POV Rebecca

It was unbelievable what Suicune showed us. I knew it wasn't just the north wind, it was also the river that had all of the answers for us. The fact that I should become the first human in the Pokemon world and that Mewtwo's purpose was to protect people and Pokemon came as a surprise to us.

"Mewtwo, are you all right?" I asked concerned.

~ It'll be all right again ... ~, it said exhausted.

"What about Sephirone?" I asked Suicune.

~ After the attempted manipulation of the Pokemon world, which it tried a few more times, Arceus banished it to the distorted world, which is guarded by Giratina. ~ Said Suicune. Your body is also in this world. It cannot return on his own. You have to enter the distorted world and reclaim him. But it won't be easy, because Giratina takes its job very seriously. ~

Mewtwo stood up slowly: ~ How do we get into the distortion world? ~

~ Travel to Sinnoh to the Spear Pillar. With the help of Palkia and Dialga you can enter the world of distortion from there. But be careful: A person's soul is very fragile, protect it well with your body until she has hers back. ~, Suicune explained to Mewtwo. Then it turned away from us and disappeared like a ghost into the depths of the mountain.

"I think I've now traveled the whole Pokemon world with you," I said to Mewtwo.

~ Seems like. ~ Mewtwo replied as it slowly floated out of the mountain.

~ Yes, we've been there. Arceus lives there. On the top of Mt. Coronet. ~

The ancient ruins where the Legendary Pokémon gathering took place ... Mewtwo teleported us there in no time. That was the fastest way, but it only works to places where we had already been. No sooner were we there than we saw each other face to face with Arceus.

~ So you want to go to the world of distortion. ~ It said.

How is it that it knew of what we had just learned but nothing of my true origin? I thought, oh yes, Sephirone.

Arceus nodded and briefly closed his eyes. It was surrounded by a yellow aura and then Palkia and Dialga appeared before us.

"Yes," we said.

Then the 3 legendary Pokemon created a portal in front of us that led into the distorted world. When I saw how dark this world was, I felt very scared.

POV Mewtwo

I could feel the fear that emanated from Rebecca. She always feared the dark a little. Even at home in her apartment in the dark, she was totally disoriented, which is why she often bumped into something when she had to get out of bed at night. But we both knew we had no other choice.

~ Rebecca, don't be afraid, I'm with you. ~ I tried to calm her down. Then I flew towards the gate and entered the world of distortion. It was really dark. No plants grew here, only barren stone could be seen. When I looked up, I saw the Pokemon world I had just come from. It was upside down now. Or was the distorted world upside down? I didn't know and didn't want to worry about it now. I just wanted to find Rebecca's body. As I kept floating and looking around, I suddenly saw a shadow scurry past me. The shadow was huge, bigger than Arceus.

~ Who dares to enter my realm? ~ Asked a voice that sounded so uncomfortably high that it hurt my ears.

The shadow circled me and then materialized in front of me. It was a dragon-like being, with eerie antennae on its back.

~ I am Mewtwo. And I'm here to find Rebecca's body. ~ I said, ~ Are you Giratina? ~

~ Yes, I am, so be warned: Nobody from the other world enters this world to leave it again! ~ Said Giratina and attacked me immediately. I evaded his attack and wanted to fight back, but my attack had no effect on Giratina.

"Mewtwo, Giratina is partly a ghost Pokemon.", Rebecca said and I knew that meant I was not up to him. My only advantage was that I was fast enough to dodge his attacks. But how should I concentrate so much on finding Rebecca's body?

Giratina was adamant. It didn't stop attacking me.
