew north to find Suicune. I kept an eye out for particularly clean water, because that's where Suicune felt most comfortable. The further north we flew, the more we felt that the temperature was falling. It was getting colder around us. I started chattering my teeth when we heard a strange howl.

"That must be it," I said in a trembling voice. Not far from us, I finally saw Suicune in front of a snow-covered mountain and Mewtwo landed in front of him.

~ You are finally here. ~, Suicune said and nodded to us in greeting. Suicune was a beautiful Pokemon, with a gorgeous purple mane and an elegant, wolf-like body.

"Have you been waiting for us?" I asked.

~ Yes, come on ~, said Suicune, leading us into the mountain. Inside, too, everything was covered with ice, which made me freeze even more. When we reached the center of the mountain, a triangle with different colored spheres was embedded in the ground at each point. There was a black sphere farther from this triangle.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"It is time for you to learn the truth about how this world came to be," said Suicune. It reared up and created a tidal wave that hit us directly.

POV Mewtwo

The tidal wave hit us so quickly and unexpectedly that I was no longer able to protect ourselves. As we sank into the floods, images from the past appeared in the waves. It all went backwards to the point where the Pokemon World was created. Arceus hadn't just created the Pokemon World and Pokemon. But also the Humans. A glowing yellow bubble appeared before me and circled around me.

~ This is Rebecca. She was supposed to be one of the first Humans in the Pokemon world. But ... It all turned out differently ... ~ Suicune explained. Suddenly it became dark and from the darkness a pair of red eyes stared at me. Then I slowly saw the outline of the figure. It was huge and on 4 legs. It had huge swings and horns on its head.

"What's that?" Rebecca asked fearfully.

~ This is Sephirone. The brother of Arceus. He was jealous of his brother's work and sparked him in between, ~ Suicune explained.

The yellow bubble that was still circling me was suddenly caught by a strong wind and driven away.

~ It so happened that you never saw this world and ended up in another world instead. ~, Suicune said to Rebecca.

The waves now shrank back around us. I was soaked and could not believe what I had just seen. Rebecca should really belong in the Pokemon world?

"So that means ... everything that happened was no accident," said Rebecca.

~ No Mew knew who you were when it entered your body. It couldn't have survived in any other body in your world. Because you partially have the unique DNA that only all the inhabitants of this world have, ~ said Suicune.

~ But why didn't Arceus know about all of this? Or ... did it know all the time and just wanted to bully us? ~ I asked.

~ No, Arceus didn't know who Rebecca was because Sephirone, like you, can manipulate thoughts. Arceus has no memories of Rebecca's creation. ~

~ I didn't feel that it was particularly easy to manipulate Arceus' thoughts ... ~ I said more to myself.

~ Sephirone is far more powerful than you, and probably more powerful than Arceus at the moment, ~ said Suicune.

~ Well, that's one thing. So how does Rebecca get her body back? ~ I asked.

~ It's up to you, ~ said Suicune, summoning a new tidal wave that hit me.

~ What?! ~, Now I saw the pictures from my past. Much of it has been chasing me every night in nightmares, but Rebecca didn't know about that. Then I suddenly saw Arceus that was there when I was created, and as often as these scenes followed me, I had never seen Arceus in it.

~ Finally, the time has come. This Pokemon is supposed to watch over and protect Pokemon and Humans. ~ I heard Arceus say. Then came what Arceus hadn't foreseen. That I wiped out my creators and wanted to take revenge on humanity.

Then I saw Arceus talking to Mew in his ruin: ~ We have to get Mewtwo back on the right track. Only you can help me with that. ~

Mew nodded to Arceus and flew away. So one thing had come to another. Although Arceus didn't know where Mew was going, it had triggered all of the following events.

The wave receded and I sank to my knees, breathing heavily.
