The Paragon Knights Chapter 2
A formal charity benefit was under way as Tony Stark hosts a fundraiser for the aftermath of the Battle of the New Multiverse that was at Star City. To repair damages caused by the Shadow Demon Army.
Formal music played as butlers holding silver platters of refreshments walked around and throughout the attendees. Among the guests, was a man with long black hair, a goûtée and a Crimson red 3 piece suit. This man was Alucard. Or so he would want you to believe. Alucard sees a butler go into the bathroom for what was possibly a smoke break.
Meanwhile Kate, Peter and Marc have just arrive as they all wore Tuxedos to help blend on more. As for Marc, he was under his "Mr. Knight" persona as he was in an all white tuxedo with his mask on. "Alright split up and act casual. No one can attract attention or the fucker will get spooked. He knows I'm coming for him" said Marc as he adjusted his cuff links.
Kate and Peter did as they told as Marc was on the hunt.
"You know I never figured you as the tux type" said Peter as he straightened his tie. "I'm a CEO of my cousin's company, this is more of a rare daytime look" Kate explained. A butler walks up to Kate and Peter as he has a plate of garlic shrimp cocktails. "Shrimp Cocktail?" the server asked. "Probably a good idea to take em. It'll help flush him out faster" whispered Peter. "Yeah. Good call" Kate whispered back as she and Peter took the cocktails.
Marc was looking around as unknown to him, Alucard comes from the bathroom as he wiped his face with a paper towel.
"Excuse me? Mr. Knight is it?" asked Tony. "Uh. Yeah." Marc replied. "I'd just like to say that I would like to thank you for the donation your company made for Star City" said Tony. "*clears* Yes of course" said Marc. "You know my wife says I apparently know you" Tony adds as he puts his arm around Marc. However out of the corner of his eye, Marc sees Dracula mingling with the people.
"So anyway, enjoy the party" said Tony as he sipped his whiskey. "Huh? Oh right" said Marc as Tony leaves for Pepper.
Marc activates his ear piece. "Crimson Suit, long hair goutee".
"Copy were moving in" said Kate as she and Peter were advancing.
But before they could go any closer, the music changes as everyone paired up for a slow dance. "Shit, everyone is dancing he'll know we're coming" said Kate as she and Peter stopped in their tracks. "Fuck! Well find a way to move in closer without attracting attention" said Marc over the comms. "We're gonna have to dance. Move in inch by inch" suggested Peter. "Fine just, give me your hand and don't get any funny ideas. Hands above the waist" said Kate. "Oh I'm not like that. Besides I have a girlfriend" explained Peter. "You too huh?" asked Kate. "Wait what? Oh OH. I didn't know you flew that way. I mean that's awesome!" said Peter. "Alright follow my lead" said Kate.
Meanwhile Sara, Ava, Constantine and Mick have also arrived at the event.
"Alright Gideon said Dracula should be here so let's split up and kill him before he causes any damage" said Sara. "Already found him" said Constantine with his eyes locked on Dracula dancing with a woman. "We need to blend in, Mick, Mick?" asked Sara as she looked around only to see Mick getting a beer. "Well that figures." Sara adds. She then thought of a plan as she sees the people ballroom dancing. "I got a plan, John see if you can get an angle on him, Babe? Shall we dance?" asked Sara. "I don't see how dancing... Oh wait. I got ya" said Ava as Sara holds her hand as they make their way through the crowd.
"Alright them Dracky. Let's see what in the bloody hell you're doing here" said Constantine to himself.
Meanwhile as Kate and Peter were still dancing their way towards Dracula, our of the corner of Peter's eye he sees Sara and Ava.
"What the hell?" asked Peter in confusion. "What is it?" asked Kate. "It's Sara. What the hell is she doing here?" asked Peter. Kate then tries to get a look as Peter stopped her. "No wait. We can't let them see us or they'll blow our cover" said Peter. "Maybe they're after Dracula too" said Kate. "Possibly but from what Mr. Stark told me, The Legends tend to screw things up" cautioned Peter. "We're closing in" said Kate as she focused on the target. "Good. I'm also closing in, wait a minute. Fucking Constantine? The hell does he want?" asked Marc.
Constantine closes in as he sees a familiar face. "Marc Bloody Spector" said Constantine with his cheeky grin. "The hell are you doing here?" asked Marc. "Same reason you're hear mate. Ol Vladdy" explained Constantine. "That son of a bitch owes me money and he knows it!" said Marc. "Yeah well, he's under The Legends jurisdiction now, an encore not even supposed to be on earth" said Constantine. "Stay the hell out of my way or there will be trouble!" threatened Marc. "Ooooh scary, is that what you tell yourself in the morning at the mirror?" asked Constantine. "Fuck off John" said Marc as he prepares his Moonerang.
Sara and Ava were doing a slow dance towards Dracula. "John were closing in. John!" said Sara. "Yeah love we may have a problem" said John. "What is it?" asked Sara. "Remember when I told you someone was after his ass over some money?" asked Constantine. "Yeah ?" asked Sara. "Yeah well he's about 30 seconds away from killing the bastard before we can send him back to hell" said Constantine.
However as Dracula was dancing with his date, he goes for her neck and drinks her blood dry as the attendees scream in panic.
"PARKER! KANE! NOW!" shouts Marc has he throws a Moonerang.
Stark's security team opened fire ad Dracula dodges and teleports through gunfire as he claws and tears his way through them. Drinking their blood too. As Kate and Peter rush in, Tony suits up in his new Prime Armor as he dies a repulsor blast at the Prince of Darkness. "Get lost on your way to Sesame Street Count?" asked Tony as he flies around firing repulsor blasts and goes for a rocket boost punch.
As he did, his fist got caught by Dracula. "Hmmm. Tin Man Stark. I always wanted to know if billionaire blood tastes more expensive. After I peel open your armor, I'll find out" said Dracula as he readied his hand claws out. Then the Moonerang and a Batarang hit Dracula in the face as drops Tony and flies away through the roof into the night.
"DAMN IT AFTER HIM!" said Marc.
"Shit, Dracula's on the move prep the Waverider for pursuit" ordered Sara as The Legends flee the scene.
Outside, Dracula was leaping off of nearby rooftops as a suited up Moon Knight, Batwoman and Spider-Man chase after him with Sara and The Legends not far behind.
Dracula leaps as Moon Knight and Batwoman use their grapple guns to traverse the roofs with Spider-Man swinging webs. Sara, John, Ava and Mick were close behind as Constantine uses his magic to get to him faster.
Dracula soon reached a dead end as he only saw a multi story drop below. Moon Knight then arrives as he glides over with his cape as he lands.
"DRACULA!" shouts Marc. "Marc. It's good to see you again. Long time no see" said Dracula. "Cut the bullshit! WHERE'S MY MONEY?!" asked Marc. "You're still on about that? It was just a poker game" said Dracula. "I won that game and you made the bet. Time to pay up fucker!" said Marc as he pulls out his moon grapple hook and chain weapon.
"John get me over there now!" ordered Sara as Constantine conjured a jump pad for Sara to leap on. As she does, she runs a knee strike onto Moon Knight.
Sara extended her bo staff as she twirls it into a fighting stance. Moon then pulled out his on response as he goes for the attack. Marc and Sara engaged in a battle as the sounds of metal clanging against each other's staves was heard. Their bo staffs met in perfect counters as Marc dropped a smoke pellet causing Sara to go blind. Marc them goes for hits as he lunge pokes into abdomen strikes into hits into her back, front and a sweep of her legs. He lays his staff onto her neck.
